Didn't have a balcony

I asked to be on ground level due to having a newborn baby and wanted baloney door for easy room access from parking lot. I go to check in and find out our king suite didn't have balcony doors and asked a different room. Dirty- avoid!

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in, in terms of filth. The bath tub had a ring of scum and dirt with the overall condition of our room poor. We had a non smoking room which wreaked of smoke. I am a smoker and this still bothered me. Extremely unhappy with our experience and will not return.

Stayed mid renovations

Even thought the hotel in in the midst of renovations we were not bothered by them. The changes are great - especially the beds - VERY comfortable. The continental breakfast was more and better than we expected.

Our Stay at Comfort Inn in Windsor

We were basically only in the hotel overnight and for breakfast. Everything except the hallway carpeting was very clean. There was also a good variety of foods for breakfast. The only complaint I had about breakfast is that the coffee tasted like water.Not sure why hotels make it so weak.

Away from the hub of the city and quite.

Wanted a quite Hotel away from downtown. Young ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The lobby was under construction but our room was fully renovated, clean (very important), aesthetically pleasing and beds were very comfortable.

Typical Comfort Hotel you'd visit anywhere in Canada. Building still going through renovations, not a deterrent to recommending this location. Friendly staff and welcome smile to the weary traveller. There is no elevator so if you have many bags, ask for bottom floor.

Old but functional

Is a very dated hotel. Was probably something to see in its heyday. Definitely could use some maintenance. My door didn't always close easily. I noticed others had the same issue. Cracks in the walls were noticeable moulding was bent on the doors. Things like that. The Resturant was rough. Service was almost nonexistent the menu was limited and I ended up going elsewhere for dinner.

The hotel was all newly renovated. The comfort of the beds was amazing. In the room you find a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is complimentary as is coffee and tea available all day. More than enough towels. I would come back again. Rate was good for what you get. I found the room clean.

Ok for a room

It would have been nice to come back to a room where the ironing board and iron were put away instead of still up after the room had been cleaned. Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay but the bathtubs definitely needed to be upgraded when the bathroom renovation was done.

Some maintenance was ongoing. The washroom fan wasn't working. Other than that, it was amazing, room was renovated and comfortable. Very reasonable priced. Comfort level was up to par with any other 4 start hotel.

The hotel was under construction, but was fully functional. Hotel has no elevator. One wall of my room adjoined the main staircase and could hear other guests coming and going up and downstairs all through the evening and night. The stay was almost fine except for bath tub needed cleaning. Renovation in the hotel did not bother us much. New furniture in the room and lamps looked modern and stylish. Just far from clean bath tub and someone's socks showing from under the bed spoiled entire impression.

“This place was more like 4 to 5 miles from downtown Windsor and was in a suburb NOT in Windsor. The hotel website took you to a different Comfort Inn that was in Windsor and close to downtown. ”

“I had a pleasant stay at this hotel except the fact that there were groups of people roaming the hallway early in the morning (4am & 6am). They were loud & rowdy. My needed sleep was disturbed.”

“The Comfort Inn Windsor is conveniently located on Dougall Ave. just off the EC Row Expressway, just minutes away from the tunnel, bridge, and casino. The room was clean, no complaints there, but the one problem was that breakfast was served in a very small room, which made for a tight squeeze when more than 2 people were in there selecting their items. ”
