Centrally located on mountain

We were able to check in early, but ended up with a handicap room with only a queen bed and a shower instead of the king with a big bath tub. But, we were only there one night, so all was good.

Great staff Clara-housekeeping attentive!

Wonderful experience- especially with Clara in housekeeping who was very attentive to needs of extra blanket and hand towel. She also elaborated on places to visit and shops to frequent. Will return again in the future!

Overall the hotel was clean, close to amenities. Only thing was brochures and web said they had a breakfast buffet which they no longer do. They now have a Starbucks which serves meals which are pricy. 3 of us for breakfast was $50. Bit much for coffee, bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns. We would stay again but not have breakfast.

We have stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions now so that we could get early morning flights. Great spot close to restaurants and airport. I had a get experience. The general man that was at the front desk when I arrived was very helpful. He tried to help me find a way to get a ride from Hamilton to NOTL. And having the shuttle from and to the airport was great and I really appreciated it as not knowing when I was.

I think for what we paid ( and we had a special wedding rate) was expensive. This was our first time at a Marriott and I think our last. Was disappointed that there were no frigs in the room. Very thin walls and you could here noise most of the night

Overall good experience

This was an excellent location for us as we were attending a family wedding five minutes away. The room was clean and comfortable, although it did seem a bit small. We enjoyed using the pool and generally the whole experience was very good - would stay there again!

Good hotel for visiting family.

Loved the hotel! The only thing I wish was for $145/night they should at least give you a complimentary breakfast instead of charging 12.95 for it.

We needed a hotel, centrally located for a family emergency. The Courtyard Hamilton was chosen just by chance. We are so very pleased with the hotel. Freezing in your hotel

When we arrived our hotel room was cold. We were cold from being outside all afternoon. So we went to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was cold. I went to my room to shower the shower was cold. I called front desk they sent someone to fix it. I came back 4 hours later it was still cold I called front desk they said they would look into it. No response. Next morning I finally got a hot shower!!!!

overall good experience

When we got to our room, we could hear loud music coming from the adjacent room. We contacted the hotel staff and they were very good about transferring us to a quieter floor/room. Other than the noise issue, the hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and everything quite comfortable.

Accesibility

The Hotel is located off the Lincoln Alexandre Parkway and on Upper James south. The Hotel's entrance is not easily identifiable as both the Hotel and parking lots are set back inside a cluster of businesses. One can miss the entrance and be forced to turn around and try another attempt at accessing the road entrance. The breakfast costs 15 dollars per person and the rooms are open and clean.

The staff was extremely helpful, and friendly. The room ,and bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the amount of chlorine in the pool area. It actually stung my eyes when I walked in to the pool area.

Very noisy guests in the hall all night prevented a decent nights sleep. When I went to take a shower in the morning I found it filthy from the last guest. So gross I couldn't wait to leave this place. They offered a free breakfast but I had no desire to eat here. I will now travel with Lysol.

Efficient, yet unenthusiastic check-in. Average room. Poor location if you're doing anything downtown, turning left onto Upper James is slow/tricky at the best of times.
