Great coffee! Loved the friendliness of the staff and atmosphere of the cafe. Salted Carmel donut was good but it's very sweet!

I had heard that the Yonni's donuts here we amazing, so I headed over to get myself a treat. I ordered an old fashioned and a medium dark roast.
The coffee was empty, but whatever, it happens. At least it will be super fresh, right? The coffee was mediocre at best. For a dark roast it was very weak and bland.

There are times when I want coffee. And then there are times when I want REAL coffee. That's when I go to Discovery. If you're looking for a cup of joe, go elsewhere. If you want something full, robust, and authentic, then hit up Discovery and get an Americano.

Very good coffee and even better donuts. Music is nice, service is good. Highly recommended.

The best cappuccino I've ever had! Smooth and perfectly blended

Had a very good capachino and a good but not exceptional cinnamon roll. Employees were happy to be there and it showed in how they talked and treated the varied clientele (very welcoming). We prefer the Menzies St. location, probably due to the book store and bakery.

Perfect mocha! The espresso has amazing flavour, and they blended the drink with real chocolate. The balance was perfect and so was the sweetness. Awesome.

The ambiance feels warm and cozy. The staff were super friendly and knowledgable. We had a great 30 second conversation about our passion for caffeine which was delightful.

It's one of those places that I love and if it weren't for needing to see friends and family could just hang out at all weekend.

The coffee is great, Americano, drip you name it they really do make one of the best cups of coffee around.

The staff are great, it's nice to sit outside in the summer or inside and hang out in the winter or rain.

All in all, love it!

This place makes the best cappuccinos I have ever had. And I'm part italian, so that says something. The staff is very helpful and I love the decor. They even offered my dog a bowl of water because she looked thirsty. I highly recommend this place :)

Discovery Coffee in downtown Victoria is an excellent little shop that brews a cup as good as the best you'll find in the Vancouver scene.

Holy Moley I have to review this place. We were in Victoria this weekend and stayed and the Travellers Inn right up from this amazing coffee shop. The drip is UNBELIEVABLE!

All four of us were sad when our cups became closer to empty and would have easily returned for second and third cups if our day wasn't so busy..

The locals think this place is the equal to our (Portland's) local stumptown coffee...not quite there- but they give it a valliant effort. Good coffee by Victorian standards, though.

Perfection, that is all you need to know. Discovery has all the talent and quality coffee we have come to expect from local coffee shops, and great customer service too! That's right no holier-than-thou Batista s@!%e here, just great coffee.

They also have a great meeting space right next door.

I have always been a coffee drinker and have found some seriously good coffee at Discovery. It was in close proximity to my dog daycare and was always a do not miss occasion. I have met some great people there and the smells in there as well as the taste of the coffee and the overall atmosphere is excellent. Surprised I don't see more police there!

The interior reminded me of the house I grew up in way up north. Old hardwood floors, skylight, with a warm and cozy feel. I bought a couple bags of their special roasts for a true coffee connoisseur. My Mom.

Simply the best. This little operation makes a big impact on Victoria in ways most people don't even notice. They roast beans for a number of restaurants and cafes in Victoria, and train baristas, so if you've had good coffee in Victoria, there's a good chance you've tasted Discovery's coffee and not known it.

Discovery Coffee served me the first truly great latte I've had in Victoria. They roast their own beans and supply some of the local cafes. The croissants are good and so are the cookies, an important part of any good coffee shop!

Most importantly the staff are always cheerful and the space is comfortable and welcoming. Certainly one of my favourites.

Definitely the best coffee in Victoria! And the clientele is great! A mix of construction workers, kids with multiple piercings, retired people - fun place to people watch! The lattes are beautiful. Try the almond croissants.

If your looking for good coffee - drip coffee - this is a good place. They use a Clover to make each cup singly and the Clover always brings the best out of the beans. I had a cup of Esmeralda from the Clover here- it doesnt get any better than that.
