We were there for two days and no one ever even came to offer fresh towels or clean the room. They offered free wifi but we never got it and even though we called their IT people, we still never got it. We certainly expected more and were very disappointed.

After Surgical Stay

We had eye surgery at the Kensington Eye Clinic the hotel was closed by. There was easy access to a variety of food services, the old Eaton Centre was great for a walk without having to be outside in the cold!

booked 2 rooms and one smelt bad of smoke but once you were in it for awhile you got used to it. Overall the room was ok and the beds were really comfortable which made it a plus.

The over all experience of my stay was good. The only complaint I have is the TV was hard to operate.

Hotel was nice, in a good location. Pretty basic but clean rooms, had a nice pool/workout area with view of CN Tower. Only stayed two nights but would stay again as the price was good when compared to other options in the area. Rooms were dated, but clean. Lots of restaurants in the area, close to businesses or tourist attractions depending on what you're visiting for.

Excellent customer service

We stayed 3 nights, we required a cot and mini fridge. Those items were brought immediately to us. Day 1 our room was cleaned immaculately. We could tell that there was an extra effort put into the cleaning and our personal items were pleasingly placed. We will be booking again for this annual event we attend.

Cozy...for gatherings of 1,000 or more.

The largest hotel in Canada has a lobby comparable to an airport terminal; perfect if you're gathering with 1,000 or more close friends. The Eaton Chelsea made me feel lost in a vast fading empire of aged and dirty brass (the elevators, ugh!), un-vacuumed stairwells and peeling wallpaper. I applied my own elbow grease to suspicious bathroom stains and dusted long-ignored surfaces.

Great central location

The hotel provided everything I needed for a short stay. The room had a balcony with great view of downtown Toronto. Bed was comfy and coffee facilities and bathroom toiletries were good. There was a pub and good restaurants in the hotel but the central location was the best feature.

I'd forgotten how annoying very large hotels can be. Lots of people, had to stand in line for 15 minutes to check in, slow and crowded elevators. The climate control in the guest rooms isn't truly controllable by the guest; I was there in late October, and the AC was turned off in the rooms but temps were much warmer than typical. It was never cool enough in my room. Good location.

Fantastic Very central busy hotel near the Rogers Centre and Eaton Centre for shopping with great helpful staff and popcorn and lemonade at check in. Overall enjoyed the hotel. It is very convenient to the downtown area. So we did easy walking to the area. Only concern was that there was no hold bar in the bath tub. Used to having one convenient for showering. Also no anti slip strips on tub floor.

The Eaton Chelsea was ideally located downtown to everything that you needed. What also made it very gratifying for me is that since I took the Megabus, my concern was that I would get lost in a foreign country & maybe even miss my bus. Not the case. Location - close to hospitals. Delta Chelsea graciously cut the parking fee in half due to being there for a medical appointment.\n\nThe rooms and hallways are SO dated (the 80's are calling; they want their hotel back!). The gentleman who checked me in, offered a queen bed instead of two doubles when he found out I was traveling alone. I had a perfect stay at the Hotel. Great location to everything under the sun in Toronto. The only draw back was that there was not a safe in the hotel room. Nothing went missing, but I still feel certain things belong in a safe.

The hotel is average but very close to everything you may want to do while in DT Toronto. The kids loved the water slide and pool but I was a little skived out by it and wouldn't go in. Made the kids shower as soon as we got back up to the room.

We spent a long weekend with our kids at the Delta Chelsea -- it's a great family hotel. The kids swimming pool and water slide is great and provided for much fun. The hotel restaurants are great. From the moment of courteous check-in, to my stay, to my check-out, my Delta Chelsea experience was enjoyable. The hotel was clean and modern; it was, also, conveniently located in downtown Toronto and easily accessible to restaurants, other attractions, and the Subway Lines.

Nice hotel just off Yonge Street

Very nice hotel, very helpful front desk, we asked for more blankets and towels and got them right away. We had 4 adults and 1 teenager and when we checked in, we were upgraded to a room with a separate sitting area with sofa bed for teen at no extra charge. Pretty good

...but concierge lacked basic information about the location of U of Toronto colleges. At check-in, the clerk was brusque and unhelpful. And at the price, there should have been free wireless throughout the hotel and not just in the lobby. Otherwise fine.

I was recently in Toronto from NYC for the NXNE music festival. My friends and I stayed at the Delta Chelsea for two nights. The hotel itself is nice and clean, as well as the rooms. Great Downtown location. Really Great Breakfast.As one Yelper noted, the lobby is typically quite busy, for whatever reason. The rooms are appointed just over the mark of Very Well. What they advertise is not you get

The Hotel is in a good location but the quality of room was very poor. We booked a supposely Upgraded Deluxe King bedroom but the furniture was well worn with stains on the carpet. Delta Chelsa

This was definitely not the four star hotel that was in the pictures. The lobby and workout areas were great, but the room was less than par. The bathroom was dirty and the floor was sticky feeling. The shower was absolutely filthy. Compared to what I thought I was getting I was completely unsatisfied. I would not stay there again.

The Delta Chelsea is a conveniently located, comfortable hotel with 3 restaurants and 3 bars. The staff is very professional and accomodating. Our stay was very pleasant!

Pretty good hotel for the price

Stayed here for a weekend and got a very good deal on the room. It's hard to complain too much when the price was right, but this is an aging hotel in need of some upgrades. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the lobby was pretty nice with a restaurant and two bars. Nice hotel, great location.

I had a relaxing time staying at this hotel. I didn't have to go far from the hotel for anything I needed as there are shops and restaurants all around. The hotel staff is very friendly and glad to assist you with whatever you need.

nice bang for the buck

The staff was pleasant and friendly. I stayed in an upgraded King room and well worth it. Tight parking garage so be careful and leave your large SUV or truck at home.

Hotel is close to many types of transportation. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. For some reason the hotel eletronically rekeyed our door locks in the middle of our stay. Only the person who the room is registered to may get new keys... not my spouse, even with id. A good stay

I was upgraded to a double room when a single was not available. The room was comfortable and clean and I was relaxed in my time there. I used the pool, the spa, and the sauna. High speed internet was provided at an extra cost of $11.95 a day. It could have been cheaper. The airport bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance. Front Desk

The only thing I was a little disturbed about would be the front desk. It took a while to check-in and even longer to check-out. I was pre-paid, but I had to give my credit card when I checked in and I wanted to be sure that nothing had been added to my card as I had not charged anything.
