It was pleasant enough the staff was great, just thought the hotel could use a freshening up seemed old and tired. Probably a very nice place at one time and could be again with some TLC
Stayed two nights for a conference. I was very pleased with the staff and the Hotel amenities.
Hotel was convienitly close to ViaRail Station. TV had a good menu and had a large picture... more
Staff friendly and accomodating at check in, bar and housekeeping.
Was overall good experience, I just didn't like the location of the parking area. It was accross the street and at heavy rain, you come inside soaked. But inside was all more then fine for my standards. It was all properly set up.
I have stayed here before and have always had a good experience.
Convention was at the Hilton which could not compare with the Delta. The staff and overall experience at the Hilton was terrible. Thank goodness we were at the Delta.
Hotel is a little run down. Great location but some fine tuning is much needed. Valet parking took too long. Anything over 15 mins is not good. Rooms are spacious but need a facelift especially washroom and amenities.
The staff was amazing, the rooms were a little outdated. The couches were very old, but the bed was decently comfortable. A little overpriced though
It is the first time that I have visited London city. I stayed in this hotel for 10 days, which is relatively a long time for a small city. In general, i have good impression of this hotel
The room we were given was, unfortunately, on the same floor as a baseball team with rowdy kids and partying parents. We had asked for a quiet room, so I don't know why we were given this room. Apparently, the teams were split up to help keep things quiet...it didn't work. I called to complain, and they moved us to a quiet floor, but my daughter and I had to share the bed, as there were no 2... more
Good, clean, three to four star hotel. Town area a little rough but that's London. Car parking is in a public outdoor car park, $12 per day. Valet parking is indoor and costs $20, so the difference might be worth paying if you worry about your car or it's contents. Pool in the main central lobby is unusual. Rooms good but bathroom dated.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable, good fitness and pool facilities. Every staff member was friendly and went the extra mile to be helpful. Old Armoury location (with attached tower) make this one a bit more interesting than the average nice hotel. Great location on Dundas.
Very pleasant and efficient staff and enjoyable dining choices
It was a pleasure interacting with the staff at Delta. We had an enjoyable stay and our dog did as well.
Overall a decent stay. Everything was clean and presentable in the room. Bathroom area was slightly rough around the edges, but reasonable. Self parking is a block away, and still $15 per night. If you want to pay $20 tip, you can have valet. We didn't My kids were thrilled that there was a small basketball/soccer area in the basement. Made for a good play period. The hot tub was out of... more
Nice hotel to stay in. Just a little pricey. Everything was fine. Pool was a bit toooooooo small.
Good stay, nice staff, great room. I was very pleased.
Our stay was great, the hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. They also have a very nice bar in the hotel and a great indoor pool. The view from our room was great. Overall great service and great stay. Definetly recommend this hotel
The Delta has always been one of my favourite hotels in London. The staff are consistently friendly and profrssional.
From check-in to check-out, the staff were curteous and professional. The valet were fast and efficient! My room was just off the elevator and still very quiet, my room was spacious and that was only a standard double queen. The soaps were lovely and the coffee in the room was great. This will be my go-to place whenever I'm in London because of its central location. Even though it was downtown... more
Friendly staff. Good location. Pretty building. Very convenient and well priced
First time to London.....will stay here again on next visit!
We have a nice stay at the Delta, we were there for our Anniversary and they surprised us with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers, nice touch. Would choice Delta Hotels again.
Sadly, the air conditioning was set so low we could not eat there.
We stayed 3 nights, 4 days, Valet service was an added nice touch of luxury, however self directed parking was option if that was your preference. The whole facility was beautiful like staying in a real castle, lovely pool and hot tub in a picturesque setting, rooms available with Jacuzzi. Staff were very nice even leaving kind personal notes and chocolates on pillow. As well as 2 glasses of... more
They've done a great job converting historic building to very nice hotel, while keeping heritage intact. Second floor is like museum. I'll stay here again.
All was wonderful but I hated how there were about 5 sheets and only 1 thin duvet on the bed!
We were very pleased with our accommodations. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Very nice hotel.Lots of good restaurants close by Within walking distance of Budwieser centre.
Reservation was made but upon arrival room was not available. Upgraded to a suite for free, however, room was outdated. Air conditioner did not work, furniture outdated. Staff were friendly and attempted to make stay as good as possible. Good location for events downtown.
Close to everything! Clean, nice, no such thing as a bad stay at the delta. Aced out with sunfest being on in Victoria block which was 3 blocks away. Casinos a 5 minute drive, Budweiser gardens close by. Hotel staff goes above and beyond to meet all needs.
Enjoyed our stay. I asked to move up to higher floor - receptionist was happy to move up higher, where we had a good view of t he city. Nice restaurants in the area. Don't miss out on visiting the old churches in the area.
Excellent place to stay. Location very central, can walk to many points of interest, lots of great restaurants at hand. Pool/spa/fitness facilities wonderful, though we prefer pool water a notch warmer. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Lobby welcoming, elegant, spacious. Really enjoyed the old walls of the armory. Loved the views from upper floors.
First time in London Ont. Front desk and staff throughout very nice and obliging. The only thing was the dining room was very cold and it made it unpleasant to eat there. I had to go elsewhere for dinners to avoid the cold room. Just turn down the air conditioning a little.
No muss and no fuss. Nice looking on the outside and our room was a basic two queens. We stayed one night and had no problems. Easy to get there from the highway. The staff was friendly and when we called down for a toiletry item it was up in less then 5 minutes. This hotel was recommended to us by a friend that does a great deal of business in London.
I spent a long weekend here and enjoyed the location immensely. I didn't have use the car at all if I didn't want to, as there were lots of restaurants and shops close by. There was an amazing deal that weekend (worked out to less than $100/night) so the general tired-looking state of the room was totally ignored. It was clean and comfortable and spacious, and that was all I needed. The staff,... more
This was our first time in Canada, the staff was helpful with suggestions about what to do in the city.
Location of the Delta London Armoury Hotel is within reach. The vicinity of the hotel has restaurant, banks and shopping mall (covent garden market) nearby, however it is disappointing that the hotel has no parking stalls located inside the hotel. We had to pay $12.00 per day and we had to park our vehicle in a parking lot a block from the hotel. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food.... more
Tiered old hotel. Extremely noisy, very little sound proofing between rooms and halls. Dark rooms made darker with compact florescent bulbs. Toilet didn't flush properly. Other than that it was perfect.
What we enjoyed the most, other than staff, was the hotel's location. We found it to be close enough to the action that we could put the car away and enjoy London's downtown area, yet close enough to the fringe of the activity to not be noisy or too busy to have it feel restful. The room was very comfortable, the view lovely, but some of the furniture looked as though it really needed a rest.... more
Near downtown. Nice hotel, Good location. Good staff. But no free parking and not include any meal.
Was a great hotel, close to where we needed to be. We had a very pleasant stay and all the staff were very helpful and kind.
Be aware if you book with expedia and you have issues as we did the staff can do nothing eg refund . We had a broken shower and due to water of no working toilet, the morning of our daughters graduation. Made a very difficult and uncomfortable situation for us. They did not charge us for our valet parking . That was it. So be aware
I had booked two rooms at delta for my family who were coming in for a very special event to London. We also had two small children with us. I had booked Delta because I want to ensure that my family's stay was comfortable especially with the kids! However, there was a power outage on Friday morning. My sister and family had to take cold showers, there was no power in both the rooms. It was... more
Certainly a unique hotel, apparently converted from an old Armoury building. The expansive and impressive remains are on display throughout the common areas on the main floor, lending character to the restaurant and pool areas. The room was very nice, however due to the structure of the building, the window overlooking the atrium was small and oddly shaped. It was a very loud room too; I... more
i enjoyed this hotel a lot - the basketball courts are a very nice touch, and the restaurant is superb although not cheap. the room was nice, etc. so nice i stayed there for a month, and then one day, one single day, we didn't discuss price and they upped it by 50% over night. lousy cheap skates. all anyone cares about is taking as much money from you as possible, they don't care if you are... more
I had my engagment party at the Delta and it was a great experience! Everyone was very helpful and went way out of their way to help us out. The Staff and everyone was great, Highly recommend for Weddding and other events!
First time staying at this hotel in London and I found it to be comparable to the Downtown Hilton. Service was great, and the exercise room had enough gear. The room I was in on the second floor was a little dated but huge. Food was average and I would probably eat out next time in the area.
Great hotel in a perfect location and fantastic service.
