Great Wings - Restaurant Badly In Need of Updating

Restaurant has great wings and often enjoy them on half price Tuesdays and Thursdays. Love the fact that they always have popcorn at the ready. Rest of food is predictable pub food and generally has a good taste - nothing to get cravings for, but good food.

May 17, 2014been going there on a average 3 x a month... food is hit or miss, lately a miss. pub atmosphere, could use a bigger and better beer on tap selection. Thursday - Saturday night bartender is awesome... wait staff could use a course on customer service 101. Overall it's part of the downtown scene and it worth it.

March 03, 2014We go most weeks for a night out with no thought into where we wish to go. Always consistant food at a reasonable price. Waitresses are pleasant and the beer cold. Just a place to relax after a hard week at work.

Food inconsistent
March 21, 2013My wife and I visited the Copper Mug about a dozen times and took visiting friends there. The service and food was excellent for about 6 months and then all of a sudden, for three consecutive visits, the food went from 8 out of 10 to 3. Great value
September 11, 2012Great value for the money, drinks not overpriced at all . Food was fresh and well-cooked better than expected. The daily special had great portion size. Good choice of domestic beers but could add a few more import brews. Probably a fun place to be on a weekend night.

1/2 Price Wing Night
August 21, 2012Great place to go and sit at the bar or at the booth and have a nice jug of Stella and wings. The hot wings are not hot. The wings are half price on Tues & Thurs. The staff are very nice and the atmosphere is wonderfully quiet.

Today I was in the mood for a steak. So that is what I ordered knowing that this is more a Pub and their speciality is more like chicken wings and so on. But to my surprise the steak was done just the way I like it and it was very tasty

A great pub atmosphere
June 04, 2012Good times had here many a times. Great place for friends and even family to hang out and watch a game and chat with a drink. Reasonable prices with free pop corn a nice touch. Wings can be good although a little small. A good place for Tillsonburg but only because there is not much else competition.

September 08, 2009"The Mug" is always a good place for friends to meet up when we are back in Tillsonburg. Good food, good drinks on tap, friendly staff, something on the tube. It may not be glamorous but it's a good back up.
