Great experience
October 06, 2012Nice room, great hosts, this place is a real treasure. It was easy to find and they were completely prepared for our arrival. When the internet quit working our host went out immediately and purchased a new router! Breakfast was great, too!

Unexpected delight

Good value for your money

Older home that has been well taken care of, the bed we were in was very comfortable, not like some we have been in. There is a shared bath, which it very modern and clean.
Breakfast was great, and served at our requested time. Don and Janice are very gracious hosts, making you feel very comfortable from your first meeting.

October 12, 2011Put this on your list for B&Bs in the Truro area. Nice room and the hosts and food were excellent. Both breakfasts were outstanding, and different each day. Easy to find and close to everything. Just 45 minutes to the Halifax airport.

July 09, 2011Eagle's landing is just a small B&B but it doesn't lack for service, hospitality, and excellent conversation from the kind hosts. I was just stopping through Truro on the way out to Cape Breton...otherwise I'd have stayed here my entire trip. Great breakfast and well-appointed, modern rooms.

A Welcome Port in a Hurricane

Janice and Donnie were fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious and we did not need to eat until the evening meal. We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. They recommended restaurants and side-trips. Janice and Donnie were very friendly and helpful (many laughs were shared).

We stayed one night at the Eagles Landing in Truro. The hosts, Janice & Don, were most pleasant and very friendly. We stayed at the ensuite with its own bathroom and shower. The room was quite large and clean. Wireless internet is good.
We had the most delicious breakfast. The nightly rate is fairly reasonanble.

to close to a busy road

I liked the food, the cleanliness, the owners, the room. I didn't like the old bed and the fact that it was so close to a main road and I had to use ear plugs to sleep. Having said that, if you don't mind the noise, I feel this one is good value.
