I like the location and the price. You can get fresh juice for $4.80. Most drinks are under $5. Basic bubble tea is only $3.80. So very decent price. I personally like coming here if I am at metro town.i have to say the place is very mediocre.
It is located close to T&T and I find the area very Asian like. Seems like most Asian hang around that area
I ordered the mocha red bean vanilla ice...

I like their drinks and bubble waffles quite a bit.
But I sometimes forget to mention that I don't want a slushie. It seems their default drink style is a slushie and I just want a tea.
They forgot my order few times in the past and their service is just okay. Very rushing for some reason even when it's not busy.
Typical dessert fair on the Asian flair, service was slow, lots of beverage selections and good customer service, however, there is something missing, especially in the decor that would make this inviting in passing hence the average reviews.
Average to good bubble tea. Not too sweet :) And its in Metrotown. Very convenient.
The egg waffles are not at the crispy level that I prefer, but also average. Its nice that they have the option to try different flavored egg waffles :) And options are always a plus.
Would come here again if i'm craving for bbtea during my work out, walking around the massive metrotown :P
But also close to...

Wish Dessert Dynasty was in a better location since it's right beside T&T Supermarket, so far from the centre/main parts of Metrotown! Service wise, they do get quite busy so sometimes workers are friendly while other times, it's just "What can I get for you?". I do feel a bit rushed at times so standing farther from the counter to decide helps. The bubble tea and bubble waffles/egg waffles... more
The foods not great but it was a refreshing surprise to walk in here after a crowded day of shopping. It's VERY Asian. The food options are interesting and remind me of Asia. You are meant to snack on the foods here (instead of it being a full meal). Most places here don't understand that. In Asia you'll find people eating all the time as they walk, shop or just hang out. Nobody eats for... more
Service - typical Asian service, don't expect too much. Staff aren't particularly trying to be rude but they can sometimes be disorganized and unfriendly.
drinks - like the fresh fruit options, pearls are always good here. Can also make combos of items for bbt, which makes it good (I like strawberry mango sometimes). If you don't like it to be too sweet, you can ask them to make it less sweet...

I usually stop in here when I am on my way in and out of T&T. The drinks are OK but my favorite item here are the Chinese bubble waffles. It is made fresh and it is always perfectly done.
Dessert Dynasty used to be one of my favourite bubbletea joints when it first opened. Sadly, it's been downhill since then.
Firstly, when I'm waiting in line to order a drink, it would be nice NOT to have three different workers yelling at me from opposite directions demanding what drink I wanted. Secondly, prior to the first, it would be nice if they gave me a little time to decide. Lastly,...

I've only been here once..
I go to Metrotown quite often, and have tried all the bubble tea places located inside the mall- Big orange, little tea house, even the ones that T&T sells. Since I've tried the rest and am actually not a big fan of any of the other places, I decided to give this place a shot.
I ordered a Milk Tea, and since it was on the expensive side (almost $5) and the business...

The bubble waffles were good, although some of them were more blobs than bubbles...still good though! Still good!
If you ever had a craving for bubble tea or want to snack on some bubble waffles before shopping at T & T, this is the place. They make decent bbt and yummy bubble waffles. Say what? Bubble waffles? Actually, bubble waffles reminds me of Hyuna's "Bubble pop" song ( youtube.com/watch?v=bw9C… ). You can pop my bubbles anytime Hyuna!
Dessert Dynasty makes decent bbt and I love their bubble...

Ordered their fresh watermelon bubble tea. Man was it delicious. Fresh watermelon is the way to go. Their bubbles were slightly hard and very chewy. Not a fan of their bubbles.
Their waffle balls were delicious though. Crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. It was made to order so it was nice and hot.
I'll make this short.
I was hungry since I only had 2 cheese sticks for breakfast today. I ordered a bubble tea and a strawberry/nutella crepe.
I think they forgot about the crepe since late comers got their waffle balls first and I was half way done with my milk bubble tea which was just okay.
She was careful to use utensils to handle my crepe but my jaw dropped when she used the bottom of...

Ever since my favorite dessert place in Crystal Mall closed down, I thought I would never be able to get my waffle balls again. That is, until I discovered Dessert Dynasty by T&T!
If you don't know what waffle balls are, they're basically like little balls of puff pastry. They mix this egg batter and then put it in a contraption that looks like a waffle-maker with a honeycomb pattern. It gets...
