Great boat ride
25 mars 2014See the Percé Rock up close on all sides, observe the cliffs of Bonaventure Islands, gaze in wonder at thousands of birds flying over your head (keep your mouth shut !), meet dozens of seals in their natural environment, see gannets dive at more than 100 km/h and maybe even get the chance to observe some whales on the way... plus

We did 2 tours to Bonaventura Island as there was unfortunately not enough interest in whale watching tour any more. End of season is kicking in.
Our Captain Eric made both tours into a joy, with us the only 2 non french speaking on board. Thanks Eric for all the info. especially on the whale trip we never got

Beautiful views
27 août 2013We really enjoyed seeing the Perce rock from the ocean, and were amazed at the number of birds around Bonaventure Island. There wasn't much commentary, and that given was in French. The view was the important part and the trip was really worthwhile. I'd advise taking a tour early in the day since we couldn't stop on the island since... plus

One hour on the boat
01 août 2013Beautiful view , it cost 20 dollars per person, the only thing the guide was speaking in french only....... and most of the tourists on the boat were english spoken..... plus

great tour on a less than perfect day
26 juin 2013It poured rain just as we were about to disembark on Bonaventure Island. Fortunately, the captain had already circled the island and we saw the nesting gannets, the razor billed penguins and the loungin seals.
