Good position but average food

Friday Night Prime Rib Dinner
September 20, 2012Just had the 6 oz. Prime Rib Dinner with horseradish/garlic mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli and Yorkshire pudding. The Prime Rib was excellent! The mashed potatoes were very good and you could not tell there was horseradish in them. Tasty. I would go again, especially for the Prime Rib.

At the risk of piling on... disappointing

We've been here at least 5 times (pub and restaurant) and, each time, come away underwhelmed. It's the location that draws us back; "let's have a wander around French Creek harbour and check out the fresh fish available there..." I think/hope that after 5 disappointing visits to this restaurant we'll have learned our lesson: not again!

The food is nice, with plenty of tvs to watch the sport. The staff were all they usualy restaurant friendly. Pleasant but not engaging.

Good menu choices

There is quite a combination of seafood and Greek items on the menu. We had two seafood items for lunch, both good, but not outstanding. The Chef's trio was a bit heavy on the batter.
It was midweek, and off-season, so staffing was a bit of a problem, and service was not fast. It is a difficult time for management....
