Stayed there on a broomball trip. Close to everything.
I.m sorry to say this was not a very good choice! For the momey charged this was a very dated and poorly maintained room. I stayed at the B building to have a smoking room room and it was very hot and musty smelling. My biggest concern however was the electrical as when I tried to turn the bedroom light... more
I had some visitors from Europe visiting for my wedding and we planned to stay at the Dreamcatcher and go bar hopping for my bachelorette. I had asked for a non-smoking, clean room and was told the day of my booking that they had made a mistake and my room was taken by someone else so my guests would have... more
I Stayed at the Dream Catcher only because it was booked by someone else. I have been reading some of the reviews from way back and the response from Stella "" it is a work in progress"" Well most of the complaints still exist except the windows not opening and the floors have been re-done and a paint job. The... more
I just got back from a 4 night stay at Dream Catchers and I have to say it was most enjoyable and I would recommend to all to give it a try. I have read down through all the comments and I have to say to the negative people that your comments are cruel to say the least. No pictures... more
The room was quite nice. Unfortunately for me, the one service that is most important for me was terrible - if you are looking for ANY internet then don't go here. I had to go to the local restarants just to check my email. Very noisy too with some of the locals staying in the main lodge. Bring earplugs. LIke... more
My family booked an efficiency unit for the weekend while visiting stephenville, and was so disgusted that we couldn't stay both nights; one night was enough! We even considered sleeping in the car, but I doubt our infant and toddler would enjoy that. I have spent a lot of nights in hotel rooms over the years, and I must say,... more
We spent 1 night at the lodge with 2 other couples. The guide book listed it with a full breakfast included. The lobby was nice, but from there it went downhill. Hallway dirty and trashy, lamps, tv, etc. were all plugged into one outlet with entension cords. We had 2 full beds. One was sloped on more than a 45*... more
My wife and myself and four friends had to spend a night in Stephenville on October 19, 2012. We pre booked at Dreamcatcher because a friend of ours said it was a great place to stay. We weren't disappointed. The rooms were very clean, and I can't say enough about the staff so i won't start. Some people you just... more
Had to stay here as all the other motels were full. The reviews are mostly 1 review which makes me think that these are friends of the employes or owner
.I stayed in the smoking building which was a filthy pig sty.The stair way walls all had fist or kick holes,The outside walk way to the room had chunks of plywood...

A couple of friends and I stayed at this lodge for one night and thanked our lucky stars that we had only booked for one. We stayed in an efficiency unit and it was disgusting. The futon and chair in the room were filthy. We didn't even sit on them. The bathtub was white but was more grey than white... more
It's a pretty dated building that was never intended to be a hotel or lodge. Bad 80's decor, marginal internet access, old/small tube tv's with no remote that works. Two flat pillows per bed and the bed covers might be older than I am. Do yourself a favor and just drive to Corner Brook.
My immediate and extended family travelled to Stephenville on a last-minute whim. I didn't have a lot of time to research efficiency units in the area, but did find Dreamcatcher Lodge. We were a large group - 6 adults and 3 children, plus a dog, and wanted an efficiency unit where we could prepare our own food. The management were... more
My friend and I stayed at Dreamcatcher Lodge this weekend, and I must say it is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Affordable prices, and the people are amazing. I will be booking my next stay back at Dreamcatcher Lodge again.
Nice, clean, convenient place to stay. Pet friendly a bonus! Our room had large living area with kitchen table, kitchenette, full bath and bedroom with tow double beds. Recently renovated and very clean. Nice entrance with deck and bench to sit out on.
Friendly staff and very clean facility! Chico was great!
My family and I(10 of us-all ages from 2-70) had to travel to Stephenville for a funeral. We booked 3 suites to accomodate us. The Dreamcatcher looked after our every need. The suites were newly renovated, clean, warm, cozy atmosphere. Lots of fresh towels, extra blankets and pillows, and included perks like free coffee and internet. Plenty of Parking, great... more
This is my first stay at the DreamCatcher Lodge. I found that all Business Centres;
Restaurants and Shopp ing Malls were very accessible from the Lodge which I thought to be a big plus. The Lodge is located in a very quiet area of town. The Manager and Staff were
very professional and hospitable. I would definitely stay at the...

I travel to stephenville every year around this time to enjoy the great ski dooing. One of the places i like to stay is the dreamcatcher. It not only has good staff, but nice clean rooms and a social area to lounge with family and friends. The dreamcatcher is also on mainstreet, with shopping centers and restaurants within walking distance.... more

I would reccomend avoiding this place at all costs. We were in the area for a wedding and decided we would go with an efficiency unit at the Dreamcatcher since we would be able to make our own meals. BIG mistake. The unit was run down, the couch had stains all over it, and the kitchen area looked like it... more
looks like they are gradually overhauling this place. The mattresses were excellent, the shower was so unpredictable that I wasn't about to let the kids get in it and there wasn't a plug for the tub... Don't generally like places where the sink is in a seperate room from the toilet either. We stayed in the main building - was... more
Stayed at this hotel due to the fact that the local Holiday Inn was full. My mistake. From the very moment I checked in, it was a miserable stay. The room reeked, the floor was not fully vacuumed and don't get me started on about the shower. The window only opened a crack and I didn't feel all that secure... more
Only a stopover while we waited for the Nova Scotia ferry the next day. We weren't impressed. No A/C and the windows don't open. No elevator. Didn't use the restaurant. Shower was only a dribble and sensitive to the sink and toilet being used. Wireless available in the rooms, but no desk.
