The patio on this place is fantastic. There is a view of some street art which takes up the side of the wall nearby. I just went for a glass of sangria which was good. We ordered some sausage, which were supposed to be accompanied by potatoes, but were not. The service was terrible. Even though the place was not... plus
May 16th 2014, we had a gathering of friends. Of which none had ever been to the Club Espanol de Québec. Which is a private Club. However open to the public with a great roof top terrace , great atmosphere, food and screens to watch the hockey playoff with the Montreal Canadiens or of course World Cup!!

Do not expect a fancy Spanish restaurant. The food tastes really good and the service is warm. Very affordable food and wine in a cosy ambience. Try the "calamares en su tinta" and the Sangria. Highly recommended!
A real taste of Madrid in MTL... the most authentic you can get. Introduced by my friends from Madrid. It's where they go for their Fam. dinners for a taste of home
If you are looking for a nice, fancy Spanish restaurant, this is not the place. If you want good tasting food, nice service, good portions and Spanish ambiance, this is perfect. I enjoy the experience every time I go: the tapas (gambas diablo...mmm), the paella valenciana, house wine... all is good and with fare prices: 5 of us, 5 tapas,... plus
Awesome food, beautiful terrace (do not go if not to be outside. Inside is just Spanish men watching soccer...). Okay sangria. Service was friendly but overwhelm when I was there. Might not be the case all the time. I hope. Get there early on sunny days.
Went for lunch with my wife to try it out. What a disappointment and what an insult to the great Spanish cuisine. First of all the venue lacks any warmth or charm... But it could be acceptable considering the humble origins of the club. After all, there are many low key establishments in Spain which serve very decent home style... plus
Club Espagnol Du Québec offers these services: restaurant, club, clubs.
Located in a huge hall on the second floor of a nondescript building on The Main, this isn't so much a restaurant as a gathering spot for Montreal's Spanish community. As you'd expect, the food is authentic and the atmosphere lively. Dishes include anchovies in vinaigrette, Spanish Omelette, fried calamari, mussels in tomato sauce and Paella Valenciana. Service is exceptional and prompt. Dinner... plus
