I really enjoy coming to this pub in the summer when one can sit outside on their patio and enjoy the flowers and sunshine. It's a great place to meet with friends for drink & appies.
The food and service are good... but maybe I'd rather go there only to watch a sporting event... I was far too distracted by the lack of wall space uncovered by TVs.
CHP has amazing specials and tasty food. A great place to watch the game or have some dinner.
l was invited here for lunch and to watch the world cup final, the place was 75% empty, at kick off that should have been enough.
The glass top tables where filthy, greasy and water stained. The food took the best part of 40 mins to arrive. l had the lamb burger that had the look and texture of something...

Well my food came out lukewarm and looked like it sat under the warmer. Service was mediocre at best. The menu is far from pub fare.
All I wanted was good, friendly service. All I got was rushed service, and an annoyed bartender who wouldn't even let me finish my question before slamming the phone on me. :( Maybe I caught him on a bad day. But that is no way to treat a customer inquiring about there establishment.
I have been going to this pub for many, many years and one thing has never changed....the good food.
This pub is part of the Shooters group in Prince George. We are locals and visited here a couple of times. After one bad experience we decided to give the staff a fair chance and returned there during the week of Feb 17 2013. Our experience was even worse. An item which we did not ordered appeared on our bill... more
big meals made with real food.. fish and chips made with red snapper.. halibut burgers made from a fillet not from a breaded deep fryed burger.. soups as thick as stew.. hamburgers to big to eat.. big windows for the view.. fire places.. and over all nice atmosphere with the new renos............. I LIKE IT.. ... P.S TRY THE CEASERS..... more
We LOVED going here before they renovated the place. It had character and charm! Now it's just another noisy place with decor trying to look like every other "Vancouver" like bar. Too bad they lost the charm, ambience and atmosphere that they were known and loved for. I will now avoid this place at all costs, I am sorry to... more
COLLEGE HEIGHTS PUB
What's happened to the College Height's Pub? I’ve not seen a transformation like this since I first changed Optimus into a truck.
Someone should’ve told the owners of the College Heights Pup that they’re not located in downtown Vancouver. I had another paragraph all versed in my noggin complaining that reviewing pubs was a waste of time...

Go between regular meal times, and the noise from the multiple sports screens will give you time for a good chat with your companions.
this place excels in violence and gun toters, your safety is not worth not worth the mediocre food, and the ukranian smorg is a joke. Dirty , dingy old pub in need of a face lift
Nice selection of food. Portion size is very generous, service very good. Very noisy pub atmosphere.
nice quiet friendly atmosphere, outdoor patio and one pool table.
average pub fare, but good atmosphere and good prices
Nice beer & wine store next door too with a fantastic selection of BC Wines! What a find :)
The service is great and the food is tasty. The restaurant is in serious need of updating, but the atmosphere is pleasant and tasty. In the spring and summer the outdoor patio is amazing. You might expect to see a deer peering at you from the other side of the plexiglass!
cozy atmosphere, food is good, beer is cold, can be noisy during music trivia nights.
