I'm rating this based on about five visits to the Chrome Showroom for the AYCE prime rib and seafood... but for real, who isn't going for the AYCE Crab? This was a well kept secret for a long time, but I think word has spread and now they've bumped up the price of this from $31 to almost $36! Bought tickets to the new years concert and buffet. Concert was excellent and the food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone. They are constantly bringing in bands I enjoyed listening to in the past.

An OK place to stay but not a WOW one...

I was there for business (second time, same room). The hotel,parking lot gets full early because of the casino and the only way in is through the main entrance. So you often have to walk quite a lot even if there are doors close to where you are oarked as they are emergency doors only. We should be able to use them with our access card. Standard Business Hotel

A clean comfortable place, but not close to inter city bus, like Red Arrow. This is one of a few hotel choices our company deals with, so those of us not driving have to taxi it to/from the hotel and the bus system. No other restaurants or fast food places close by - but hotel food amenities are good.

Close to the eye surgeon and casino of course.

Front desk were very helpful as I just had eye surgery and could not read. Small bar and grill staff were just as helpful.

Very good experience all around!

I was mostly disappointed in the housekeeping aspect of this hotel. We left our room before 8:00 am and didn't return until about 2:45 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. The cleaning cart was down at the other end of the hallway so our room wouldn't have been done until much later. So, our room didn't get done at all. We had to come back at that time to get ready to go out for dinner.

Overpriced drinks

Find the drinks at six bucks for a high ball (short glass) expensive! The casino itself is nicely done up and the lounge inside has a great band. Staff all friendly. Find the girls who dance on the tables not really needed.

I had no problems or issues with the room-everything was good. I was surprised to not be awoken or disturbed despite being located near the elevator and the view was nice. I'd stay here again although I wish the price was more reflective of casino hotel prices rather than Calgary hotel prices.

Great Place. Always accomodating

Was pleasantly surprised, rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was good, but there was a finger smudge on my dinner plate and at the breakfast buffet people were wiping their plates off to get rid of a soap film kind of disappointing given the price of the dinner. Hall carpets could've used a vacuum but it was a busy weekend.

I confess to being endlessly surprised by the caliber of musicians this place attracts. Presumably enough people attend to keep this place going, but I've yet to find a worse venue. It's a banquet hall with truly awful acoustics.

I will more than happily spend more to see any of these bands ... anyplace else!

Just finished a lacrosse tournament for our kids and stayed at Deerfoot for our first time. Absolutely excellent experience. Team was treated so well. Quite depressing and in a time warp

I've stayed here for two or three nights on each of two business trips and the hotel was chosen purely for the convenience of the location as it's near to my work place. The Class Act Dance Festival brings us back to the Deerfoot Inn every year for the last four years. I have always found the hotel clean and comfortable; the staff friendly and helpful and the pool is great. A few bothersome things this year included:

Hubby and I were on a weekend trip away from home, a mix of business and pleasure. Being that this was an adult getaway we figured why not have a room attached to a casino?

I am used to Vegas too much me thinks - I am used to playing/gambling and drinking for free! Not the case here - the drinks get costly ($6 for a beer plus tip) but the casino is not bad! You get a 3 star kinda Ballys feel for the place when you walk in, more Vegas-y than other casinos in the city. Machines are tight of course! These places were built to make $!

Come for the Crab and Prime rib buffet on Fridays! So amazing and if you have a casino card you get a discount on your meal. Service for drinks can be a bit slow sometimes. I'm not a gambler so the VLTs don't interest me but they also have a martini bar if your loved one wants to play poker and you'd rather relax with a nice drink.

Lousiest casino I have been in with the absolute worst customer service i have ever encountered as well as the most unprofessional staff. When dealing with several customers complaints over the poor organization of a concert, one staff member, Shannon, had the audacity to actually stick her fingers in her ears and smirk at them. I recently attended a charity gala here. Having only been here for a couple of concerts in the past, I hadnt really seen the areas where they hold weddings, galas and conferences. Friday night Seafood / Prime Rib Buffet - Chrome Room/Lounge

To my great surprise it all was great!! Endless prime rib cooked to perfection, crab legs, shrimp, salmon, salads, pasta, veggies, rice, potatoes, desert.......

We waited for about 20 minutes for our table but you get a buzzer so you can wonder around. Food was fresh and continuously refilled while we were there!!

Recently stayed here on business for one night in a business class room. I found the rooms to be very spacious and modern. I had a king size bed, flat screen and small sitting area. The rate for this was $149.00/night which I think is fairly reasonable (maybe a little on the higher end). This place gets crazy on the weekends. We sat in the "party zone" (not sure if that's what it's actually called or someone just said it) and lost a bunch of money to a harem of attractive young female black jack dealers. There was no end to them, they kept coming, each one more attractive than the one before. There were even girls dancing on podiums all around us.....
