It was Homecoming weekend for Western and Fanshawe. I am a senior alumnus of UWO. Hotel was calm, cool and collect. No noise, other clientele exceptionally courteous and respectful of others. Excellent service, but the clientele and overall facility condition need some attention. Numerous guests were walking the halls and talking loudly at all hours. There was a burn hole in a sheet and the tv remote did not work among other things. All encounters with staff were pleasant and helpful.

Do not stay at this hotel

If you want a clean, quiet room...then this hotel is not for you. Rooms were not clean, shower curtain was dirty, floors were not vacuumed, and there was constant partying in the rooms throughout the night.

The first room we were given smelled of tobacco, alcohol and air freshener, we complained and staff was courteous and gave us another room! Decent place close to downtown.

This hotel was cheap and comfortable. However the room description was not correct. There was no tub or microwave. The couch was poor quality and we had many problems with the internet constantly breaking; often for the whole night. Overall the friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience; the room was kept clean and the bed was comfortable. Great place to stay a few nights cheap.

Not what I expected

The hotel required a $50 deposit for damages as we checked in. This was a bad omen. Our room had a hole in the wall, a broken air conditioner (and it was over 30 degrees outside) and no water pressure in the sink. We asked for extra towels and never got them. I would not return to this hotel.

Hotel was moderately clean. WiFi did not work in the rooms or common areas, which was a big item as I was traveling for work. Not an ideal hotel.

The was a lot of dust in the room, the were burn makes on the sheets in blankets which is odd since the room was a smoke free room, there was a lot of hair in the bathtub, and the one lock on the door didn't lock. They also could have more options for breakfast

No consistent Internet

Excellent Hospitality

Our stay at the Hotel was exceptional. The Staff were friendly and attentive, and could not do enough for us. I would like to stay there again, as its' convenient location to downtown London provided easy access to bars, shops, and restaurants. I was here last week for an event at the downtown conference centre, the area is an older part of town, but the hotel and service for the value was out of the ball park! - I would recommend anyone travelling to london, to consider this property.

Great stay

My experience at Econolodge was amazing! i had a really great time and it was a cofortable stay! Not to mention the service, it was quick and polite. The noise from other rooms could not be heard and it was a really good sleep quality! Definetley one of my favourite hotels!

Not a happy customer

The service we received was okay, but it's never fun to hear that there are bed bugs present in the hotel. Along with restlessness throughout the hotel in the middle if the night due to intoxicated people also staying in this hotel. I would say that overall I will most likely not be coming back to stay with the econolodge anytime soon.

Decent hotel close to downtown with terrible service

Decently priced hotel close to downtown London, for one night it serves it's purpose. Towels in the bathroom had stains and covered in hair. The so called manager of the hotel needs to take a read of the "commitment to your satisfaction" picture they have on the wall. Very rude and needs to learn about customer service.

Came to London, On for an interview on a cold January afternoon. This was a cheap option, but was all that we needed. Clean and warm. Friendly and accomodating staff who take pride in their work. No frills, but no complaints

This is a low cost alternative in downtown London. I stay here regularly for business and the management and staff treat me like family. This is a family run hotel that is working hard to constantly improve the quality of the hotel.

Reception area is clean and nice. Rooms are comfortable, just count your towels when you get to your room. The gentleman at reception though is very kind and helpful. Even though it was hard to find any hotel rooms in London that weekend because of the World Figure Skating, $165 is way too much to pay for a two star hotel. I really didn't appreciate being gouged like that for such basic accommodation.

There was a smell at the entrance where the vending machines were, There was also too many rowdy noisy tenants during my stay and I had to get up early for work the next morning.

I didn't get the room the I had a reservation for. I reserved a modern room with a jet tub and got a 50's style room with a normal tub. Everytime anyone flushed the toilet it sounded like a jack hammer.

We were supposed to get a King room but it wasnt available, instead we got a queen room right on the street beside the elevator. They charged 40.00 more than was stated on my booking.com statement.

It is a very run down hotel right next to a strip club. In the room the trim was peeled off the walls, in the hallway there was no drywall in parts it was blocked walls. Around the sink in the bathroom was all peeling away. The room smelled of smoke.

Location is next to a strip bar. It's noisy as it seems that University and high school students use it for a drunk fest.
