Tasteless service and food
August 07, 2014Although a pretty setting, the food was awful and the server said he hated Toronto and his job! Go to the Elm Tree Restaurant a couple of doors away.

Poor service

service was really not organized. At the end of the meal we were left of 20 min without anyone comming with the check. In the end I had to queue at the bar to pay.
My guest was still eating his salad when the main course arrives

A great meal without being rushed
June 24, 2014This was a by chance visit that turned out perfect. Start to finish it was spot on, from being greeted at the door to leaving the meal, atmosphere, and experience was perfect. The wine list is perfect, the meal I had tasty, we'll seasoned, and while the portion could have been a bit larger it was worth stopping here.

Great service and atmosphere
May 13, 2014Went with a group of 5 and we had an excellent time eating, drinking, and talking. Food was great, Owner and server were excellent. We ate in the upstairs room. The restaurant was packed at 7:30 on a Tuesday night. Wish that it had been warmer so that we could have sat on the outside terrace!

April 21, 2014A dinner here while my wife and I were at a conference. The food was good. The service was informal and superlative. Louie is a great salesman. The crab ravioli was excellent, but had a little too much sauce for my taste. The shrimp diavola was good (maybe a little short on red pepper). Nona's salad was beyond reproach.

It appears that the owners do not pay attention to these reviews. Several people mentioned in previous posts that the music was too loud. Indeed, loud it was tonight as well.
