This was an awful experience, the staff was rude, our room was not what we reserved online, it was very outdated, the plugs were all loose. The pool was awful, the dirty liner was loose all round the tiny pool, it was just an overall bad experience.

Great stay my 3rd time here highly recommended. Staff is great, Brian at the bar is the best, if I owned a bar would steal him away. Room was great, staff fantastic. As a platinum member you can't go wrong. Look forward to next trip to this fun city.

Great except extreme few parking at checkin

Great hotel, hard working staff, except for valet parking. The 4 car slots in front of hotel were occupied on arrival on Thurs 3 pm, and did not change during 20 minutes of going round hotel in busy downtown streets. Sent passenger into hotel to complaint and get cleared, which they promply did. Makes the $25 Cad valet fee hard to swallow. Exit next day however was smooth.

Nice property!

We ended up being stranded in Halifax for an additional night. And for a last minute reservation this turned out to be a fantastic property. Free wifi and a pool for families like ours. Their restaurant was an affordable option without having to leave the property which also had espresso! Yay! Thank you Delta Barrington for a wonderful night's stay!

Nice hotel close to the Scotia Bank Centre

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was it was way to hot in our room and it didn't have air conditioning so we couldn't cool the room down. It was very quiet as in you couldn't hear the other guests in their room from our room.

When I got to my floor the key card did not work and I had to schlep my bags all the way back down to get it fixed. They were good enough to go back up with me though.Some Rooms could do with a bit of sprucing up. Have stayed many times and some getting a bit tired looking but people very friendly and rms very clean.

The hotel was comfortable but still dated. Window on floor 3 was small; no fresh air. No grab bar in shower, no night lights, really soft pillows that did not support neck, old uncomfortable chair, no fan in washroom. Staff were quick and friendly.

Best Staff ever

This hotel had some of the best staff I have ever seen. I work in a customer service environment and have not seen it put to the level as they do at the Delta Barrington. Everyone from receptionist, bell hop, restaurant, were the most pleasant and went out of their way to make sure our trip was enjoyable. And the facilities were very good.

Close to everything but no parking!!

Hotel was OK, not as clean as I would of like, think they did a fast job. The worst part was the parking, horrible there's none so they have to park your car so every time you want to leave need to wait until they go get it, when we left we waiting 45mins for our car. Chlorine and snow

we where given a room next to the swimming pool. The room and bedding reeked of chlorine. We paid $25.00 plus tax and tip for valet parking. When we asked for the car it showed up covered in snow and ice. Had we know it would be left out we would have parked in a local covered parking deck for $8.00. Very inconvenient!
