My personal experience was terrible. Heather, the caretaker can be hear yelling at those that live there like they are children, she will give rent increases of hundreds of dollars if she does not like you, and after I moved out she began a mean spirited campaign to get me fired from my job and evicted from my new place by calling both my boss and landlord and telling them I was a drug addict.
At the time I moved out another tenant was also leaving because of similar problems with Heather, and my former neighbour is currently in the process of suing her. Be very careful about this place.
My experience there was not very good. Now the apartments themselves are nice and well kept but the landlady is cruel and cold hearted. She has no compassion for people and you literally feel like you have to walk on eggshells living there so you dont make her mad. She is least friendliest person I have ever met in my life, not very professional at all. She does not make it a very pleasurable experience to live there and most tenants cant even have a life there as once your lease is up you are out no questions asked even if you have never done anything wrong, but most people are more than happy to move out anyway.
I was visiting a guest at the apartment and before I entered the building the landlady ran out of her apartment and was yelling at me to move my vehichle from an empty lot. No discussion or professionalism, just abusive harassing yelling. Then once I entered the building and looked out the window with the tenant to see whi this unstable person was, I was told it was the landperson.
This person saw us & proceeded to yell insults and other tenants were entering the building witnessing this. She concluded her rant with " kiss my a**" when I responded to her stating her verbal harassment was unnecessary.
I am a professional in my 40's and have never been spoken to like this! Complete abuse of power by "authority".
I found out there is a serious history of these and more serious episodes toward previous tenants.
Be very aware if you are a new tenant and she is still working there.
My fiancee and I lived here for about 6 months. The apartment itself was nice and well cared for. However the owner/ landlord was the most unpleasant person I have ever dealt with. She does not like people. We asked if 29 days was enough notice to move out and she told us that unless we gave notice before midnight the month before, we would lose our ENTIRE deposit. She is not flexible and does not want to help you. I think she takes pleasure in just being a mean nasty person.
