The Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre, attached to the Grand Villa casino, is not where you'd expect to find an ambitious, energetic restaurant with a local, seasonal menu. And then you taste chef Daniel Craig's lightly cured salmon, which has the luxuriant texture of fine sashimi, offset with thin slivers of melon for a pop of freshness. The real litmus test of a casino restaurant is... more

This restaurant did everything wrong for a friend's birthday party.
1. It took 1.5 hours to get the appetizers out
2. It took 1 hour for them to get the first round of drinks
3. We had to continuously go and ask when the food and drinks would be coming.
4. No server was introduced when we were seated. And no Server checked in from time to time
5. Staff were dismissive of the concerns of service...

We had out of town guests and needed to place a large group reservation on short notice. The OpenTable app directed me to this restaurant as an option. We decided to book this restaurant as it was a central location for everyone to get to.

I consider myself somewhat a foodie and am extremely critical when eating out. We spent 2 nights at the Delta and ate 2 meals and one take out while staying there. Staying at Grand Villa Casino Hotel and had dinner at E.B.O.
Start off with the wild mushroom soup, but it was extremely salty. Seared scallops was my favorite; however, 2 pcs for $14 kinda rip-off. Mussels are tasty with little bit spicy. The main course steak and prawns was disappointing.
They make good cocktails and we decide to come again just to have drinks and appetizers.
We've been here before (albeit, over a year ago) and had good experiences. Tonight was pretty meh. The service had it's ups and downs, but was pretty good. It was the food that was really lacking. We ordered the mussels to start and found them almost inedible as half of them tasted fishy and the rest very bland and unappealing. Some guests at our table ordered steak which was good, but I really... more

This place is one of my favourite restaurants in the lower mainland and I've been to most. Very rarely do I write anything on Yelp.
The food at Ebo is always delicious, everything I've ordered has been outstanding and exceeded expectations. The staff are great and it has a very relaxed and spacious atmosphere.
It boggles my mind how more people don't know of this place.
This place is located at the Grand Villa casino. I was initially attracted to all the Instagram posts regarding the chocolate surprise dessert. It was delicious but a bit pricey. It could probably be shared between four people.
The entrées were nothing special. Everything came out fine. They were just really expensive. Service was good, but that's expected when you're paying that much for...

On a recent visit the service was poor and the food just ok, some in our party were not even served after waiting for over an hour, not sure how a resturant like this stays in business
We've have eaten here twice, both for special occasions (a birthday and an anniversary) and have walked away very impressed by the food and the service both times. Children under 6 eat free and it is family friendly, which is a nice draw for a restaurant like this. Will definitely have it on my list of go to places for our next fancy outing.
Ebo is located inside the Delta Hotel / Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby. I was hesitant to have a birthday brunch with my family since this is a restaurant that was part of the Casino, but the meal turned out great!

Simply superb sea fish and great wines. Excellent service too. Nice ambiance. Tuck yourself in one of the corner seats in the lounge and enjoy. Bit pricey though.

The entire team is just awesome at EBO.
Great team they have there.
We come here several times a year. Their mushroom soup is delicious. The entrees are very good too. We think it is very good value for money. Our only suggestion for improvement for this restaurant is for them to turn down the volume of the background music. It is a bit too loud for our liking.
We were seated around 8 am for breakfast and sat around for about 15 minutes before a server came to the table. EBO just started doing the Sunday brunch buffett a few weeks ago, and it is already a close competition to the Reflect Lounge in Crystal Mall's Hilton. I love the decor and how the food tasted - will definitely return.

It's your average hotel restaurant with a little flair in decor. I've been here for brunch and it was okay. It was definitely not the best brunch I've had. Ebo handled my gluten allergy expertly! They even have rice bread for us!! Great service, great food!!! I stay here mainly for the ease of eating there. Their staff really cares!!!
Slow service. Mediocre to bad food. I had the prawn linguine and it was much too heavy. The cream sauce solidified on my plate. I'm not likely to return.
