We found the motel staff very friendly and our room was nice and clean. The only problem was the Cable TV was not working in our room. They did give us $15 back when we checked out.

Excellent Hotel

It was a very well kept hotel. The plush beds made sleeping pleasant. The Location made it nice for traveling to Vancouver and close to stores, shops, restaurants in local area.

Great place to stay room was clean and staff very friendly. Also answered all my questions and bounus is the adjoining restaurant on site. Also bed was very comfortable and very quiet atmosphere. Good location, needs a bit of maintenance

Location was really good for the price, staff was very helpful. However the room I got had a toilet that wont flush. Staff cleared using plunger once but it wont flush again. That was a real negative.

Enjoyed My Stay

Best Economy Motel in Metro Van

Although it was out of the way, I loved my stay at this motel set in a wooded area near major highways to Vancouver. It was a 30 minute drive from the motel to downtown Vancouver. The room was clean, well maintained and had everything you could need. The staff were courteous and always helpful. The location is a bit out of the way but also quiet and surrounded by many beautiful trees.

Traveling from Texas we were looking for something affordable and a clean room.This property did have clean rooms and good internet. Beds were comfortable.Staff was friendly.

What you would expect for the price.

Everything was fine. It is a value hotel but the staff was great and the room what you would expect for the price. Clean and bed was comfortable enough for a good nights sleep.

Quite nice

The food was very good as the service for a decent price. Room was clean, quiet and everything worked. The only issue I would have is the washroom could of been alittle bigger from room to the toilet alittle higher but has to be good for kids too.

Poor choice

Had 15 cm of snow in parking lot with no attempt to clear. Room heat was totally off, and room stayed damp all night even with heat turned up. Overall, not a good feeling staying here, and I stay in hotels 50+ nights a year!

Reasonable value. Clean room but dripping toilet and reoccurring water pipe noise. Attached restaurant had irregular hours.

Good quality for a good price

We stayed for 1 night, liked it and booked again 3 days later. We have stayed in many cheap hotels and this certainly is one of the better ones. Reception was coorect and nice, room clean, fine beds and good worling internet.

Hotel is so far the freeway exit.

The staff was friendly, we just didn't realize that this hotel is so far from the freeway exit. But it's ok, we were tired that night that we need a place to sleep.

Econolodge Surrey bad experience

The toilet was clogged, I asked for housekeeping service, not available but instead the front desk gave me a plunger and i have to unclog it myself which in the first place not caused by us. The washroom was dirty when we got in, we asked for another room but was denied. Wont recommend this hotel to anybody, not even to an enemy.

We had just moved to Vancouver, and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while looking for a permanent dwelling.We researched for a hotel which would meet our needs; clean, a safe location, friendly environment and reasonably priced. Gross rooms

We noticed a slight tobacco smell in the lobby so we asked for a non-smoking room. The tobacco smell was 3x worse in the non-smoking rooms. It was just our room. The whole hotel reeks of tobacco smoke. The bed sheets had some dirty spots on them and the bathroom facilities were run down and worked very poorly.

Too much noise

Everything other than a bunch of kids staying there and making way too much noice on one out of nights that we were there, it was okay. Had to call front desk and tell the to please talk to them on making too much noice, slaming doors and noise talking and running down the halls from midnight till 8 a.m. the next day.

Spent one night at this hotel in early March because of it's low price. Check in took a little longer than it should have, but young lady at the desk was polite. Hotel lobby was pleasant. OK location, great price

Stayed here while touring the area, and the price was great! We had the peaked room you see in the photos. It was large with kitchenette. Something like $80 a night. Cant beat that!
