It's a great store for finding cool and different gifts. I think the prices are a touch high; certainly not as cheap as walmart but it's different stuff.

AWESOME Store!
The staff are always friendly, the CEO frequently visits and checks up on the progress and the selection of items are huge.
They have everything from board games to ray guns, pop figures, puzzles, candy bacon and more.
The only thing I find is some items are a little pricey for what they are.

Cool treasures 'round every corner, and unique board games that are hard to find elsewhere. I went in here trying to find a cool set of trucks and cars for my cousin's boy. Found some great ones that he will have forever.

Great little shop in Chinook Centre full of fun things for everyone. It's a rather busy and chaotic store so I'd recommend trying to come in on a slow day.

I come down here for the stuff that you can't really find a lot of in the rest of the city, like Gloomy Bear, Tokidoki, blind boxes, etc.

I love this store and will often brave Chinook Centre (even on a weekend) just to get here. I'd describe this place as simply awesome, but that doesn't do it justice.

Something in me thought Discovery Hut was a chain. Perhaps it's the fact that it's in Chinook Centre. At any rate, it isn't. It's not exactly your small indie games style shop like you might find in other parts of town. But then again, I doubt very much a place like that would survive in Chinook.

Oh wow! I loved this store before they moved, and love it even more now!

With not too much effort, you can easily find fun things for kids of all ages. There is just so much stuff, you can't help but play with some of it.

Games; stuffies (stuffed animals); puzzles; toys; LEGO; and much more! Just go in and have fun. And, as others have said, just TRY to leave empty-handed.

The Discovery Hut is a great example of a modern toy store. They carry toys for the smallest of children to the oldest of adults.

Located in Chinook Centre right outside of Sears, this toy store trumps Toys 'r' Us any day!

They carry Playmobil sets, Thomas the Train sets, and other collectibles that Toys 'r' Us just doesn't seem to get into. These toys are high quality and good quality.
