Most of the items we ordered appeared to be hurriedly thrown together using pre-made frozen ingredients. Service was courteous. Taste/Presentation of the food and ambience need a lot of work. Not worth the $$.
Amazing service, pakoras were fresh and delicious with an incredible hum of Ginger. Chana masala is spiced to perfection. Butter chicken was rich and creamy. But the garlic naan was by far the star. I would make the 2 hour drive just to have it again. It was made fresh, had air pockets, crispy and flaky outside and perfectly chewy... more
food was fantastic, serving staff was very friendly and disciplined, as per my opinion a grate Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls
Went on a Thursday night
Food was average to below average, service was so, so. Asked for mineral water but got normal spring water. They say "pint" of beer but they actually serve you a small 333ml beer. The butter chicken was a little too heavy on the tomato paste. lamb biryani was ok, but lamb was a little too...

This was probably one of the WORST indian restaurants, that I've ever been to. The food was disgusting, the cauliflower was watery and spicy, and the food looked stale and cold, and most of the food bins, were empty, as if they were running out of food. The food that was there in the buffet, was simply not the kind of... more

I was there on last weekend, ordered tandoori chicken and Chicken tikka masala and naan, tandoori chicken was cooked well and reminded me the flavour of punjab(truley the punjabi style) Chicken tikka masala was also very good and the naan were best. Kunal our server was quite informative described us how they keep things authenticated in the restaurant. Good job... more
This review is for Delhi Darbar Restaurant, Clark Ave, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Usually I don't write reviews, but this particular restaurant (service and food) has prompted me to write few words of caution for future visitors. I was there during the Christmas of 2009. Rather than narrating, let me be straight to the points:
1. On the website, it says...

Following on the other reviews, we decided to give Delhi Darbar a try. The location is a bit tucked away. It's not inaccessible by any means - it's within walking distance of Clifton Hill and there's free parking, but it's still off the beaten path and you wouldn't just happen upon it going from Tourist Point A to Tourist Point... more
I went to this restaurant last week on my own, the food was amazing!!!!
As someone else said don't be put off by the outside, the food and the staff are lovely.
Coming from the UK this is the best Indian food since coming here.
Clifton Hill is a nightmare to get through on a Saturday night, drunk tourists everywhere and so many flashing lights you would think they were competing with Vegas. Niagara has seemed to forgotten they have the biggest waterfall in the world.
Anyway, the service was exceptional, and the food was amazing. Don't let the funny exterior dissuade you. This place...

After eating a lot of mediocre, over-priced food in the Niagara Falls tourist area, it was a pleasure to discover this tasty lunch buffet. We were doted on from the minute we walked in. The food (a lamb dish, a chicken dish, and several vegetarian dishes) was fresh, colorful and aromatic. The naan bread was hot and very good. The... more

If you are looking delicious indian food this is the place. Place is clean servers are very hospitable and the chef is fantastic. Food has authentic indian taste or I will say authentic North Indian, Naan were the best "fresh baked straight from tandoor on the table" as per our server. I will recommend this to every one
We just ate here on July 30th while visiting Niagara and it was really good. Both my husband and I ate the buffet and it was well worth the 11.99 CD(dinner) price compared to what we were paying at other places in the area, ouch! The food was fresh and tasty and thought the place was very clean. The staff... more
I have been visiting Niagara Falls at least twice every year since last 5 or so years and always was in search for good Indian food.
