My sister and I went out to dinner to East Side Marios in Cornwall. We were greeted by a pleasant waitress who was completely disorientated. She brought us our salad, and soup which is offered with some meals and we asked where the bread was which is also complimentary. By the time she brought the bread the soup and salad... more
We went to East Side Mario's in Cornwall on a busy Friday night and we walked in with a group of 18 people. The hostess scrambled to get us seated as quickly as possible. Our waitress Michaela (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was fantastic. She had to handle all 18 of us, seated at 4 tables and she kept... more
We just left the resturant promising never to return. I ordered the Scallop Fettichini.
Burnt bacon, dried out scallops and old noodles did not combine for anything but a bad taste.
We never had our dinner bread delivered to us nor were we asked if everything was ok. We also had a change in servers which neither gave us any...

The cheese cappelletti was tough and tasted like a microwave frozen dinner. The mushroom caps were good but the garlic bread was old will haunt me tomorrow for sure. The Italian poutine was made from cold, old French fries. I brought this to the manager's attention and she insisted that there was nothing wrong with the food or service. Some... more
Been sitting for 1 hr 45 min and still have no food except for buns and salad. Will never return here. The slowest service i have ever experienced. People have aten and left and arrived after us.
I went to this hotel with 5 others. It was a Saturday night and unusually busy. We had made an advance reservation, so we were lucky not to have to wait long for our table. The service was great, and the salmon was excellent. We were seated at the front of the restaurant at a table near the bar, so... more
We took a day trip from Prescott to Cornwall on a Saturday and stopped here at East Side Mario's for lunch. It's next to Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar and we couldn't decide which to choose. So we went to Mario's and were very pleased. We were seated within a couple minutes, at a booth, within view of numerous framed photos... more
First impression are usualy correct. My first impression was gained while waiting 5 minutes for a seat in a nesrly empty restaurant, listening to the noise of the place. I was afforded the opportunity to order my wine right away, but after 10 min of waiting for it, I was advised it would take longer - for one glass? I... more
The service and food was very good. WiFi was available and centrally located not far from US border.
service was great and super additudes. drinks and desert went down so smooth cant wait to do it again
When did pasta become so expensive. Ten years ago the food was great and prices good. The food is average at best and prices are expensive for what you get. The pasta is definitely not traditional Italian tasting. The service is hit or miss, usually part time students serving food. The atmosphere is nice and the bar is beautiful. They... more
We often go to ESM but the prices seem to be ever increasing. Our best suggestion is the half price munchies after 9pm on the bar side when you buy a drink.
Love the ribs and the steak they do it to perfection, i enjoy the hospitality, hostess knows us give us our favorite booth!
A relaxing setting with large variety of food choices that are all mouth watering with some of the best servive around!
Cornwall has a large convention for three weekends in June, every year. This event is a great start to the summer season for the area restaurant / hotel trade. We ( three couples) decided to have an evening out knowing that wait times would be a little longer. East side Mario's is generally a reasonably good place .Our plan was... more
On several occasions I have met with business colleagues to discuss future business needs and have lunch. The atmosphere is very pleasant for an informal meeting, not too noisy or over active. The staff have been very helpful and friendly. Of course, the menu for East Side Mario's is always diverse and the food very tasty. All in all a... more
Like many places I've gone to eat, I selected to come to this particular restaurant for the atmosphere.
If you're looking to be able to converse with another person, think again. East Side's is for loud crowds and loud people who don't mind shouting to be heard. If your date thinks being loud is wrong, don't come here. You'll only leave them with a bad impression of you.
East Side's is...

The garden salad with fresh grated cheese and ground pepper really kicks butt.
For predictable comfort food, this place fits the bill. The value menu is great for families. (Mini dessert is yum!) A very busy location, so if you want a booth, come early!!!!
We were able to walk here from our motel and the service and food was delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly, it was overall a great dining experience.
