I was in Vancouver for an overnight business trip. The Delta Burnaby had a great lounge for a business meeting and a casino to boot. Highly recommend.
We stayed here on a Saturday night. We had to get up at 3:30 am to get to the airport. There were 3 elevators outside the room. With the elevators dinging every time they opened and people talking/fighting no matter what the time, not much sleep was had. We were not aware that it was part of a casino or we would not have stayed there.
I had to visit Vancouver for a family funeral.....the concierge, Pauline, was so compassionate. She left us a note in our room expressing her sentiments for our family loss, and left us a fruit platter. It was a very kind gesture.
Absolutely no complaints. Price was reasonable. Staff was great. Room was great. Restaurant was good.
I usually stay here whenever I'm in Vancouver and enjoy it. However this time the Air conditioning unit was very loud in the room. I got in pretty late and went to bed then the loud sound kicked in. Hardly slept....left pretty disappointed. This is the second time this happened. Last time they moved me to another room but same issue. This time since it was late (after 1:30am) I was just to... more
A beautiful hotel. Provided water in the lobby in the evening. Would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby in the morning. Delta is raising the standard for hotels.
stayed here before not too long ago and each time they had elevator problems. I didn't realize they had a free shuttle service to metro town and Brentwood, frequency is hourly tho. Restaurant is great, Starbucks is only open until early afternoon.
We stay here when I played golf in the 55+ Games in August and it was a great distraction because I was so nervous. Enjoy the luxury of our suite.
Appreciated the Green plan to swap everyday cleaning for meal vouchers. Staff fantastic. Restaurant wonderful!
Nice clean hotel with casino that's open 24hourd. Excellent staff and customer service. Only down side is they don't have a pool and the breakfast is mediocre, nothing special.
Enjoyed our stay and the surrounding restaurants and the casino.
The experience at the Delta Burnaby for our family trip was good other than one night when people who booked in next door created alot of noise late into the early morning, this was comunicated to the staff and they were very appologetic and tried to rectify the situation by saying they would monitor the floor more closely. Other than that bad experience the remainder of the hotel stay was... more
We were upgraded to a premium sweet when we checked in (yay!) and enjoyed the room. Front desk staff were very helpful and very friendly.
Since hotel was far from the center We purchased day pass and used public transport very convenient
Very friendly staff, room was clean Free parking was a bonus
horrendously overpriced, no functional vending machines, no in-house convenience store, rooms not ready at checkin time, rooms small and plain. At least the parking was free
Went to concert at Rogers Arena, rather than staying downtown, where everything is way overpriced we took the 15 minute drive instead. Great hotel, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were so comfy.
Great staff; the pet-friendly rooms were nice but dated. The bathroom wasn't great - very cramped and definitely old
Given that it was a family stay and it is located in an industrial section very little food options close by and most of the restaurants in the hotel could not be accessed by the family. There is a Starbucks but is closes early and no tuck shop. Staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful in helping us to plan our outings
Just an overnight visit. We like this hotel for its affordability and quick access to the north shore. Also if you need to go right into the city it is close to downtown without downtown prices. We have stayed before and find the front desk staff very friendly and we love the complimentary water bottles in the room. Much appreciated! Great hotel!
Me and my newly wed wife came here after our wedding reception and were surprised with a room upgrade upon arriving. We had been moved up to the 20th floor. Entering the room there was a card written by the manager congratulating us. Along with that there were chocolate dipped strawberries and a small bottle of champagne. We were very happy with what they did for us on our special night. The... more
Great staff. Lots of good shops nearby, the casino is awesome as well.
We stayed for 3 nights for a hockey tournament to watch our grandkids. Front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a higher room away from all the kids and noise. The room was great although food services were poor if you were with children as they couldn't use the restaurants in the casino. The only other place to eat was quite expensive and there were no places outside the hotel in the... more
The room was clean and comfortable but it would be nice to have complimentary continental breakfast especially considering the price of the room. also, do not waste your money on the buffet in the casino... more
When we checked into our hotel the front desk clerk (Keisha) asked me what brought us to the hotel. I explained that we were there for our anniversary. Later that day there was a knock on our door and we were presented with a wonderful fruit tray of dipped strawberries, a bottle of champagne and a card!!! Our room was in a very quiet location and was very clean and comfortable. We had our... more
My daughter and I were in Burnaby for her to defend her thesis at SFU. When the server at EBO found out she treated us to an awesome appetizer and the hotel treated us to the most amazing dessert. A chocolate ball full of goodies. Everyone was very gracious and congratulatory and my daughter felt extremely special. Sarah did an amazing job of making us feel like we were the most important... more
The staff were wonderful. They were very accomodating to my needs!
If you don't need to be in the midst of the hustle and bustle of downtown, this is a great spot. Free parking, big nicely remodeled rooms, great staff and connected to several mainlines into the city. It's only a 10-15 minute ride downtown and there are several great places to eat and shop in between the hotel and downtown.
was awesome too notch everything except bathroom amenities...big deal right
It was short but all we needed - Starbucks could open earlier my only complaint
Great stay as usual at this hotel. This stay happen to be my birthday and although I stayed in for the night, I had a knock on the door with a Happy Birthday piece of cheesecake and some bubbly. It was a great end to my birthday!
I am a traveller, and i would rate this hotel as one of my top 5 stays not just because of location but service and everything they had to offer. A must stay place.
Great stay close to my office. Internet was much too slow and would not allow me to send emails.
What a beautiful hotel!!!! My husband and I were up for a wedding and stayed 4 nights. We loved every minute of it. The location was very convenient to reach Vancouver and Surrey since it was right off the freeway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to everything we asked. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was amazing. The best part was the Casino off the 2nd... more
The food was fantastic, Sarah in the restaurant was an amazing server. Lovely hotel, would stay here again.
My second time staying at this hotel, both experiences have been great. The rooms have sufficient space to work.
It was a nice hotel, good price, clean room, good service food is ok. I cant believe there was no swimming pool! My daughter really likes pool.I didnt check in the brochure if there was a swimming pool, other than that is was a nice weekend at Canada,
High quality hotel. Staff are well trained, personable and helpful. Enjoyed our short stay.
Had some business at BCIT and chose this as a close location. Very nice facility, but feels like you're in the center of an industrial park. Very long walk to restaurants and stores. Nice and clean.
I have stayed at the Delta Burnaby frequently on business, as my work is nearby. The service has always been excellent, but on my last stay the staff went above and beyond. I had my wife and 2 year old daughter with me for one night as we were house hunting for our future move to Vancouver. The staff gave... more
My wife and I were on a mini 6 day vacation without a real plan, we were tired of driving and came across the Delta in Burnaby, it was awesome the service was excellent the room were clean and well appointed and the food was delicious, the price was fair and I would return here without question. the beds were... more
A very nice hotel. All staff we encountered have been amazingly friendly and helpful, including in the restaurant. (Food there was amazing too). Even though it seems like a business hotel, they were really accommodating of our toddler and even gave her a gift bag at check in. We slept on the side away from the highway and it was... more
We stopped between camping experiences and the break was enhanced by the smooth professional behavior of the front desk staff. We needed a baggage cart which was produced quickly and retrieved afterward by a bellman. The hot tub was very clean and empty except for us. Parking was across the street at the casino and easy to get to. We... more
The in-room air-condition was so loud and much noisy in both of our two rooms at 26th floor, we complained to the front desk receptionist on the second morning, their responses was all the rooms are the same, and all they did was provided us a fan. We did not have a good rest in all three nights. Also the... more
Due to a closure of Hwy 1 our 4 hour drive from the Okanagan was actually 8 hours. Upon arrival were greeted by very welcoming and accommodating hotel staff. This is one fantastic hotel. I can't really find one negative thing about it. The location is very convenient. It is about 20-30 mins from major Vancouver attractions and also has a bunch of places to eat/shop within close driving distance. The property is very posh looking. The lobby was very welcoming. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. The... more
Everything here has been great from the time we checked in we have been made to feel comfortable by all the staff and the service has also been great. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable and haven't had an issue waiting for a elevator. Looking forward to trying out the hot tub tonight:)
We stayed at this hotel for three nights in our visit to Vancouver from California. Clean, modern room, with a lot of light made our stay enjoyable.
We were on the twentieth floor with access to the lounge (breakfast and hors d'oeuvres). We watched worldcup football games with breakfast, which made it more interesting! I wish the hors d'oeuvres hours...

Stayed at the Delta Burnaby last week and was neither overwhelmed, nor underwhelmed.
This particular Delta is what you would come to expect from the brand. Nice, clean rooms, with friendly staff.
The only thing that was a BIG nuisance was the fact that one of the elevators was still out of service. Being that my room was situated on...

Not sure a hotel of this class should have these areas of improvement. Casino has character but bar menu belongs at a 2 star hotel not the Delta. Hotel is too busy to afford a 3 day elevator problem. Had to wait a couple of minutes at times... more
I came in from the USA for a weekend business meeting. I received a very good rate (CAN$109.) The staff were friendly, service prompt. The meeting room and food were also very good. There are plenty of dining options. One thing I appreciate in a hotel is good Wi-Fi and the ability to stream with my own HDMI cable Netflix,... more
We stayed there for a weekend getaway. The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. Overall good value for the money. The only downside was poor sound insulation. We heard people walking and talking from the corridor and from neighboring rooms.
Stayed here for the first time for a conference. Was very impressed when I called for a wake up call they suggested I book a wake up call for 15 minutes later just in case. It turns out the just in case was a great idea. The wireless internet was decent. I did notice it would slow down and seem... more
The location is easy to find, right off the highway. I was very pleased with the level of customer service at the front desk. I called down for room service and they did not answer. We stayed for one night at this hotel, complimentary due to a convention we were attending. The location is excellent, right off the freeway. The hotel parking is an issue, we had to park away as so many people making use of the attached casino filled up the parking lot. Not a huge issue, just a little irritating? The hotel... more
I was there on business - it was fantastic - first class all the way - Ekta at the front desk was super helpful and pleasant - there was no feeling like they were trying to save a buck anywhere - valet was the way to go - I could have stayed longer.
We were recommended to stay at this place by a Canadian friend. We went up for my husband to attend a meeting, and for me to have a place to stay and have some fun while he was busy. The rooms were lovely, and the lobby area was very pretty. We asked for a "room with a view" at a... more
We spent one night at the Delta Burnaby to celebrate my inlaws 75th birthdays and we cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Even though I stayed for just one night in this hotel during a business trip to Burnaby, I'd rate this hotel as one of the nicest in the area. Wasn't my first choice to stay for business, but was surprised how quiet the rooms were. The check in was effortless with the staff being very friendly and informative.

The room we had was small, yet updated and very clean. Although our room faced the highway, there was no noise. The service as far as check-in, bellpersons & cleaning staff was excellent. Hadn't stayed at a Delta in many years so I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. Service was friendly and accommodating. I was also unexpectedly upgraded to the signature lounge level, which included a private lounge for complimentary evening hors d'oeuvres and also a small breakfast buffet.
My wife and I had a special date night and we love staying at the Burnaby Delta. The service is great and the Casino provides an exciting vibe. We discovered the band and the dancing at the back of the casino. The band was great and we danced like there was no tomorrow. We really had a blast. We have... more
I was not looking forward to much going here, having stayed at different Delta's across Canada. Delta Hotels always seem to be kind of tired and worn out, frayed at the edges, not always too clean, and outdated like those McDonalds that still look the same from 30 years ago. This was very different! Maybe because it's newer or attached... more
Spent a night at Delta NYE (no drinking & driving please!) and was quite impressed. The place has been completely revamped in the recent years, which makes it an excellent choice to stay in Burnaby. A staff person made our stay here go from good to great. The hotel is nicely furnished with good views on the higher floors. We stayed here in December for one night, hotel has been totally renovated into a resort. Access from Highway one is good, free parking (unless use the valet), Walk through into a large casino. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, excellent staff.
I stayed 3 nights at this Delta. The found the heating unit to be noisy (turning on, fan, and then quiet). I explained this to customer service and they accommodated me by offering to switch rooms. Party on the patio a few floors below my room limited my sleep and my enjoyment of an excellent property. Terrible review site though when it requires you to waste yours and the readers time with a minimum number of characters. STUPID!!
My wife and I were at the Delta Burnaby for three nights in October 2013. Recently I visited Vancouver,BC and decided to stay at this place, which is a 4* hotel and cheaper compared to lot of hotels in downtown Vancouver.
I can say it was a great decision, staff is friendly and hotel is very clean
A nice clean hotel, with extremely helpful and courteous staff who made the effort to go the extra mile for their guests. Quick check-in, and check-out, free parking, free wifi. The meals both at conference, in the hotel restaurant and room service were excellent, hot and quick.
The hotel is short drive from Vancouver, by car or the Sky train. There is a free parking right across the street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Used this hotel for a quick stopover. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, parking free in attached garage and easy to find. We placed a bid on Priceline for a hotel and were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were. The rooms were large, very clean and had very comfortable beds. The hotel was a 20 minute walk from the skytrain station to Vancouver. A couple of great restaurants were close by, as well.
We enjoyed our one night stay here. The hotel offers all you need for a great night's sleep. Customer service was excellent! Location is a bit out of the way but with gps you can easily find it and it is well worth your drive. Treat yourself to valet service! Loved it!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Check in was easy, bell hop was there every step of the way to assist us. Walter at the front desk is exceptional! Beautiful hotel, excellent service and a casino too! One of the best hotels I have stayed in for business.
A beautiful fully renovated hotel in Burnaby with easy access to the freeway. Tastefully decorated guest rooms and plenty of meeting room space for groups of all sizes. The EBO Restaurant offers a Pacific West Coast menu with something for everyone. The Casino is just an added plus!
“What I look for in a hotel. Friendly staff, clean, well kept up. Attention to detail.”
“We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Finding free parking was the most difficult thing we had to deal with, especially our last night. We got the very last parking space outside. That would have been fine except for the pouring rain. However, it didn't dampen out spirits. We had a great time in Burnaby.”
Great business hotel. Spent 3 nights here recently. Comfy beds, LCD TV, above average restaurant. Being attached to a casino doesn't hurt.
“Pleasant hotel with friendly staff and excellent restaurant.”
“Great customer service. Close to the Transcanada highway. The rooms were very clean and reasonably spacious. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast was expensive but the serving size was huge.”
“No underground parking was a minus, but there was plenty of parking. It was clean and I had no problem finding it. Large hotel rooms was a plus.”
“We were disappointed that we did not receive the continental breakfast, and also that there was not a shuttle bus to and from the airport.”
