We arrived, tired, after a long delayed flight, and we were in our room in just a few minutes. Front staff was friendly.
We were close to the icemaker and it was noisy off and on all night. We are seniors and wanted a quiet room.
Nice hotel but the mattress in the room was very uncomfortable.
The hotel room was large, everything worked, and we could not hear any of the street traffic. The staff were friendly, but the housekeeping crew did not like to put too much effort into cleaning the room. The message light kept on flashing on the telephone, although we deleted our messages, and the staff were no help at all here.
The room was very clean and provided very good value based on the location and amenities including free continental breakfast.
We picked this hotel due to its close location to Whyte Ave. it is also a very easy drive to South Common shopping. Plus there is a Tim Horton's right across a quiet side street. The staff was very friendly (friendliest I've had in Edmonton)! The bed was very comfortable. I woukd recommend this hotel as you get a very quiet, comfortable hotel for a good price!
Clean with good amenities and breakfast. Free internet a bonus
Location is very convenient to access south Edmonton
The hotel is new, very cozy, clean, modern environment, breakfast is a great feature. But we got some extremely loud drunk neighbours who had their teammates coming over all night long to the neighbouring suite shouting and cursing inside their suite and in the hallway, slamming the doors behind them unstoppably, going back and forth between the rooms and the outside up to 4 AM!!! Even though... more
Very nice hotel! Had a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and everything was very clean.
Fast visit to Edmonton. Enjoyed the hotel and its friendly staff. I will certainly stay here again.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean and I don't think I have even been to a hotel of 5 star rating that has been more cleaner. The down side was the buffet breakfast. I never expect much but they put on bacon and scrambled eggs, so we thought we would have some. Unfortunately it was rather disgusting. They needn't bother. They should just stick to... more
I got in very late to Edmonton so I booked the room in order to avoid inconveniencing my friends with whom I stayed during my holiday. Days Inn was perect for this purpose.
The receptionist was rude! It was a quite eye opener! The rudeness would be absolutely a shock to the core! I ll never stay in this hotel because of her! I asked her how to get to my room, she said, I already told you! Why can't you write it down? Woow!
A friend and I stayed there this passed weekend for the first time. Great service from the front desk. Helped us out however they could. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet. Great stay, thank you!
Enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast, nice variety of food and service. A little noisier our first.night.
酒店服务很不错,床也很舒适,做为一个连锁酒店,性价比也不错,可惜不能提供中文服务,酒店所在的地点稍差一点,周围吃饭的地方比较少,也没有什么购物地点或者娱乐场所。
It was clean and comfy with great staff, close to whyte ave and a Tim hortons across the street
Needed a hotel close to Whyte Ave while in town for a music fest, this hotel did the trick nicely.
The hotel itself was really nice. However, when our neighbours came home next door at 2:30 am from partying... They may as well have been in the same room as us. The walls are way too thin!
The hotel overall was decent. Breakfast was a little disappointing as they seemed to run out of things and didn't offer decaf coffee other than Sanka. However I would stay there again - it was clean and room was comfortable - and close to where I was working. However the neighbourhood leaves a little to be desired - lots of homeless people around, and a bit unnerving when walking at night and... more
Clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast as expected.
Decent hotel with clean rooms but the beds need to be upgraded. The breakfast was ok but the same each day.
The bed were noisy when we turned over or moved and not very comfortable.
Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very quiet which was good as I needed a good nights sleep. Only thing missing is a restaurant within the hotel or within walking distance - only one - the Chinese food place - it was very good food and service there too.
Overall my stay was excellent. The only problem was the bed mattress, not so comfortable and noisy.
Stayed 4 nights, Staff was very attentive to details.
We had a great check in girl. Lua deserves so much appreciation, she made my weekend and didn't think anything of it. I loved the fridge in the room and the wonderful breakfast in the morning. It was a joy to stay where I felt welcome. Thank you
Check in was fast, room was clean. Had fridge and coffee maker, had nice TV and Wi-Fi. I really didn't need anything else.
Starting with the staff, I can't say enough. They are all exceptional, caring and genuine. I spent more than a month at this hotel (at a reduced medical rate.) I was asked daily about the condition of my wife (who was in a hospital with life-threating issues.) Due to previous reservations I had to move from room to room several... more
No complaints friendly staff reasonable price
The breakfast was the same every day. No creativity.
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast that was included was really kind of abysmal, really not all that interesting or good. The hotel felt like it was in the middle of nowhere but was actually fairly convenient to Whyte St. and the Old Strathcona district.
This is good, clean, standard Day's Inn. As usual I like the breakfasts, and the fitness room is small but functional. Internet service is adequate with excellent IT support for a connectivity problem I had. Staff were pleasant and informative. However room soundproofing is poor. I could quite clearly hear the people next door and out in the hallway.
No complaints about anything. Place was clean, close to Whyte Ave and staff very friendly.
I've stayed here multiple times for work and pleasure. Its a nice hotel with clean rooms & comfortable beds. Maybe a little warmer than I'd like but that's not unusual. The neighbourhood is not great. I'd be uncomfortable walking back from Whyte Ave by myself; it's dark & not well lit on the shortest route back. If you are looking for a place to get a good sleep that's close to UofA or Whyte... more
Very clean, excellent service, would definitely stay again
Had a lovely stay. Very comfortable & will stay again. Quiet & restful at night.
Since the hotel opened I stay there 3 to 3 nights at least 4 times a year.
Enjoy the friendly staff not only at the reception but as well the housecleaning staff is very cheerful
I find the BBQ which is available an excellent idea and as well the customer appreciating evening (won for the first time)

First time at this hotel for a very brief stay.
Didn't arrive to the hotel until 12:30am. The lady (Millet) at the front desk greeted me by name right away (probably because I was the last person to check in for the evening).
Told her that I will be leaving before 5:00am to catch a flight. She offered to have...

Very convenient to the university. Nothing fancy, perfect for an overnight stay. In my rate breakfast was included which is always a good news. Staff smiley and helpful. Room was clean and quite. Good night sleep. What else one can ask for ??
One night only, hotel conveniently located to University area, Whyte Ave. Staff are very friendly, helpful. Free breakfast...They even have gluten free bread and cereal which I did not know about until checking out, but good to know for others. Room was clean, spacious, window opens. Good value.
I highly recommend for this hotel if you stay in the South side or University area. My wife and I stayed in Days Inns for 6 night, We had a King size bed room with sofa. The room is spacious and clean. While I was doing some company stuff in the desk, my wife was relax watching the large 42"... more
Great place, everything was perfect. Not one thing went wrong. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Clean. The price was great. I will stay here on every visit from now on. This was my first time in Edmonton. It will not be my last.
Very good middle Class! It was our first time in that Days Inn Hotel (recommeded by some of our Friends) and during this Trip, we did spend there 2 Nights. all was fully ok and we did liked this Hotel and especially their friendly Employees there. Breakfast Service was also fully ok, with good Choices of hot Beverages. Staff did... more
My sister and I flew out to Edmonton for the Fringe Festival but didn't want to stay right downtown because of crowds and traffic congestion. I've been staying at this property every three week for fifteen weeks. I ALWAYS stay here; it feels like home! Front desk staff are friendly and outgoing.
Stay here if you are in town for business for sure, great value for when traveling with family even though there isn't a pool but who's here to go swimming anyway?
Hey People try this place I am sure you won't be disappointed. The Breakfast done by Rose is hot and fresh each day and a good selection. Researched hotels in advance on TripAdvisor to come up with selections for trip. The hotel itself, interior and exterior, is very nice. Cont. breakfast was good. Breakfast attendant, Rose, was very well... more
I've always enjoyed my stay here. It's nothing fancy, but the staff are always friendly and they treat me well. The rooms are clean, the cleaning staff is friendly, and the beds are comfortable. The location is not stunning, but the room was nice, clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. The neighborhood appears safe, but a bit industrial. After much research, this was the most hotel for the money near the university in Edmonton and we were not disappointed with out stay.
Great stay!! .. clean rooms, lobby, friendly fd & hsk'ing staff -- breakfast sufficient & good. One of the best hotels in the south area to stay at!! Too bad not available for a return stay on July 3rd!!
Another great stay, great staff, We have stay hear many times never have any thing but a great stay.
Hot tub area, no change rooms and hotel does not supply robes for going to and from rooms. Robes to purchase were out of stock (or locked up with no key as manager away). Hot tub area very slippery when wet (tiled) - as well as loose tiles (spongy when stepped on) and poor jet pressure. Only one elevator that... more
I like to wait for my meetings by using internet access to blow time. I asked the front desk if there internet connection was of good quality and they said yes. I'll admit some of the five-star reviews for the Days Inn Edmonton South are fishy and eerily similar. I almost didn't book a room here because of that. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. It's proximity to Whyte Ave is a real asset. The free parking and wireless internet were a bonus. Staff were very accomodating and friendly.
I phoned and reserved a room. Arrived expecting a room with a king bed. Went to the room and it had two queens.. Went to the desk and was told the the room was the same price and didn't have enough cleaning staff. that day so that's all they had left! So i asked for the cost of a queen... more
Location is terrible, lots of homeless wandering around the local bottle depot down the alley. No fences in the too small parking lot but everything went well regardless. Room was clean, very hot but a/c worked fine so that worked out too. Nearby Tim Horton's is a bonus. Good value.
Tucked away in what appears to be a 'not so great' neighborhood' but iin fact was absolutely fine. A five minute walk from Whyte Ave, lots of restaurants, pubs, etc.Starbucks and Second Cup a short walk away!Room was quiet and clean.I travel on biz a fair amount and have sen everything but I'd book it again.
When ever we are in the city of Edmonton we always stay at the Days Inn because we have always had great service, We will continue to stay at the Days Inn for its freindly service and we are always telling family and friends about your hotel.
My friend and I were passing through the Edmonton area and decided to stay the night at the days inn, their rates were extremely competitive and the room was really nice. We have stayed at the Days Inn Edmonton South on 2 seperate occasions. Each time, we were greeted promptly as we entered. Staff were quick, pleasant and efficent. Details of our bill, room and breakfast were explained thoroughly.

We stayed one night in this hotel and overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms comfortable, breakfast fine and the room quiet after 11 pm. Stayed here for a family member's appointment at Stollery. Hotel staff were very friendly and VERY accommodating. Rooms were clean and quiet, and beds were comfortable. It was a pleasant welcoming right from signing in to leaving. We were in for a Hospital
visit and found out that there was a discount which helps a lot .I will be telling other patients so they can get it to.
We have stayed here numerous times because they offer a hospital rate and are about 5 minutes from the U of A Hospital.
