Hallways dark and dirty, rooms a little better

Hallways have old carpet that needs to be replaced. Rooms are not much better than the hallway. We had a late check in due to traffic issue on route and front desk not very helpful. The quality of the breakfast was poor, bruised apples. I would not stay here again.

Close to stores & restaurants

Always a pleasant stay

Stayed 4 different times on stopovers to east coast and have always found the staff, room, breakfast excellent. We seldom use hotel pools but really enjoy the large bright saltwater pool at this location.

Too much for what you get

We had booked a comfort inn in drummondville (newly renovated) on our drive back from the east but felt we could get further. Because the Drummmondville location was CAA recommended and was newly renovated we didn't think to confirm the condition of the comfort inn which was $20 more/night. Friendly place to stay

When we arrived we were not able to get the room on the ground floor as we requested but we were able to upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom although the shower head was unusually low. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Good place to stay.

Not so nice hotel

We felt that it's a little pricy for the rooms they provide. Rooms and the building conditions need improvement. It looks decent only in the picture(s). If you are looking for a comfortable stay, I would not recommend this place, but if you need to just spend a night on-route and leave in the morning, I think you wouldn't be disappointed.

Disappointed

The pictures on the website do not reflect the appearance of the hotel. The rooms were not very clean and had a old must y smell. The pool had such a strong smell of chlorine that we were unable to swim. Some updating is definitely needed. Travel to Quebec yearly and will not stay at this place again.

Run down hotel

First impression of the room was "I should turn around and run!" The room was run down and stinky. There was black mold in bathroom and on wallpaper, the beds looked broken and the towels and carpet were rally damp! The breakfast was not terrible the the staff running the breakfast was very ignorant and rude to customers. I would never stay here again!

The hotel is an average hotel, rated at the right price for what it offers. It was clean. We were using it just to return and sleep so it was sufficient. The name said it all, and we expected it. I recommend it to anyone who just wants a clean bed/room to go to sleep. No need to pay more for a room you are not going to stay in it other than sleep.

The room itself was fine. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and it was difficult to find any signs pointing to the direction of the lobby. Also for some reason I had to drive all the way around the back to park, because this was the 2nd floor parking??? Most hotels are first come first serve for parking. Staff were excellent. Great location not far from us border and shopping. Pool was great. Very happy with stay in this motel. The only thing was that it smelt extremely strong like smoke in hallways and different smell in room. Opening the patio door to air out room improved with some air freshener. Smell in hallways stayed of course but room smell disappeared.

Revolving door hotel on 401

You will never go to this hotel waking up in the morning after sleepless night and seen how really bad it is. Staff doesn't care. because it's going to be another victim of misrepresentation form passing by 401. everything is falling apart. bathtub is full of standing water, carpets soiled. We booked this room trough Expedia and apparently this is second class customers in this establishment.

This hotel did have a better continental breakfeast then I expected but the room smelled bad and the wall paper was peeling of the walls. Staff was ok but the hotel leaves much to be desired. There was a musty smell in the hallways as well. I will try another hotel if I find my self back in cornwall.

Fair and enjoyable

Overall, it was satisfying. Aside from the coffee pot not dripping properly, the place was clean and provided several amenities (coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge - all operational), swimming pool and great breakfast, which made for a nice short stay! The heating system could be less noisy and a little warmer. But still very good, as was the whole staff.

We were booked for three nights but only stayed for one.

We did not partake of all that was available to us...i.e. pool, breakfast, so it is difficult to critique all that they had. I must had that the room was very hot when we arrived. But it cooled down nicely with the heat off and the patio door open for a while.

Nice, pet friendly hotel

We had a king size bed in a large room with our 2 labrador dogs. The hotel charged extra for the dogs, but they made a point of placing us where we could easily get them in and out to do their business. We forgot our fan for background noise, but the staff were able to lend us one. Lastly, the free, hot breakfast was the best that we have ever experienced in our travels.

Comfort Inn Cornwall

I arrived at 3 am just to take a nap and continue driving along the 401 from Halifax to Windsor. Its close proximity to the highway which is great. Well this is such an average property there really isn't much to say. This one hasn't been updated/upgraded so the desk, pictures/bathroom and fixtures are all still old. If you have no expectations you will be fine. A little far off the highway.

Damn funky curtains

Pretty generic hotel, furnishings etc. are a bit dated. Had no fridge or microwave but a quick call to the front desk fixed that. Pool looks nice and it is salt water so that is nice. Will check it out later today. I like how they have to holders for toilet paper in the bathroom.

Room was clean, staff accommodating, breakfast had a decent amount of protein. Bonus is that the Waterfront trail is right across the street, giving access to 25 km of paved trail westward. A good place to stop for a rest along the way...a little pricey for what you get. Little dated and dingy, walked in a taped open back door which concerned me a bit. Nice enough accomadations.

We enjoyed how very nice the people of Cornwall were,and the staff at the hotel couldn't have been nicer. The waterfront area was just lovely for sightseeing.

Hotel room smelled

Our non-smoking room stank of cigarette smoke and a solid air freshener that had obviously been added to try to hide the cigarette smell. The perfume smell of the air freshener combined with the stale cigarette smoke hit you like a wall when you opened the door.
