August 14, 2014Average food, very clean restaurant but nothing exciting on the menu. Seems like it is a favorite with the locals. Clean bathrooms. Good for burgers or sandwiches and fries. My Reuben was very very greasy.

Disappointed
May 20, 2014The seafood platter has been disappointing lately . Despite an increase of about 30% in price the quantity of seafood has diminished . My last platter had only 3 very small clams , and 3 small scallops , along with the usual 5 shrimp skewer and fried haddock piece. Cost $18.99 , not worth it.

Just wondering where the good food, great service, and happy customers went?
We found it difficult to obtain service, difficult to be satisfied with the quality of our food, and difficult to even consider returning.
Just wondering when we can expect the driftwood to return to normal? We miss it.

March 03, 2014Driftwood has both good service and good food. Seafood seems to be their specialty. The fish and fries are excellent. Turkey and roast beef dinners seem a little dry later in the evening but overall excellent.

You'll notice I completed a stellar review on this place back in May; but boy what a difference and not for the good. I always enjoyed the food at the Driftwood, and something seriously has taken a turn for the worse. I cannot understand how such a beautiful new location could offer poor service and less than favourable food.

Won't go back
October 04, 2012Ordered pan fried haddock dinner. The fish was burned black and the fries were greasy and almost cold. Burned side of fish was turned down and whole meal was a disappointment. I was asked how was my meal and I told him but the response was. "Yes, we suspected the cook wasn't going to work out". I paid and left.

Bad to worse

I got Two Mozza Burgers with the works for my son and a Grilled Chicken Burger with Poutine for myself.
Now, when I order a burger with the works, I expect a slice of cheese on it, my son's burgers had no cheese , after all it was called a Mozza Burger.
