Came with work friends , didn't want to go, not really my scene at all. Had a pleasantly enjoyable time. May well go back and spend my own money there. Pleasant staff, friendly and no hovering which is one of my real hates. Yam fries were awesomely nommy.
Great atmosphere in your choice of sidewalk patio, upstairs patio, bar or restaurant. Food was very tasty, good portions and reasonably priced . We had chicken tenders, burger with blue cheese, fish and homemade (real potato) fries, and apple and turkey sandwich.
I have brunch there with friends every Sunday
Good food, nice waitresses, not so much expensive. I like it!
I really like the atmosphere. The service was good and I really enjoyed the food. This establishment really lives up to the hype.
The food was good, along with the beer. A great place to watch games. We sat inside but they have a patio and rooftop. Inside very modern and nice. Staff was attentive and helpful. Capicola pizza was great!
After being previously impressed my friend convinced me to give this lounge a go. Bad idea. The atmosphere is nice, it was a Wednesday night and pretty quiet. However, given that it was so quiet, I really couldn't come up with a reason as to why the service was sooo terrible. Our waitress must have kept forgetting about us, because... more
I'm an ex Winnipegger who loves to hang out here. I've never had a bad meal. Love the soups, the yam fries and the chicken pizza. If that weren't good enough, if your game is not showing, they'll put it on. Best place that I know to catch a Jets game and they're almost converting this longtime Habs fan. The... more
It was a Friday evening and the patio was full so we had to eat inside. A bit disappointed as it was a lovely evening but we had a nice table away from the bar but the guys could still see the TV's for the football game. I had the Macaroni & Cheese with sausage and brisket, the cheeses were... more
This is a yuppy lunch joint. Presentation is exceptional, food is okay, but I left quite hungry and way too light in the wallet. I've stayed away unless my lawyer or City official friends want to spring!
Clientele- wanna bee's who wouldn't know decent food and think this badly run place is high end.I can't believe people support this place.
Overpriced, below average food, bad service, are a few words that come to mind.
No chef here. More like a cook with a few years experience. Nothing was special.- mediocrity comes to mind. Save your money and...

Hangovers, ceasar salad are very mediocre and FROZEN fries are really bad. Not my choice for places to go food is always not great .Service was great food is a rip off when you pay and cannot eat it. Sorry but chef must learn to make an effort here .Poor Quality to say the least when it could be a... more
Got there just after midnight as part of group of 12 for a birthday. Restaurant was busy but not packed. Took a good 10 mins before we were greeted. Server took our drink order - and then it was another 10-15 mins before we got our drinks. I thinkI know why they call it Confusion Corner - cause the servers... more
Of course we have our favorites that we keep going back to. We know what to expect, and we know it will be good. But is it an atmosphere that we can spend the evening relaxing and enjoy the experience. Try it out. You'll like it! We're going back... more
Great place to get together with your friends. Especially loved the roof top patio. A little noisy, but the food and atmostphere is fun and laid back! Service was good!
This is a nice place. No over the top of the hill. But service is very good, the meat was really good, and the wine list is very interesting and the mark is more tha reasonable. So, you can enjoy a good wine without suffering! Really liked and worth to go back!
Have been here for dinner several times and have never been disappointed but it's nothing to write home about. Food is fairly average restaurant food with a few unique selections. Summer is the time to visit becuase the rooftop patio is awesome.
Great food, service, staff. Quiet spot at bustling corner. Great place to stop while changing buses. Near Osborne Street.
Food is far too expensive for my liking, service is way too poor, I feel used
Fun and trendy. Lots of parking in the back of the restaurant. I was there twice. They had good specials each time and something to please everyone, from larger food portions, to appetizers, platters and more.
something for everyone here and an extensive wine list too.
Food was tasty and above excellent. Newly decorated and like the decor
This place is very uppity and a little overpriced for my liking. The restaurant itself is very nice inside and service was good. I'll pass on this one though.
Right at Confusion corner. A little hard to get there because of the 5 streets comming together at this corner .Thats why its confusion corner but worth the trip. Try out there upstairs balcany.
A couple of times this winter, I’ve enjoyed a “crunch” salad -garnished with a couple of kinds of nuts to provide the promised texture. I tried to find it on their on line menu just now but was not successful. So perhaps it is a new item and does not have a permanent place on the menu or perhaps the... more
too expensive, poor quality, poor service. i was totally dissapointed.
The food is alright in this place, but it is nothing to write home about. The actual space I find is not very welcoming, but cold and hard.
This was our third visit to Confusion Corner, definitely won't be our last. We ordered the nachos to start. they were your standard nachos but they really hit the spot. I had the California veggie pizza; the balsamic reduction sauce was perfection with goat cheese and vegetables. My husband also really enjoyed it (stole my leftovers from the fridge). My... more
I love the variety on this menu! I was really hungry and this was going to be my dinner too so I ordered both the sushi grade tuna and fish tacos. Delicious!!
It was lunch and wine is so tiring so we shared a bottle of Peligrino to go with our great food.
Can't wait til their patio opens!!
Great atmosphere, excellent food. Interesting menu, and fantastic seating in the summer up on the open patio. Ordered the ahi tuna and nachos and were very impressed.
Attended for a friend's birthday and would not return. Very disappointing food (both felt sick afterwards) and a noisy ambience - almost felt like an Earls/Moxies wannabe. Overpriced. But, lots of selections and very easy to find.
First time visiting Confusion and it was Great. Food quality was excellent, nice wood burning fireplace, lots of tv's in the bar. Over all i would highly recommend it.
First time here. Tried the soup and fish tacos. Soup was tasty and hot, and fish tacos pretty standard fare. Menu not too short, not too long, very nice. Service was great, girls serving could have dressed a bit more modestly. Prices were ok.
I spent the afternoon on the roof top lounge and enjoyed a drink and meal with my wife. The beverages were fine - we did not order anything that would rock the world. The meal was very good. From the french onion soup, to the entree - burgers and sandwiches- to the very good apple strudel, all was above -... more
From what I was able to determine, I would say that this Bar & Grill has the best little upscale bar in Winnipeg's Osborne Village area, notwithstanding the higher priced drink menu. These higher prices are somewhat off-set by the restaurant's "Happy Hour", so arrive early if you are only planning to have cocktails.
Hi, on Thursday March 18 my buddy and I went to your establishment for a nice meal after a long day of school and work (around 11:00pm). We sat in the dining room and both ordered the Bison rib with both of us adding on the extra rib. First of all, when the waitress (named Janelle) came by to ask... more
Reading reviews of this particular restaurant I see a lot of this: "Great atmosphere...but". Unfortunately, as any Hollywood actor knows, it is not enough for a restaurant to survive on looks alone. There needs to be an "it" factor that will sets a restaurant apart from the masses. Confusion Corner Bar and Grill needs to indulge into some self discovery.... more
Warm beer, terrible nachos and poor service. Nice atmosphere, but would not recommend it.
We weren't sure where to eat in our visit to Winnipeg and so we came to this neighborhood expecting to be tempted. The threat of rain started to become more serious and we spied this restaurant from across the crazy-a@s intersection. Boy, I'm happy we ended up here. We had the pizza with artichokes, feta and mozzarella cheeses, chicken and pesto. Oh... my... god. That was a damn good pizza and... more
I don't have too much to say about this place.I end up here every now and then to sit in the lounge and have some drinks, and occasionally have dinner.Confusion Corner falls into the same group of restaurants as moxies, joeys and earls. It's one of those places where the scene is as important as what is on the menu, and the menu certainly does not disappoint. The menu has some good variety... more
first of all the interior isnt that great, i am from frankfurt germany and i winnipeg needs some modern intererior design in restaurants and clubs.
the waiter was awful we didnt know what we wanted to drink yet and he said he will give us a minute but came back after 15min of waiting. its way to overpriced and the...

I was impressed with the menu. Not full of standard items which was good. Most items seemed to have an interesting twist to them The service was very good and the staff was quite interested in how everything was. My meal was delicious with a generous portion. Our server was very knowledgeable regarding the menu. I will definitely be back... more
horrible, way too expensive way too pretentious, it isn't Toronto people!
IMet a friend at Confusion Corner Bar&Grill on August 15. I found the lounge upstairs a bit hot and stuffy. It was a hot day and we both ordered beer, and if I am paying over $7.00 for a mug of beer, I want it cold and frosty, not lukewarrm! I couldn't believe it. I mentioned it to the server,... more
Extremely poor value and quality. After all, this is Winnipeg, not Vancouver harbourfront!!
Nachos likely the second worst in the city - a dry, small, completely devoid of any taste bowl of nacho chips with " salsa" consisting basically of dried chunks of green pepper and diced tomatos - for $12 . If I wanted a bowl of dry tortilla...

I went to the Confusion Corner Bar & Grill this evening and had a terrible experience. The Sangria came with chunks of something black in it, that smeared on my hand when I took it out. GREAT food...awesome DATE place!! One of our #1 picks!
Good food and the price doesn't kill you. The atmosphere is trendy yet quieter than a Moxie's or Earls, but comparable in clientele. Need to go here more often.
Pretty good food for the price, and generous portions. Cool atmosphere, too.
I was here for New Year's Eve. The dining area was full, so we were seated in the bar area. The menu had lots of selections that looked great. My husband and I both took the ribs - they were fantastic. The service there was also very friendly, and very prompt (considering how full they were). Definitely a place I... more
