Friendliest staff ever!

Hotel was clean and staff was very attentive. When I needed a cab the staff called a wheelchair accessible cab without me even asking and it arrived promptly. Sunday brunch was delicious and reasonably priced.

Guelph Delta

Hotel was clean and tidy. Conference room facilities were excellent.

Everything you need for a short stay, staff excellent nothing too much. Breakfast very good selection and large friendly bar area with bar snack menus. No complaints here.

Front desk staff unorganized and very slow at getting us a room. Housekeeping staff walked in our room without even a courtesy knock! Air conditioning unit in room was loud and made our sleep disruptive. Only 2 large towels were supplied, when showering I need a towel for my hair that I can wrap around my head. Overall not a great stay for the money.

Delta is ok

The restaurant was terrible. Recommend you don't eat there. The room was very hastily cleaned each day, not to a high standard. Lobby reception was good and efficient. Overall not what I expected from the Delta chain. Would not stay there again.

In almost all respects the Delta Guelph Hotel was excellent for my trip, from check-in to check-out. My only criticism is, given the rates, to be charged an for open-lot parking. If you drive there (90% of people do) it amounts to an additional tax/shakedown that you're obligated to pay. Very comfortable

They upgraded my room for free because King suites were available. They did the same for some colleagues staying at the hotel as well. Nice comfortable furnishings, a robe, very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Good Choice

Stayed 3 nights recently while attending a family function. Great room, very comfortable bed and excellent service. Staff extremely helpful. Just make sure that if they are hosting any junior sports teams that your room is not on the same floor! There was a lot of visiting going on with conversations in doorways and the hallway.

Very close to University, but quick cab ride to downtown too. Super clean and the staff were so friendly. They went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed - and then some, for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely stay here again - wouldn't even shop around.

We stayed here twice this month and I really like this hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They even brought tea and soup up to the room for one of my coworkers who was sick. The bar also has the best mojitos I have ever had. Would definitely stay here again business or pleasure.

Great Boutique hotel

The Delta Guelph is the only hotel we stay at when in town...which is often.
The service is great as is the property. On our most recent stay we brought both our dogs! They were just as welcome as we were!
There is always a special rate that makes it worth staying there.

Accessible Heritage suite

My 95year old father in law needed accessible accommodations to be able to travel to Guelph to be with our family at Christmas. He had the Heritage suite that was accessible and it was excellent. It was very comfortable with the benefit of a sitting area with fireplace and lots of windows.

Very comfortable stay

The bed was very comfortable, room was clean..my only little complaint witch is minor are the pillows.; they were to hard for my liking since I am a belly sleeper. There should be soft pillow available in each room as well..other than that no complaints wathsoever.

This is the nicest hotel in Guelph. It is extremely quiet, clean and has modern decor, bathroom and bedding and excellent bed. Windows that open, and have screens. We liked it

Front desk attendant was very polite. Personalized service..he knew my name and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean. Very comfortable beds. The only complaint witch is minor was the pillows: they were to hard since I'm a belly sleeper..other than that ..no complaints whatsoever.

Girls Night

The room was super nice and the bed was very comfortable. Drinks at the bar were pretty expensive but the bartender was very friendly. The front desk did have issues viewing that I prepaid and this has happened before at other hotels. I'm not sure why that is however they were able to get it resolved. I would defiantly stay here again.

Hard to Sleep

Very nice hotel but the through the wall heaters were so loud it was impossible
to get a good nights sleep. They kept walking me up.
Also happened to a colleague who was there at the same time.

Nice hotel to much noise!!!!

There was a wedding and people were partying until 5:00am right next to my room !!! In the hall way and using discusting language , and I know they were responsible for setting off the alarm system!!!! That put everyone in the parking lot for an hour!!!! Best choice to live in Guelph

The hotel is very nice. With 1 minute walking distance to the University of Guelph. The Stone Road mall is also within waling distance. Nice place. But be sure not to choose a room facing the Stone Road; otherwise the street noise may be loud during busy hours.

Our stay was just what we needed and wanted. Good size room. Clean. Fridge and micro wave. Free wifi. Good breakfast and most of all free use of the gym and pool on the compound. This is a nice hotel, but a little lacking in character. It gives you a comfortable night'ssleep, but little else. Kind of pricey for the location. I can't believe that parking was not free. we stay regularly at this hotel and we always feel very well attended. Rooms are nice and clean, you get to use the gym next door which is a very good one and not and small warm and dark room like those you generally find. definitely a good option in the area!

Good stay in Guelph

I was only there for one night, and was upgraded at the hotel's initiative to a nice suite on the 6th floor. Free Wi-fi worked very well. I had an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and a good breakfast.

Deception in Advertising.

The suite rented was a problem. The sitting room was very small, and totally inadequate for dining. The photos shown on their advertising were very deceptive and misleading.

Frustration

Unfortunately the first set of keys given to me did not work. After returning to the lobby for a second set of keys, they gave me a different room, and they did not work. On the third try a hotel waiter came up with me but my third set worked. A little frustrating.

AMAZING Deluxe room - WOW

This room was absolutely amazing. There's a little living room and the bedroom is separate. A mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc.... It was amazing. Had the opportunity to stay in this hotel while on business in Guelph. The hotel was within walking distance from my place of business. Nice rooms and good service. The restaurant has a good buffet breakfast and nice food for dinners as well. Worth the stay.

Overall very nice. Only issue was that our room faced the hotel's conference center building, and there was a wedding going on that night. Overall the Hotel is nice but be warned if you have children under 12 they will not be allowed in the pool.

great area for where i needed to be

I was there for the reason that my daughter, was wrestling for the Olimpic trials at the University of Guelph. Its a rewarding experiance for me to have shared this trip with her, she stayed behind for the wrestling camp that is followed after ther matches on Sunday, she should return home on Friday July 9th.
