Have stayed here before, and found that little has changed, other than a much improved breakfast. Rooms are clean, heating a bit out dated. Front desk staff is excellent and most accommodating.
Ideally, a thermostaticly controlled heat system would be an improvement, but, for the price paid through an online reseller, well worth the money.
Service was NOT great.
They have new owners as of September 2013. New owners do not seem promising - as a result of dealing with them and some of the counter staff - I WILL NOT bring my group back to them again.
Rooms are good.
Continental breakfast that is included is ok. Nothing in comparison to a Holiday Inn...

Would not stay again and would not recommend. The hallways smelled like urine and the rooms were noisy, could hear everything in halls and other rooms, big gap between door and door jamb to hallway, looked as though it may have been broken into in past. Was chilly on room, turned up heat but it never warmed up past 67... more
An unexpected overnight stay... Although it was a break from the road, it surely was not even close to what it should have been for the price they charge!! We had to be moved from our first room. We were moved to about the middle of the hall... Noisy neighbors...Had the worst sleep, Also... We are very upset about the... more
Driving eastwards along Highway 1, this proved to be an ideal place to stop. It's good value , clean, comfortable, spacious and close to shops and dining options. We just needed a break from driving and this was perfect.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful......just as we have found wherever we have stayed in Canada.
As always we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shopping and dining are within walking distance or only a short drive away. The complimentary breakfast is great if you want to grab a quick bite and be on your way. Thanks and see you again next time.
Jan and Joyce welcomed us so nicely. The room was spotless and the bed was heavenly. The breakfast was good and had healthy choices for us. We will return as we have done many times before. This location must have a wonderful Manager.
Usually stay at another hotel but it was booked so this was a spur of the moment stay. Girl behind the counter not extremely friendly but did her job. Room itself did not look clean, bathroom had hair in the tub and on the shower curtain. Yuk!!! Free breakfast was not great. Won't stay here again.
if you like spending time with gang members parties all night caught staff going through are room money went missing had to ask for toilet paper we here they had hidden cameras in certain rooms cheack in staff was very dirty and sketchy looking people banging on doors and walls in middle of the night.
Found this hotel spur of the moment when we were late getting to the border and needed a place to stay. Got a good deal on Priceline so were pleased to find that the hotel was decent. It is so old that there are no elevators.
The front desk worker was very friendly and very helpful. The phones had just...

Where do I begin. Check in the girl behind the counter did her job but not very helpfull or pleasent. That was the best part of our stay. The halls stunk to the high heavens .The rooms pretty average to look at bed so firm I am sure I have splinters from the wood it was made of blankets stunk... more
We usually stay at this hotel on our annual trip through the lower mainland, as a pit stop when it's late and we're tired of driving. Our last stay was in August 2013. We'll stay again.

We have been travelling around southern BC and have had fantastic rooms; this place however is disgusting. The doors to the bathrooms need a good washing with dirt stains under the handles. The room smelled and the hallway smelled worse. The TV connection was fuzzy like we used to have when we had the old TV antennas. NEVER would I... more
I was surprised to see how well rated this hotel was on tripadvisor but after reading another review here, I discovered why. We stayed here 2 nights and were put on the 2nd floor (old room, smelly, noisy and out of date)... whereas I see they've renovated the 1st floor. As a Choice Hotel member, I have to say I'm... more
Stayed 1 night to break a long journey. Large, clean room with 2 comfortable queen beds. Good A/C and standard facilities. Friendly staff on check-in desk. Restaurants nearby (ate at Earl's - 2 mins walk), shops, supermarkets, gas stations all around. Would stay again if in the area.
Only slight niggle was the complementary breakfast (which was fine - basic...

Very comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. Easy to find, near to BC1. Only one issue really and that was the lack of a lift. We were on the second floor and had to carry the cases upstairs, not a major issue, just a bit awkward. Excellent restaurant (Rickys) next door.
I had a weekend (overnight) visit to Chilliwack to judge a BBQ contest in the area and this was a perfect place to stay, as my event at Chilliwack Heritage Park was just 1.7 miles away. The hotel entrance and lobby were clean and the woman at the desk who helped me was friendly and helpful. My room was nice... more
we have been coming here every month this past 7 months and the staff is really nice and they welcome us very well and the rooms are clean and we will come back here for sure. its nice to have comapentry breakfast the next morning.
After a long day on the road from Fernie (attempting to get as close to Vancouver as possible) we were dead tired and needed a bed. The room was clean and comfortable and the price reasonable. Location was convenient to the highway and all we needed for a good nights sleep.
Not sure how this place gets more than 3 stars? Rooms are ok, staff are pleasant, but the beds, come on....it's more comfortable on the floor. What good is a hotel if your bed is the worst part? I rather have an uglier room but have a great sleep on a decent bed. To be fair, I did mention this... more
Our room was clean and a great value compared to other places in town. This place was under $100 per night compared to the Best Western's $140. There is not even a free breakfast at the Best Western. The Best Western wanted to charge an extra $10 for my adult son to stay with us, and an extra $10 for... more
I have stayed at the Comfort Inn numerous times in the past five years but my most recent visit I realized that I do not like having to schlep my luggage up to the second floor with those god awful tiled stairways. I booked in on a rainy night and was very wary of just how slippery the stairs can... more
The interior of the hotel (hallways, rooms, entrance) are very well kept and very clean! The hotel is close to the #1 highway but still was very quiet in the rooms. Stayed one night and all was fine. We had breakfast includex and it too was good for toasted items. A little noisy as you are right by the highway but close to good restaurants all within walking distance.
The smell of smoke in the hallway on the 2nd. floor was very strong, unpleasant and unwelcome. Our room was very comfortable and clean; we could not smell smoke in our room. The motel needs to seriously consider going totally non-smoking. The extra that they charge for a non-smoking room is not worth the discomfort to non-smokers and terrible smell... more
We were horrified at the smell of smoke in the hallways which was choking as we went to our room on the 2nd floor. Stairs only, no elevator to help with heavy luggage. The room was extremely uncomfortable and dingy. The air conditioner was dirty, the exposed filter moldy, and it looked like it had never been cleaned.....ever! The wifi... more
Staying here for work for a week and a half. This hotel could use an exterior facelift, the late 70's feel on the outside, probably does little to attract guests.
Our room is great ; the fridge and microwave are well needed and used, the tv is flatscreen, a nice update. Accents like nightlight in bathroom, slippers, and a laptop...

A place to sleep & shower; a conventional hotel room with lacklustre continental breakfast. But it's fine, and the woman who checked us in was friendly enough. I'd give it 3.5 if I could figure out how to make a half star when I'm rating.
Have stayed here innumerable times over the last 15 years. In the heart of the beautiful Fraser River Valley, 70 miles east of Vancouver. Great shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions and farms nearby. Access direct from parking lot to rooms on first floor. All the amenities including refrigerator and microwave. Very, very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Good tourist information... more
I found the price a bit high but everything was top notch. I would rate this hotel higher than 2 stars.
The included breakfast is basic but everything is good quality. I had orange juice - excellent, great hot coffee and they keep the breakfast bar clean and well stocked.
We stay there every time we go to Chilliwack.Pet friendly is a great asset .The rooms are comfortable.Close to all amenities.Shopping ,Movie theater, restaurants are all close by.Staff is helpful and friendly.Nice breakfast. All in all a good reasonable place to stay
Located right off a busy highway, this property might be too noisy for some, but if you are used to traffic noise then it is an adequate place to stay.
Nothing fancy, but I did like the large bathroom, the flat screen TV, and the patio doors directly out to the parking lot. Makes loading luggage very easy.

Spending a few nights in Chilliwack we wanted a good price and a clean place. We didn't really plan on spending much time in the room, so we didn't need a lot of amenities, so this place was just right for us and a good price too.

I stayed at this hotel while I attended training course at the University of the Fraser Valley. The room was very clean and even though it was on the freeway side I did not find the truck traffic noise to be too loud. The staff was friendly and helpful.
