Food is good although prices are a bit high. Definitely located in a beautiful part of Fredericton though.
This resort hotel, built only in 1992, occupies a prime location on the river about a 10-minute walk from downtown via the riverfront pathway. In summer, life revolves around an outdoor pool (with its own poolside bar) on a deck overlooking the river. Sundays the lobby is taken over by an over-the-top brunch buffet. Though obviously up to date, the Delta's interior is done with classical... more
We had our wedding on the side lawn, July 12, 2014. It was perfect! A beautiful location, with the river in the background. Our reception was held in ballroom A. The food and staff were incredible. We wouldn't change a thing. Special thanks to delta staff, including Emily, our personal wedding consultant and Mindy, the chef. They did a fantastic... more
We loved our 4 night stay here fromm July 8-12. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. The fitness room was well equipped and we used it several times. We ate at " The Catch" and also had a private catered dinner at the hotel. At both venues, the food was very good. We enjoyed the short... more
NIce patio around the pool area facing the river. Burger, wings, nachos on the pool are worth it. Do not go for the hotel's restaurant. Much too expensive for overcooked rice and samon! I stayed here from from July 4th to the 6th. River Jam weekend. It was raining so they moved River Jam inside. Packed inside and out. Guests of the hotel couldn't find parking onsite as a result. Then Saturday the power went off and stayed off for the duration off our stay. I understand that the staff of the Delta... more
Stayed one night for business, rooms were well appointed the unlimited wired and wifi internet and multiple desk plugs are really appreciated, beds were comfortable and views of the river are relaxing. Only lost marks are for average water pressure.
Spent the day at the pool as a guest of the hotel and I was very disappointed with the service. I had to bring down my own chair as all the loungers were occupied by the young local residents. I waited over 1 hour for the server Rob to ask me if I wanted a drink. Every time he came... more

This was a really nice hotel. Great pool area with lots of seating, tables and a bar area to have a nice clod one under the sun. From the greeting at the front desk on arrival, less than two minute check in and greeted by a really nice room attendant outside my room, it was an "A"One experience from start to finish. Love this hotel.

We spent the day at the Delta lounging by their pool and had a great lunch overlooking the river and exceptional drink service from Chelsie. It's a great way to spend a sunny day and on Saturdays they have a DJ playing in the afternoon. Feels like a Carribean resort!
We stayed here for three nights on a business trip in June 2014. The meeting rooms and the hotel rooms were very nice and the view of the river was fantastic. This hotel is not in the downtown area and it is situated in a very quiet spot along the river. We enjoyed the lunch buffet in the restaurant and... more
The room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, Location was good , close to shopping and a walk to most things. restaurants near by and the waterfront is close enough to enjoy a stroll or look at the cruise ships when they come
We enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Delta in July. The service was wonderful, and rooms comfortable. We had just two complaints: we were on the front-facing side of the hotel with the air-conditioning system on the roof in front of us. It was *very* noisy - it sounded like planes landing all night long. Spring for a riverside room... more
Beautiful view of the St. Jean River, screened windows that open which is a much welcome alternative to AC, well-stocked shop in the lobby, great restaurant and pool bar and friendly front desk staff. Now that I am staying in the Delta Halifax, which is poorly run and shabby by comparison, I appreciate the Delta Fredericton even more.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Fredericton in New Brunswick - July 9th, 2014. The last time I stayed there was over 8 years ago and they have done a wonderful renovation. The lobby is inviting and the restaurant outside on the deck was awesome. Loved the view and the staff were pleasant and accommodating.
Delta Fredericton is very clean and great hotel. It is conveniently located in downtown. Don't forget to walk the beach. It has an outdoor pool too. We asked for 2 Qeen beds as it was my son and I on the road trip. We found the place very comfortable.
From check-in to check-out & everything in between the Delta Fredericton is nothing but top notch. It's always remarkably clean with nothing out of place! The front desk is very accommodating, housekeeping staff warm & friendly, wait staff efficient & courteous while the hotel management is helpful and out-going in a way we've never seen elsewhere. Very nice modern hotel. Great place for business or pleasure. My wife and I stayed 5 nights, I was on business and she enjoyed the hotel. Service...unbelievable. I've paid thousands $$ to go south for the winter but I found the BEST service NORTH...the Delta Fredericton.
Accommodations, pools, restaurants are top notch. The bar and service at the pool is what will keep me coming back.
Cheers!
The reservation personnel over the phone was smart enough when knew that this was our first stay in the hotel to notify the reception desk staff to upgrade to a better room. He even went through the trouble to find us a better deal when I expressed that the offered rate was above our budget.

We went for a friend's wedding in July and it had been our first time back to this hotel in a few years. The renovations that have been done to the hotel are both beautiful and functional. Stayed one night as part of an organized tour after a long coach ride from Boston. The hotel is a typical, undistinguished, Delta property, which is not a bad thing. This is my fourth stay at the Delta Fredericton with my boyfriend and I have to say that each time we have been thoroughly pleased with our stay. The pool area was excellent as was Catch. Elmer who was serving at the pool was really great. He was very friendly and recommended some local beers that were very good. Ashlee at Catch was also great and did a great job with our dinner service.

Nice hotel; the nicest Delta I have been to. The location is fantastic; it overlooks the Saint John River.
Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and modern. The restaurants are ok - there is a up-scale restaurant and a pub; both of which use the same kitchen. Food is good, slightly expensive (to be expected), but both have VERY slow service.

I would like to see breakfast included with the room, but not over

more then anyone would pay for breakfast. When you are on a business

do include breakfast.
At the reception, we were receiced with a nice women offering us a small glass of wine and finger food

perhaps an oversite of my own...I didn't ask and nobody said there were rooms that pets were not allowed. I would have chosen such a room upon booking. Though my room was very clean, it disgusts me to think an animal was in the bed i was sleeping in!

Everything was all OK.
If I could give it no stars I would. First the rooms were old and outdated. What's worse though was that there were blood stained sheets in my bed. I have never been so disgusted in my life. The staff were inconsiderate and didn't even give me an proper apology. I would recommend to anyone that is thinking about staying there to reconsider beacuse it's not worth it.
I really liked the dining services, the staff was very courteous and friendly. I went on a conference and there were more than 150 people, yet everything went very smoothly. Only thing I was a little concerned about is that I am a vegetarian and there was no good dishes in veggie. But that might be because not many vegetarian people go there.
My parents hosted my graduation party in the royal suite. We had a desert party and everything went off without a hitch. I have traveld a lot and this suite was the nicest i have ever been in. The staff is very courteous and the cusine at Bruno's it second to none. I would highly recomend the Delta Hotel to anyone.
It's a great hotel, but splurge and get the riverview room. The hotel backs on to the Saint John River and the view is beautiful. The higher the floor the better.
The pool is nice, but tends to get overrun with kids between 9am and noon. The restaurant is ok, but if you're there during the summer, eat out on the patio (same chef, same food, half the price . . . I don't know why)
