I used to do deliverys and I would always get nervous going into there because its kinda of shady, mind you they did the best they could for a motel beside a really sleezy strip club. I wouldnt stay there even if it was the last place on earth.
Kind and welcoming staff made the stay a pleasant one. Clean and comfy room. Good value for the dollar. Would stay there again.
Check in seemed ok. Room filthy and cigarette burns in sheets and blankets. Bathroom had unknown red splatters on the front of the tub and dried drops of something red on the floor. They moved us rooms and the new room appeared cleaner until we checked in the microwave! Food splatters and unclean. Then the banging and noise started from the floor above. Call to the desk promised to end the... more
We checked in, went out to diner, seen Dwight & Eric, returned to peace & quiet. It was nice. Nice light breakfast too!
Lamp by the bed didn't work, Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work, TV reception was very snowy and degraded, bed frames sticking out..
Very dirty rooms. They need updating and Better cleaning.
Bathroom doesn't have exhaust fan, and so floor became so wet. No thermostat with heating system. Curtain rail need fix.
Hotel owner was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Room was spacious. Liked that there was a fridge and microwave.
I didn't like the bed. If you have back pain I don't recommend this hotel to you.
It was Homecoming weekend for Western and Fanshawe. I am a senior alumnus of UWO. Hotel was calm, cool and collect. No noise, other clientele exceptionally courteous and respectful of others. Breakfast was excellent and never overcrowded. management made you feel at home. Will definitely stay again
Excellent service, but the clientele and overall facility condition need some attention. Numerous guests were walking the halls and talking loudly at all hours. There was a burn hole in a sheet and the tv remote did not work among other things. All encounters with staff were pleasant and helpful.
If you want a clean, quiet room...then this hotel is not for you. Rooms were not clean, shower curtain was dirty, floors were not vacuumed, and there was constant partying in the rooms throughout the night.
The first room we were given smelled of tobacco, alcohol and air freshener, we complained and staff was courteous and gave us another room! We were happy with second room(no smell) but disappointed in cleanliness...room neat and tidy, linens clean, however the floors were dirty...I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes, even on carpets! Would never go again! Would rather 40-50 dollars more... more
This motel was the first place my wife and I stayed during my first week in London Ontario. I knew nothing of London and everything was strange. The staff at the motel were very friendly. They always made sure that they made you feel comfortable and assisted however they could. The manager, a very nice gentleman, his wife, and son runs the place. They educated us on how the city operates,... more
This hotel was cheap and comfortable. However the room description was not correct. There was no tub or microwave. The couch was poor quality and we had many problems with the internet constantly breaking; often for the whole night. Overall the friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience; the room was kept clean and the bed was comfortable. Great place to stay a few nights cheap.
The hotel required a $50 deposit for damages as we checked in. This was a bad omen. Our room had a hole in the wall, a broken air conditioner (and it was over 30 degrees outside) and no water pressure in the sink. We asked for extra towels and never got them. I would not return to this hotel.
This was the most disgusting hotel I've stayed in. I had to have the linen changed immediately as there were not only black skid marks but also blood stains and cigarette burns (in a non-smoking room nonetheless) on them. There was apparent water damage along one of the walls as the trim had detached from the wall and the paper card within the telephone was discoloured. The toilet had urine... more
Hotel was moderately clean. WiFi did not work in the rooms or common areas, which was a big item as I was traveling for work. Not an ideal hotel.
The staff was pleasant enough, but everything else was disappointing. The toilet and bathtub needed a good scrubbing (I chose not to shower as it was just too sketchy looking), the microwave had food all over the inside and the fridge was just as bad. A thick layer of dust covered everything, but the most disappointing thing was seeing a mop being rung out in the dining room sink as I walked... more
The room was not clean. Tables were covered with coffee stain. Air condition was not working properly. The room floor was dirty too. Overall the room was not clean properly.
The was a lot of dust in the room, the were burn makes on the sheets in blankets which is odd since the room was a smoke free room, there was a lot of hair in the bathtub, and the one lock on the door didn't lock. They also could have more options for breakfast
Overall, this travel hotel/motel was good value for the money. My wife and I found the location reasonably well, and the staff themselves were nice and polite. Our first night, we had some problems with Internet, and the front desk remedied the situation the following day. The continental breakfast was good, and the rooms were good (although the beds were a bit on the hard side). Beside the... more
The room was disgusting, dirty and the alarm clock was stuck to the table it was so dirty...the carpets were filthy, the tub was dirty and I slept in my clothes. I do not recommend this hotel in downtown London to ANYONE !! I will never stay in an Econo Lodge again !!
Internet would not work consistently for either the Ipad or laptop I had. Neighborhood was not the best. Lack of eating places nearby. Staff was friendly.
I was very impressed with the updated room, cleanliness of the room and how kind the staff was. Complimentary "Breakfast" was a little disappointing though.
This hotel is awful, full stop. From burn marks on the blanket (in a non-smoking room!) to a filthy carpet to finding a hair rolled up in what was supposed to a clean towel, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Called down for replacement towels and had to wait to receive ONE in exchange. Asked for more and manager came back again with just one. The only good thing I can say about it is in... more

If you are looking for a decent budget hotel and don't mind a longer walk or drive to downtown, this is a good hotel for you. I was looking for a hotel to stay for a last minute visit to the Sunfest. The Hotel staff is very conscientious. I was given an upgrade when my original room was not available. The manager offered me a later check-out time when I needed extra time to find a place to... more
A little far from the air port but clean rooms and lots of space. Front line staff were amazing! Could ask for better service.
It was wonderful that the hotel let us check in early, since we planned on walking for all our sightseeing, and it meant we didn't have to lug our overnight bag around. He also gave us coupons for the casino, which prompted us to go check it out. There was a great continental breakfast, even though there was no milk for cereal. However the hotel seemed to be undergoing some construction, and... more
I enjoyed how the rooms were clean and kept. Everything worked well. Air conditioning was so loud we couldn't hear our movie but hey- there was air conditioning! Not an exquisite breakfast but fruit and muffins and bagels were fresh and delicious. I would stay again :)
Room was abit weathered and worn but ok clean wise. Location was near/on edge of the downtown which worked for us. It was fine for one night. Was informed on arrival that the party peoples had departed so hotel would be quiet for the night. Breakfast in the morning was appreciated even if it was coffee and a muffin. The staff was very nice and helpful. Glad the strip club was closed next door as... more
This hotel offers great value. Spacious clean room and great service
Was a short stay, rooms were ok, service fine, a little loud during the night but ok.
The cleaning staff along with the desk staff where all very accommodating, we arrived early and the cleaning girl had the room clean, but the towels where not in the room yet she quickly got me some with no wait what so ever. The desk staff where kind enough to give me gift cards to use at the casino, and the next staff where able to give me more cups that I need with no hassles at all. Thanks All
Our stay at the Hotel was exceptional. The Staff were friendly and attentive, and could not do enough for us. I would like to stay there again, as its' convenient location to downtown London provided easy access to bars, shops, and restaurants. Will for sure stay there again, and recommend it to my friends in business.
i stayed here three times already each time the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and accomodating! The breakfast was a plus and the rates were very affordable. Two minute walk from Dundas St. and restaurants, I'll be staying at this hotel everytime i visit London:)
I was here last week for an event at the downtown conference centre, the area is an older part of town, but the hotel and service for the value was out of the ball park! - I would recommend anyone travelling to london, to consider this property.
I am happy to celebrate a Great staff. This is a Quiet place. The Rooms are clean and comfortable. I Already have a future reservation for September of this year. I stayed here for three days in April and I returned for five days in May, 2014. Anne, New Jersey, USA
all you people looking for a place to stay in London with a sound budget and quality stay, then your search ends here. they have very friendly staff and an elegant environment. very pleasing and immaculate rooms. will absolutely return back to this motel any time i need a stay.
I was very impressed by the service that was provided. Booking the room was a breeze. A receipt was sent by email along with room details and services provided. Cleanliness was very good. A continental breakfast was provided as well - only thing, it could have lasted a bit later into the AM. All in all, a great stay all... more

Worst hotel ever. Hotel room was dirty. Service was terrible.
Pull in to the hotel parking lot (right beside a strip club) get out of the car and there are a bunch of gangster looking guys carrying in beer obviously having a party in the hotel. Great service! - everyone in the property was truly interested in me having a great experience. I was in London for a conference and since I was paying for the hotel from my own pocket, I wanted to save some money and not on quality! - I had concerns with the low rating on google reviews, but the other reviews on trip advisor put my mind at ease! - I figure I add a review here just to make sure... more

Bad part of town, view from the window is of the "Beef Baron" a trashy looking strip joint. I had an awesome experience in this hotel. The quality of rooms they provide is very high compare to the rate they sell it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. All together I had a very good stay.
Thanks and wish you gud luck.
My experience at Econolodge was amazing! i had a really great time and it was a cofortable stay! Not to mention the service, it was quick and polite. The noise from other rooms could not be heard and it was a really good sleep quality! Definetley one of my favourite hotels!
The service we received was okay, but it's never fun to hear that there are bed bugs present in the hotel. Along with restlessness throughout the hotel in the middle if the night due to intoxicated people also staying in this hotel. I would say that overall I will most likely not be coming back to stay with the econolodge anytime soon.
Decently priced hotel close to downtown London, for one night it serves it's purpose. Towels in the bathroom had stains and covered in hair. The so called manager of the hotel needs to take a read of the "commitment to your satisfaction" picture they have on the wall. Very rude and needs to learn about customer service.
The hotel is under construction.. When we called the front desk for the TV remote they told us that the remote doesn't work and we need to change channel using the buttons on the tv. The hotel is close
To down town though. It's recommended only if Yoy
Came to London, On for an interview on a cold January afternoon. This was a cheap option, but was all that we needed. Clean and warm. Friendly and accomodating staff who take pride in their work. No frills, but no complaints
This is a low cost alternative in downtown London. I stay here regularly for business and the management and staff treat me like family. This is a family run hotel that is working hard to constantly improve the quality of the hotel.
This hotel was quiet and clean, in a very central location, and with plenty of parking space.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. We will stay here again next time we visit London.
We just needed a place to crash after a New Year's Eve party at rumrunners. Room was fully functional - no complaints. Very hospitable staff (Mike). When there were no cabs available to take us to the party, Mike called his brother in law to drop us off. Very resourceful!

The place needs to be upgraded some. The shower/tub did not drain properly. Microwave & fridge were stacked on an unstable table.

“It is very convenient to access places of business and attractions. Good morning breakfast.”
Good rooms ,perfect location , friendly staff but worst breakfast in my life .
Staff very young although friendly but inexperienced. Motel was crowded with the people from near night club. Not recommended for families.
Very friendly front desk staff. Good room; clean, neat, everything I needed. Great location just 4 or 5 blocks from the center of downtown. Decent price too.The only complaint would be the appearance of the building other than the room. I believe the hotel was under construction, so not a huge deal, but the front was pretty unpleasant and there was a giant dumpster full of wood and furniture... more

“I stayed there on business Monday night. WHAT A DUMP! My office had booked me into this place. It is in an area that the locals call EOA (East Of Adelaide) This area is down right scary. The Beef Baron next door ( They call it Adult Entertainment) is definitely not a Gentle men's club. Most of the girls "Working" there stay in this hotel. I had to go through 3 rooms before I gave up and... more
“I went with my boyfriend and 2 other couples. We stayed in the Executive Suites. They were very spacious, however I was disappointed when there was not a Jacuzzi in our room. Apparently only one-third of the suites have them. But the staff was very friendly, they allowed us to check out an hour later at no extra charge. Overall, it was a good and I would definitely consider staying at this... more
