consistently good food always a line up

Every time I work in Nanaimio BC I have to go to Delicado's. There is very little seating so sometimes I'm forced to go with my choices but there are some great choices. It's really not easy to find good mexican food in Vancouver or on the Island and this is my to go place.

Always a line up

Every time I go to the North end location there is a line up. This is not because they are always busy it is because of the SLOW service. Avoid this location at all costs and go to the downtown location.

Great spot for unique wraps, and tasty salads

Great food and fast service

I loved the spicy food at Delicados Nanaimo (downtown). A nice patio area to sit and eat your wrap. Lots of healthy choices. Prices average for the area.

Mexican salads, & more alway served with a smile

a must stop every once in a while ..delicious salads everything made fresh daily.
2 great locations one pictured is located in the Old Quarter of Nanaimo..the other location is in the north end of Nanaimo near BCAA across from Homedepot..both locations offer the same great food.

Delicious

Delicado's is seriously probably one of my absolute favourite places to eat in Nanaimo. The food is amazingly fresh and delicious and tastes REAL! From the variety of different freshly made salads to the superb wraps I am NEVER disappointed when I eat at Delicado's.

Yummy

The food is fresh, quite authentic! The only thing is that it has become such a busy place and a little expensive.

Never disappoints

We have had many, many meals at Delicado's on Aulds Rd. and we have always been happy with our experience. The quality of the food is consistent, and we enjoy the atmosphere, small but cozy.
The ingredients are fresh and there is a choice of salads and additions to the enchiladas and wraps.

Way over Priced!!! for beans and totillas

asked for mild, have an ulcer, food was overall terrible consisting of refried beans and a totilla, overall experience , terrible, rip-off

huge price.....small portions

i have been to delicados several times. line ups are long, and food is expensive! avg meal costs $15.00 here! the chefs are VERY conservative with their meat and cheese (hope you like filling up on corn and black beans). Perhaps i have been spoiled going to Gina's mexican cafe so often....best mexican food in nanaimo!!!

Great Mexican food

Of the two Nanaimo locations, Wesley Street is far closer to a true Mexican experience. Food is delicious, service is good, though the layout is a bit crammed and it can take a while to get served. Highly recommended.

Good food with long wait

The food is great, light mexican food. But it's not really a place to stop and grab something, the staff are ok and the food is good but not my first choice.

Very average

Had the Californian wrap and it was boring.. Lacking flavor. Staff was friendly but it takes forever to get just a wrap with only a few orders ahead of mine. Won't be rushing back !

Good food

Good mexican type food, much of it is quite healthy.
Good place in my opinion if your in the mood for a semi quick mexican lunch.

Best Tex Mex

The food here is fantastic made fresh to order,roll-ups and salads are fresh tasty and delicious,the flavours are addictive it is food you will crave over and over again .You can even get a Mexican beer to go with your mexican food.Seating is limited but worth the wait,or just take it home to enjoy.

southwest chicken wrap and salads all the way! Takes a while to get sometimes but well worth the wait. the salads are amazing and everything is very healthy! minus salad dressings. love the medium + hot sauce . creamy and spicy! perfecto!

Always great food in a fun atmosphere

The salads and entrees are made fresh on-site and are really great. The servers are efficient and friendly. The funky atmosphere makes it a fun place to go.

Great wraps, a bit different than anywhere else

Delicado's is my guilty pleasure, and I will sometimes sneak a lunch out by myself here.
The prices aren't cheap by any means, but the food is fresh, and different than other restaurants. It is sort of a cross between a fast-food restaurant and a cafe, with Mexican inspired dishes including my favorite wrap - the Californian (medium, with chicken).... more

Great food, but lengthy wait

Ordered two wraps for take-out. Took 50 minutes to get our food. The wraps were not very satisfying after that lengthy wait.

Great food

I always get the chicken & bean rollup (medium plus) and I've never been disappointed. I moved away from Nanaimo but everytime I come home I stop in for a rollup.

Fresh and cheerful

Not much to say about this place other than fast food that is consistently fresh and tasty. Small and busy dining room with some cool decor touches. Delicado's tends to attract mainly young crowds or those who want to feel young.

Consistently delicious!!! Delicado's is

Consistently delicious!!! Delicado's is becoming my favorite place to eat. California roll-ups are my favorite. At times it can get busy, and food may take a while but I don't mind waiting.

Great wraps

Fantastic wraps here, the southwestern will blow your mind... just watch the hotsauce!
I like hot food but take their warning seriously... the triple xxx hot will put down the staunchest heat fiend! Beyond that, they know what they're doing and have awesome food on a limited menu that is just big enough!

Grab a burrito form this place if you're hungry for a quick and cheap fill. They have a wide selection of fillings (ie beef, chicken, seafood, spiced meat veggie plus more) and they fill it up with fresh veggies. Mmm and you can have a cold one to go with it AND sit out on a hot patio if you want. Great place to go hang with a few friends on a hot evening.
