Reasonable price, Convenient to airport

I came in late, checked in quickly, went to bed then left the next morning. The rooms were nothing special, but I had a comfortable night's sleep at a reasonable price.

Barely English speaking front desk staff and worn down, dirty rooms. The bed was lumpy. Don't stay here

Hotel is very close to Vancouver International Airport and has reasonable prices. Lots of parking for a fee.

Not easy to get to from airport

The hotel doesn't have regularly scheduled pickup times from the airport. You have to phone and wait for them to come. Because all hotel shuttle busses pick up from the same location you have to be outside to see what hotel the busses are going to. Not fun when cold and wet!

Old and just plain worn out

We have been staying here for years and they really need to do some upgrading. The bathroom needs work and new towels. Rooms are clean and staff so so but we just check in and sleep between trips. never even turned on the TV. Will stay again as long as the price does not go up. our towels terriable

The location is very industrial and the noise from the freeways is terrible. Really hard to sleep. The rooms are old and outdated. We would have left if we hadn't prepaid the room fee.

The front desk staff was friendly. Hotel is outdated and could use a makeover, but it's close to the airport and the price was fair for this area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Nice hotel with shuttle service from airport. However, no shuttle service to port, we had to request a cab--$30.00 (one of the reasons people go to Vancouver to catch cruise ships.. Hotel staff told us how to catch the sky train to downtown Vancouver. I would stay there again.

Staff and shuttle bus were the only things that this hotle has going for it. I woldn't even have my dog stay in this hotel. This Coast Hotel disappoints

I have stayed at the Coast Hotel in Nanaimo and foolishly expected something similar. Did. Not. Happen. We had a very very basic hotel with the barest of decor and amenities. It was a full on disappointment and if my 82 year old mother wasn't too tired to move hotels, I would have.

If your desperate to save a penny then maybe stay here its not worth the money, 40 dollers more will get you an extremely better place. Looks and smells like a cheap motel. Loud next to the freeway not a place I would stay again.

Did the job nicely

Stayed here for a couple of nights for the Vancouver Marathon. The room was decent and the view was not too bad. Stopover before cruise

We stayed the night before going on a cruise and used their "stopover" rate which includes 14 days of parking. It was pretty much what you'd expect from an airport hotel - anonymous, but perfectly acceptable. Room clean and quiet, beds good Staff rather off hand. The shuttle bus ran to time. We didn't try the restaurant.

Great for overnight

Stayed here while overnighting between flights. It was clean quiet and comfortable, good value. The shuttle is great, runs on the half hour. Didn't have much interaction with staff, check in and out was effortless. I was travelling with my small dog and did have to pay an additional $20.00, I was aware of this so it wasn't a surprise.

Before Flying

Good hotel to use if your flying out the next day. Stayed here many times and every time the service is good. The rooms and average... nothing too special about them but the view was good. Parking lot is confusing though but all in all it's good for an early flight the next day.

Reasonable value & convenient to airport

The photos on their website were not anything like the room

For the price of the room it was not worth it. On their website where I booked the room looked much newer and updated.. The room I got was old and not nice.. Maybe for $40 but not over $100. I kept my shoes on. Won't stay there again. The shuttle driver was nice thou if that helps.

Conveniently located near YVR. Complimentary and frequent shuttles to and from airport available. Room was very clean! Décor is dated, but rooms are spacious and you have everything you need. Staff friendly and efficient. For $100/night...well worth the stay.

This hotel was good and close to the airport. Shuttle service was great. I would recomend it if your looking for a hotel after or before a flight. We ate at the white spot in the hotel for dinner and breakfast and it was great .

Buyer Beware

Purchased through Expedia.ca a one night stay for late May at this hotel.
My plans changed, I thought I had a 7day cancellation period but the hotel say it is a non-refundable, no cancellation booking. Expedia will not do anything and the hotel is playing hard ball even though they still have two weeks to re-book.

clean comfy large room. stayed the night before an early morning flight. shuttle was ready to go dropped us off in front of the departure gate, drive was about 6 mins. Bed beds ever

This hotel is conveniently located, with an efficient every 30 minutes shuttle service, this hotel offers the best beds, pillows and duvets. A good choice when you just change planes and need a good night sleep. It is unfortunate that it doesn't offer a continental breakfast.

Far exceeded our expectations.

On entering the hotel it seemed sketchy (the surroundings), but the service was very good. The rooms were older but very clean. My room was quiet. I would not recommend this hotel for a woman traveling on her own. I had a colleague staying in another room so felt "all right".

This is a clean hotel and it has a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle was the reason I booked it as our flights were in the early am and they have 24 hour service. Stayed here for two nights before our flight to Mexico last month, the price was reasonable, service was efficient. Do not expect anything luxury, but you will have a clean room and a clean shower. Shuttle service to the airport was a big plus!

Nothing spectacular about this hotel, just that is a good inexpensive airport hotel.

Unfriendly staff, connecting White Spot closed at 7pm which is ridiculous for hotel guests. Was advertised there was free breakfast, but no such luck. Thankfully they had their shuttle bus which turned out being the only positive thing.
