quality, service , have all gone downhill
June 27, 2014My family and I have frequented this restaurant several times in the past 6 years. The first few times were fair to mediocre. This past visit, the food was bland, overpriced, and the quality has gone downhill quite a lot. The salads we had ( Cesar as well as the house salad), both had a tainted taste to the dressings.... more

Good food, good service, good selection
March 03, 2014We often go to the Country Store for dinner. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is tasty and often times we are able to share a meal. We are able to go out for a nice evening at a reasonable price in a clean establishment.

Getting better I hope

Generous servings at a reasonable price

Our family ate here for the first time recently, and overall, we were quite pleased with our first experience!
Hubby had the prime rib special which he very much enjoyed, the children had burgers and fries, and I had a chicken dish. It was a little underwhelming - but there was lots of it and I definitely didn't leave hungry....

surprisingly impressed

After driving passed this restaurant 1,000's of times we decided to stop in. Although the location and curb appeal are one thing, what's inside is impressive .From the Decor,to staff to food a truly great experience .Will return soon and recommend often. Most tender and tasty beef.(Kettle Beef)

Consistently good
August 20, 2013We go here all the time when visiting Grandma, and it is always good. Its not spectacular, but its a good price and good normal food. It also has a very nice family atmosphere and friendly service. Always a good choice when in Port Colborne!

I took my out-of-town relatives to the Country Kettle for dinner and they were amazed by the decor, friendly service and home-cooked meals.
The restaurant was quite busy, filled with seniors and families, but we didn't wait long for our meals to be served....and of course, it was all delicious!

Disappoinment with the fish otherwish good -read on please

Restaurant is small and very nice. Had not been there in a bit as out of town for us.
Son ordered the fish and it was frozen fish and so was the french fries and it cost $12.00.
The rest of the food was awesome, so could not understand why the same restaurant would
want to ruin their meals by...

Perfect Lunch for A Cool Day

while staying at the Capri Motel it was suggested to dine there..glade we did...good food and excellant service

Best meal I have had in a year

The waitress was lovely and even asked other staff where we could find wi-fi. The food was decently priced and the meal came with a biscuit, a separate salad, vegetables and a potato option (I chose fries). I got the steak and shrimp and it was perfectly cooked and everything tasted just amazing.
