My family and I get food poison at Dragon Legend 龍珠匯. Salmonella. Diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps, vomiting for whole week. Need to go to Family Doctor and next day need to go to Emergency.
Called manager to complain, they don't even care.
This buffet is similar to Toronto's Dragon Pearl. Beautiful décor with big wood furniture. The food is high quality (buffet standards) but the selection is not as large as Mandarin. It's also slightly more expensive. I'd highly recommend it for a special occasion or taking guests.
in the opinion of the 4 us who dined at Dragon Legend just yesterday, it compares poorly to The Mandarin. The first turn-off for us was a steaming pot of sharks fin soup which we thought abominable in this day and age. Although the food was tasty, everything we tried that was on a steamer table was luke-warm. The tempura... more
Stumbled onto this place by accident while walking somewhere else. It was awesome!! Freshly prepared, delicious buffet and great service. Couldn't have been happier.
Our family of 22 adults, plus two toddlers had dinner on Saturday. The Peking duck and shrimp tempura is good. My husband liked the noodle in soup, salmon.
They even had fried frog legs, was tasty.
Desserts galore, decor is nice and back of chairs are very tall to create a privacy wooden look.
They charged $3 for our toddler....

Overall good quality and tasty dishes in dim sum, sushi, special hand-made noodle with a selection of different soups from spicy szechuan to less fiery fish soup. The entrees are well prepared, vegetables nicely sauteed, sesame chicken and sweet and sour pork were delectable when accompanied by the chicken fried rice which was not overly oily. The teppanyaki section has a... more
First time we went there for a lunch buffet. Decor was modern Chinese. There were huge tables available for larger groups. The buffet area was okay given that they were not busy at lunch. Food was okay but nothing surprising.
Second time we went for dinner. Place was super crowded. People cutting lines to get to the popular dishes. Line...

Pros: 2 large screen TVs that showed the NBA playoff game (Raptors vs. Nets)
Cons: Too many people, lack of parking spaces, average food, price
The decor is very interesting and Asian. You can tell that a lot of detail and thought was put into decorating and furnishing the restaurant. However, with the amount of people and tables crammed into...

I was SHOCKED>>>SHOCKED>>>to see Shark Fin soup proudly advertised at this restaurant today...I completely lost my appetite!!!
this is outrageous in this day and age!!! who does this????
PLEASE BOYCOTT until they lose this item from the menu!!
I went here for a family dinner with my parents and my fiancé's family. The atmosphere and restaurant décor was good, lots of unique things to make it feel Asian. However, the food variety was below average and the food tasted pretty average; typical westernized Chinese food.
For the price that they charged (29.99+HST/person), the variety was lacking and the...

If you like Dim Sums, Sushi and other traditional Chinese dishes with authentic taste, go to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Good selection of desserts and very friendly service. Advance reservation is recommended, particularly on week-ends, as the place gets crowded soon despite a large number of tables. The ambiance is great and the interior is very clean. We... more
Went a couple times with friends and family on lunch and dinner. Liked the atmosphere! Not a lot of selection but food was fresh. Sushi bar was good. Parking was a headache.
The restaurant offered dim sum from 9 AM in the morning before, but the menu selection was very limited. In April, 2014 the morning dim sum had been cancelled. Now it offered Chinese buffet $14 from 10 AM to 3 PM on weekday. The restaurant decor had a Wow factor! Got to check it out. The food was great!
Stopped in here when I was in Markham for a conference. Lunch wasn't provided at the hotel/conference centre, so I decided to check out reviews of nearby places and this came up. I went by myself, and it was busy, so they had to get me a table in another section which was fine by me. Nice & quiet and... more
More selection and better quality, nothing soggy or mildly warm. Everything was tasty and staff was always accessible. Huge place, different decor.
We were looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday, and Dragon Legend was great. Even if you don't like seafood you'll find enough to eat here.
The service was attentive and the decor was the kind of decor you want to tell all your friends about. It made Mandarin look old and outdated.
We were there at 6:30,...

The first thing you notice is the décor's nicer than the Mandarin (I'm comparing the 2 because Mandarin was the largest and most popular buffet in the city).
There are a lot of similarities and a lot of new things with this buffet.
I liked the layout and some of the options better than the mandarin.
Price is the same...

We were a party of 10 of mixed age from 70 to 2. A welcome to markham dinner for us. We are always wary of buffets but my husband and I both agree that the food was really good. It was very busy as expected of a Friday night. There was a wide selection of food from soups to rice... more
A must try! You won't be disappointed. The food is authentic and fresh. From the soups to the desserts, everyone will be happy!
About $36 p.p. for all you can eat gourmet oriental food. Worth every penny. Ask for the quietest table possible - there are plenty of nooks and crannies. Don't miss the exotic seafoods, mushrooms, neat stuff on a stick, BBQ and veggies/fruits never served at Grandma's House. Even hard-line foodies will find something to crow about (no crow though).
The clientele at Dragon Legend is almost exclusively Chinese, which speaks for itself. The decor is the best decor I've seen in a very long time at any restaurant, and for a buffet it is remarkable. Even the washrooms are a joy to go to. With a very large selection of dim sum, a sushi bar, as well as Western... more
This huge place has a wide choice of Chinese food as well as fresh salads and sushi. HIgh turnover means that food is not lying around for long. Be prepared to eat with a crowd. Very good value for all you can eat.
We finally had a chance to try the buffet dinner at this restaurant. I have to tell you:
Definite Try. You won't regret it!
Every ingredient used is superb, from sashimi to roast beef to desserts.
Two thumbs up !
Went to Dragon Legend in Markham for a family birthday dinner. Mid week 25.00 per person. Friendly and attentive and staff who always made sure the table was cleared. Very interesting decor. Vast assortment of Japanese food...nice selection of vegetable dishes, dim sum, tempura, there is a soup noodle station where they are made fresh right in front of you,... more
Very nice buffet. They cook in very small portions, so the food is much fresher than other buffets. But it also means food runs out a lot while they cook new food. The quality of the food is much better than average.
The restaurant is very clean and service is good. Some servers are typical buffet, some are really really...
