Un séjour mémorable à 15 minutes du Centre-Ville de Montréal !
Econo Lodge Downtown, a Montreal QC hotel, offers free breakfast and wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms. This hotel is near Film Festival, Underground City, Bell Centre and Chinatown.
Its cheap, clean and in a good location. Can't ask for too much considering the price.
One of the worst experiences ever. Never go to that hotel. Rooms are bad and dirty and a rude night receptionist. Very unsafe location and inconvenient. If you book there, prepare for a bad experience!
A no frills hotel at a very good location. It is within walking distance of down town and the happening sections of St.Laurent Blvd. Two important amenities (for me): 1) Free wireless internet 2) Free breakfast in the lobby Ideal for the budget-minded traveller who does not intend to spend his/her vacation in the hotel room... more
The hotel was very nice and the manager was very helpful. I was taken aback at the price of parking. Behind the hotel and across the street. $20 per night. Seems all of Montreal is that way. You park and walk!
This is a downtown hotel, just one block from a nice area. Eventhough the room did not smell tabacco, the hall did, and strongly. That was very unpleasent for us since we are not smokers. The hotel was very cheap, for the price we think it was ok.
one of the best locations in downtown close to metro, China town, and many shops. very convenient
Not the worst hotel, but not the best. Good location to metro, resturants, and sites. Many homeless people lived around the hotel and our floor smell of marajuana at times. The staff was friendly and helpful - we did have to switch rooms because our first room wasnt cleaned. Great if youre a budget traveler.
Do not expect too much from the Econo Lodge, but for the price it is a very decent value. The location is great and the rooms are decent. The breakfast is fairly disgusting.
The room was nice. The service was OK. But, don't count on the breakfast, it does not reach the level of basic.
The hotel was in the middle of very nice eateries and all of the historic downtown buildings. Although, older it was very nice and had character. The owner was very accomadting and even worked with us when we needed to leave early due to a change of schedule for work and credited back two rooms for one night. Customer service that was not expected! We would definitly stay at the hotel again.... more
Got exactly what I asked for: a nice, clean little hotel room to spend the weekend in. It wasn't anything fancy, but the bed was comfortable and the location was SUPER convenient - right near chinatown and Rue St. Laurent. We weren't exactly in the room except to sleep, and I actually found the service to be quite helpful when I was asking for directions and such. Overall I was very pleased. I... more
I booked a room in February, 2010 for four nights in June. When I tried to cancel it, (my credit card was charged for the full 4 nights in early May), they said it was impossible. The fine print said that any change or cancellation would have to be done by March 22, 90 days in advance! When I tried to get some satisfaction, like offering 4 nights at a later date, I had no luck. I will never... more
Great place located only a few blocks from downtown Montreal. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Is not a 5 star resort, but for the price it was a great place to stay. Would stay here again for sure!
I was not allowed to get a refund although we were not being granted access into Canada. My friend had a DWI 7 years ago and they told us we can't stay (Racist Customs Agents after getting off the plane). They said since we had a place to stay we could sleep there and come back at 12pm and be "deported". The hotel manager AND orbitz refused to work with me in giving me a refund on at least the... more
Giovani is the nicest manager ever. the people are very nice who work there. it is the perfect place for young adults and people who just need a place to stay while visiting for a few nights and who just want to party. its not luxurious. which should be obvious when you see the prices. its just cheap and perfect place. (downtown) Nice people!
Great place to stay if you are want to save money and don't need or want a whole lot of fluff.
Just a few minute walk from downtown Montreal, the Econo Lodge is a great value for travelers who are searching for a deal. The rooms are relatively spacious and the service was quite attentive. There is no parking and amenities are minimal, but we were looking for this type of hotel. The neighborhood is not top tier, but manageable. All in all, this was exactly what we needed.
We stayed overnight on January 16, 2008. We were in town to see the Ozzy Osbourne concert at the Bell Centre. The show was Awesome!
This was the worst hotel in all of montreal...the beds were not comfortable. It smelled like rotten old socks. The bathroom look as if it had mold beginning to form on the sink and in the bathtub/shower area. The toilet wasn't completely fastened to the ground. The hotel staff was extremely rude and not helpful. I would never stay in the same area again
Good location, really 10 mins to walk up to old port, the room is great because it was king size bed and jaquisee inside. Breakfast as it was known will have cold croisants and very poor.
quiet and efficient. Room and Bed were comfortable.Great location. Close to Metro Stations and within walking distance to Latin Quarter underground city and other attractions. Staff was courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast with croissants and coffee. would definitely stay here again.
Guest rooms feature WIFI access, A/C, Cable TV's, telephones with voicemail, complimentary local calls, alarm clocks, and hairdryers.
