I was tired and wanted a quiet place and something easy and healthy for dinner. I chose the turkey dinner and the staff was very obliging about giving me white meat only, leaving off sauces and gravy and giving me extra cranberry which made me a dinner I enjoyed. I had a good dinner in a quiet spot and it... more
its your typical old style diner. drab colours. old tables and chairs. very blah. BUT- we went for breakfast, and it was delish. Hot & Fast . we split an egg benedict- and it was cooked perfect.
The waitress, pardon me, " server " , was very kind and attentive. I was not feeling very well, and she went out...

We went there for their advertised (outside on their billboard and on posters at the entrance) Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner. It started with a choice of soup or salad. We both had soup which was OK except my wife's soup was spilled all over the side of the cup and the plate that it was on. The waitress mentioned later... more
I have been going there for 15 years! I miss Mario and his standards! Our Sunday waitress is very friendly and accommodating. The woman who works the till is snooty and rude! This oast week I was charged wice for hot water! After 15 years as loyal customers we are going to move on.
Eat dinners there frequently. Unlike most restaurants, they will give you 1/2 salad and 1/2 fries at no extra price. I like that! Find choices for vegetarians good and if they don't have it on the menu, they are often willing to make it for you such as a vegetarian stir fry. Waitresses are friendly and you usually don't have... more
always treated and served great here good menue selection and price is reasonable gone here many times over the year
Bacon and eggs are pretty tough to mess up, but if you're in the mood for something more, perhaps. move a few more blocks down the road. The bennies I ordered were served wirh "Pump Cheese" (You know, the stuff that 7-11 has for their Nachos) and the mushroom omelet is exactly that...eggs with mushrooms in them. Nothing else. No cheese, veggies, seasoning... The service was friendly enough and... more
We got seated quickly, offered drinks upon arrival and the food was good, what I didn't like was we had to ask for everything, jam for toast, syrup for pancakes, more coffee, toast was burnt but got more no questions asked, food came promptly so would probably try it again if in this area.
Only an afternoon snack with friends - they ate meals (Pancakes/Club) - both looked ok nothing great, I'd maybe order the Club.
We had the nachos full dressed - very light on all the condiments, and the cheese was not so great. Would never order again
Looked around at the other few tables and the food didn't strike me as must order, standard size nothing homemade looking about anythng
Meh....

We arrived at the Best Western late & did not really want to go hunting for a place to eat so decided on the Crossroads Restaurant on site. The menu that was in our room information book looked adequate.
We were greeted & seated immediately. Beverages (coffee & water) were brought quickly. Our order was taken promptly. We arrived shortly...

This is a Plain Jane no frills cafe, the clientele is permanent, food is good for the price.
ive eaten here several times over the past three years and have never had anything but pleasant faces greeting me and quality food!! they also have amazing burgers....good luck in the future Crossroads!!
Had breakfast and it was very good!!! The staff was super nice and the prices were reasonable.
I knew immediately that it must have new owners, I have not been for two years and the food was disgusting, it was suppose to be a grilled sandwich and it was soft and gummy with butter gobbed on top, no taste and to make things worse I ended up sick immediately after through until the night. I used to... more
Gross, sub par, low quality ingredients, overpriced menu with minuscule portions but seems to be good enough for some long haul truckers as it has allot of semi parking and is close to highway. I feel bad for the truckers who eat there.
Had breakfast there on July 16th.
The staff was very knowledgeable about Gluten Free [Celiac] concerns.
Offered sald or tomatoes instead of the toast!
I would certainly go there again!
1. SUPPOSE TO BE OPEN UNITL 10PM ... SAYS SO ON DOOR ... YET ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE CLOSED AFTER 7PM ... food highly overpriced to what you get ... staff is a little slow on delivery but that could be the kitchen not getting the food out timely ... decor is nice for 1970 but... more
