After my complaint they got investigated and had their green pass revoked. This place made me sick and I would not suggest anyone to go out here.
Pad thai was very bland and greasy. Basil chicken had very little chicken and the vegetables were all way overcooked. Delivery took over an hour.
I've always loved the food here. I usually get the seafood curry pad Thai but I've tried several others, too.
The problem with this place is the delivery service. It always takes over an hour to deliver to an address a kilometer away. It's just painful!
No thanks. 5 billion other Thai restaurants in T.O to choose from. Food 0, Service 0, delivery 0. Stars 0. If you value - even in the smallest amount - what you spend your money on, then spend it elsewhere.
I had the Lemon Grass Soup which was perfectly spicy (not too much) and the Pad Thai which was seasoned well. The Pad Thai could have been slightly less sticky but the flavors compensated. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their hot and spicy soup, a lamb dish, and others. The wine list was reasonably priced.
The restaurant is in a vibrant...

Ordered delivery through just-eat.ca. had a few hiccoughs because they originally rejected my order but once that was done the food was great. delivery was a bit slow though but that might have been just the time of day/driver.
Very cheap prices and decent service. The unique Malaysian food choices were awesome and spicy. Give it a go!
Went in for dinner during a saturday day trip. I am vegan by choice, ultra-allergic to eggs anyway by nature, and have learned to be wary of Asian cuisine, as vegan-ness and egg use varies greatly from one place to the next. The server was very helpful, and helped steer me toward vegan dishes that were full of flavor. I... more
I love this place, but the food is always a little too salty. Sometimes even inedible. I usually order the mango salad which is always delicious, and the cashew chicken. Good prices but I've stopped going because of the saltiness. I go to Mong Kut Thai (spelling?) nearby and prefer it over the Diner's Thai. I'm also surprised by how... more
This is what happens when you fail to use Yelp. One of the worst customer service AND dining experiences I've had, ever.
The server came over to take our order, and I asked if there were any dishes available that didn't include rice. "Well, you can just not eat it." She said, nonchalantly. "Well, I'm trying to eat healthfully. Can I exchange the tofu for chicken on this one?" I said, pointing...

I agree with Jennifer D. on this one. The customer service is pretty horrendous. While I did not find a hair in my food (thank christ) I did experience attitude.
Back when I didn't know there was decent Thai in my neighbourhood, I ordered take out from Diners Thai. They were continuously omitting my orders of rice that came with the meal. The first time I just ignored it. Probably just a...

This review is for delivery only, as I've never actually been to Diner's Thai. They have really good food for a decent price, and my first experience with them was excellent.
Since then I've still received a good order each time, with a couple of exceptions. Once the chicken in my Mango Chicken seemed rubbery, and the Pad Thai does taste a little too salty/ketchupy. It's not the best Thai I've...

This place was surprisingly delicious! The food was incredibly tasty and of high quality given the price. Dishes are around $8-12. And they're quite big! I had one of the beef dishes, and the meat was unexpectedly tender, the portions generous, and the taste incredible. The spring rolls were yummy as well, and not too greasy. This place loses a star for its ambience/setting though...its not... more
The name may not sound like much but the food at Diners Thai is tasty!
My favourite item is the panang gai (red curry chicken) dish. It's both hearty and flavourful. My hubby tried the appetizer tasting platter. So amazing, tons of selection.
The atmosphere is nice, neutral decor.
There's a very efficient and friendly server that I've seen ther a few times now.
I like it.
It's not bad. I've had WAY better. Stay away from shrimp anything, its always overcooked.
Ordered from here a couple of times and have never been disappointed.
Even it was a bad weather ,as we've desided to go for thai food, one of my friend recomended Diners Thai , then we went there. It was a Pleasant Atmosphere &Delicious Dinner with very good service .I got surprise- Prise is reasonable on top they served Free Jasmine rice .Alleast once you have to try this place
Great food, excellent service. Most dishes are under $10. They could even raise their prices a bit and it wouldn't hurt their business. Definitely, the best Thai restaurant on the Danforth.
Finally a Thai restaurant with an authentic Thai taste. I've been trying to find a good Thai restaurant for a long time. The food is reletively cheap considering the quality of their dishes and the great service we got. This is my new favourite restaurant.
Diner’s Thai offers a bevy of traditional Thai dishes and other Pan Asian cuisine. Dishes like pad Thai and satay dinners served with different meats, seafood and tofu will tempt Thai lovers. Meals are available for dine in, take out, or delivery. Catering services are also available. Lunch specials begin at $4.95 a dish.
