Great Find

We stumbled upon coco's by accident and thankful we did! It's a very quaint and cozy place with great coffee and drinks and fantastic ginger snap cookies! The staff is genuine and friendly and gives Jasper that real local flair!

I waited a long time for my order. When I went to the counter to ask where it was they told me they had it on heat because they couldn't remember who ordered it. We were the only two people sitting in the cafe for the last few minutes. Friendly enough place, food was ok, good loose leaf tea.

Okay, so I am giving this a poor rating because it was a disappointment. The rating on yelp (4/5) was not accurate in my opinion, and this cafe did not live up to its main selling features.

Here were the problems I found:

I love this place. The food is fabulous, lot of it vegan and/or gluten free. Best place for coffee in Jasper. Infact it was my favourite place to eat in Jasper. Affordable too.

This cafe is soooo good

Everything we had was excellent! Really interesting and yummy food. Had veggie soup and stuffed pepper and one of their cookies for dessert. Great coffee, really popular with the local alternative crowd. Don't know why this cafe isn't higher rated.

I only ate once at Coco's - Huervos Racheros - a great breakfast in a friendly café. Coco's offered a variety of breakfasts including healthy wraps all at reasonable cost and also opens before most other cafes. I will breakfast at Coco's on my next visit to Jasper.

Went here for quick breakfast for 4. Food was not your normal breakfast. Breakfast burrito had odd curry sauce and the breakfast scramble was bad with old boiled or fried potatoes, not quite sure and they added a weird spice to the eggs that just ruined the whole thing. Only thing that was edible was the buttered toast.

Great coffee and breakfast at restaurant or to-go

When we stayed in Jasper for one week, I visited Coco's several times. I loved the selection of coffee and tea drinks and the food is delicious, too. It does get crowded because everyone loves the place. It really helps that the staff is easy going and so is the atmosphere. I love this place and plan to return!

Scrumptious Coffee and Tea Lattes

My wife and I patron this fine establishment any time we visit Jasper. They make fantastic Chai Tea Lattes and I am a sucker for their Espresso products. Of course, it's specialty stuff, so it can get pricey, but no more so than Starbucks. My taste buds actually prefer Coco's coffee over Starbucks.

Not bad, good vibe

Not a bad place to fuel up in the morning before your activities. Good coffee and menu selection. Ate here twice. As it is small, when busy, it can become cramped with no place to sit. However, people move in and out fairly quickly. Food was hearty and filling. Staff seemd nice. Cool music playing. I would go back again.

Love Coco's for a quick breakfast and a latte for the road (they open at 6AM summer hours). Had the Huevos rancheros - pretty good - bonus points for great refried beans & amazing salsa. I love the salsa it's spicy with a bit of sweetness. I totally need to reverse engineer the salsa but in the meantime I'll order everything I get with extra salsa - even if I'm having oatmeal for breakie.

Vegans head here! Great, mellow place that accommodates vegans and vegetarians and their supporters. Also cool queer-friendly vibe. For this 'mo from San Francisco, I was shocked by all the rainbow stickers along the main street of the beautiful little town in the mountains. But it makes me all the more a fan. Go support them!

Best coffee I had in Jasper - don't bother with the Bear's Paw Bakery. Proper cappuccino (49th Parallel roasted beans!) served as it should be. Breakfast eats are good too. The interior is decorated by artwork painted by the owner. If you're in Jasper, don't miss it!
