Like another reviewer, my food was also lukewarm. I had the Pacific Benedict (referred to as the salmon Benedict by another reviewer). It was very good, but lukewarm instead of hot. The breakfast potatoes were hot, so I assume the Benny was lukewarm because they had to wait for potatoes. Coffee was excellent, service was excellent, but food took a long time to come out. Probably close to 20... more
Pretty typical hotel breakfast buffet. The yogurt and granola was good. Lots of topping options. Also went on a day without the buffet option, nothing special about the food. Staff on both days have exceptional service.
Good average.....drinks were good.....ambiance IN the Hilton so not great.....OK spot to meet up with people because it is not busy and you can find seats
Seriously, where else greets you on a first name basis after you haven't visited in almost a year! Levi and MaryAnn are simply the best! They are so kind, friendly and accommodating. Not only to remember our names and our daughters, they were thrilled to welcome our newest addition. They sent food up with my husband when I was unable... more
I have never encountered such friendly staff, as soon as your glass was empty they would be at your table offering another drink. A great way to unwind after a long day. Thanks team
Really Friendly staff, good location - great atmosphere for drinks with friends. Pool tables were fun!
We didn't eat here, just stopped in for some libations. The Canadian Cesar with candied bacon, sausage, onion, pepper and MTL Steak spice was the best Cesar I've had in a long time. The snack mix is tasty and the service is great. we'll stop here again.
The service was great here in the spacious room. A little on the noisy side but after all it is a place to unwind.
Considering the location and the prices, we did not find anything particularly special about this place. Our server was the only bright spot of the evening. As we were the only people in the entire dining for the first hour we had plenty of time to engage in interesting dialogue with this pleasant young Aussie. Two other diners arrived to... more
Went to this place in the base of the Hilton for breakfast buffet and it was perfect. They have everything you would want from pancakes, to banana bread to cereal and fruit. They will make you an omelet however you like, a word of warning, don't eat too much before you get the omelet, they are huge. The pancakes were... more
The strange thing about the restaurant in the Hilton is that it seemed to be mostly empty during our stay, whereas the adjacent bar was often full to bursting. We only went there because we couldn't be bothered to go out for a meal, but the food was so good (we had the venison) that we returned the following evening.... more
I ate at the Hilton hotel restaurant restaurant (Cinnamon Bear Grille). My first night in Whistler I had the Lamb Shank at the "21 Steps" restaurant and was severely disappointed in the lack of flavor. I decided to give the lamb shank another try at the "Cinnamon Bear Grille". Sadly, I batted 0 for 2 in that regard. Both were... more
This was a really busy bar with hockey on TV but maybe it was a little too busy as the service was quite slow, we watched hockey to fill the time, maybe that was the point?, as it was too noisy for a conversation. Having said that we had a comfortable table, the food was plentiful when it arrived although... more
Went here on a recommendation. Liked the bar in particular. Good atmosphere & not too noisy. It was a sports bar with a couple of pool tables. Can be hard to find. It is inside the HIlton. We ate at the Grill as well. Food was good as was the service. We were able to order off the bar menu... more
Three of my friends and I went here for breakfast and ohhh we loved it!
The buffet was really nice. It had a good mix of hot and cold breakfast options. It also included coffee and juice. Being a person with allergies I was so happy when they had soy milk for my coffee! My friends ordered off the regular...

We arrived at 5.30pm for what was to be an amazing night. We did bring our own bottle of champagne, they charged $20.00 dollars corkage (still cheaper to bring own). The food was excellent, the two waitresses where fantastic, one Aussie and the other a Pom. We had the most enjoyable evening and ending with ports, Irish coffee and leaving... more
Decent Breakfast. The buffet is $24, but has reasonably decent fare. Fresh OJ and Omelets. Not Fancy.
Weak for dinner, food is very average and expensive. Wine list is simply pathetic. No vibe at all. Great for Clark Griswald.
We chose to eat at this restaurant because of convenience and didn't know what to expect. Our family of 5 (12, 17, 21, and two parents) all loved it. We each had a different entree (venison, cod, onion soup, salmon, and NY steak) and each turned out really tasty. We got a total of 3 alcoholic drinks, 2 appetizers, and... more
Since we were staying at the Hilton, it was very convenient to eat breakfast before skiing at the Cinnamon Bear Grille. We also had dinner here, but breakfast was better. We tried a variety of items for breakfast and the banana bread French toast, eggs Benedict, and omelettes were delicious. None of us were hungry enough to try the breakfast... more
We looked on tripadvisor to find a nice place to eat breakfast. We didn't have our kids with us and don't do this often so decided to look for a nice breakfast buffet. This one came up. I called ahead to see if there was a lineup and also what they had in the buffet. The items were described as... more
I have been to this restaurant before and the food was amazing, especially the dessert! I went back again this week and they now have 3 courses for $34, a large savings! Petr was serving us and he mentioned Steven was the chef. Both were amazing. Will definitely be back.
This was my local for seven years until I moved. On hockey nights they have the Canucks on the big screen and its a great atmosphere. The food is great and they have comfortable couches after a big day on the hill to chill on.
It's a local hang out that most people don't get to see.
The breakfast buffet is great if you are staying at the Hilton. Very convenient, lots of selection and very good service.
As a local for quite some time, this is a personal favourite, good food, great service, hockey nights always good with possible prizes if you are buying beer. Free pool as well. Most of the staff there are great as well, the off time they are a bit busy. Plus hug the bear when you wonder on home.
This was an unexpected surprise to find good food in the hotel given the bounty of options in the village, but it was a great value, excellent presentation and a very pleasant experience.
great service, awesome chairs, good food and right in the hotel. very pleasant atmosphere, with friendly wait staff.
$120 dinner and only the children and their fish and chips were satisfied. Flavourless and overpriced. Go elsewhere.
Wonderful waitresses, very accomadating. Breakfast was good, better when ordered rather than buffet. Levi gave amazing service.
We only ate there for one breakfast and it was delicious. My omelet was wonderful, probably the best I have had.
The Cinnamon Bear Grill offers a nice spot for Apres and has reasonably priced food/drinks. They also have a good lounge area where you can watch almost any sports game imaginable. They have chess and checkers at the tables which is fun if you want something to do while relaxing after a long day on the hill. They are one... more
service was good and the buffet breakfast had everything you could want. Very good breakfast, I went there because I had vouchers from my stay there. If I did not have the vouchers it would have cost over 50.00 for two breakfasts
I have been visiting Whistler for about 16 years and decided to try some different restaurants this year. Our Australian waitress was excellent and the food was superb. This was the only restaurant that tempted me into a desert. The coffee caramel crime brûlée just had to be done and did not disappoint. However the restaurant is out of the... more
I have been in cinnamon bear three times and always had a great service. Food was good, but absolutely no ambience. Boring place and urgently needs some interior decorator help!!! Also been offered 15% discount for next time, which is lovely and I used it. East-coast chowder from starter menu seriously delisiouce and bread basket! My husband enjoyed bison steak.
The bar I mean. It used to be a hot spot in whistler, packed après ski / board. Now it's a generic bar offering only Molson products that could be anywhere. Not one local or even BC microbrew on tap and hardly any bottled. Very poor management.
Expensive, but worth it! Also had breakfast there. I wouldn't suggest the buffet for breakfast, but the à la carte menu.
I've always had a hard time finding a good breakfast in Whistler until this last trip. We went to the Cinnamon Bear this time and it was really good. We didn't do the buffet, that seems really overpriced. I ordered banana bread French toast and it was really good. The service was pretty average.
The service was excellent but the food and atmosphere were very ordinary. We probably wouldn't go back there next time.
We ate here on Christmas Eve, the waitress was outstanding but the food was very average. We ordered medium steaks and they were well done and not very hot. We never went back.
Not the type to ever complain but this was aweful food and very expensive. Not one person at our table enjoyed their meal. We understood why the restaurant was dead. Went here last year and did not enjoy the food but wanted to give it a second chance. The seafood tastes very very fishy, the pizza tasted like maple syrup,... more
Servers remembered us through the week as we were there for a conference - great service and very friendly!
Been to many Hilton Hotels around the world but this was not to Hilton standards.
Dining room service was sub par, food was the same as any other place in Whistler.
The patio and pool was closed and the construction did not make it a comfortable atmosphere.
If you have experience the service and food in Asia and big cities...

We tried this the first night we were here and the food was really good and the staff member serving us was excellent.
We went there for brunch at 11 and were surprised that no one else was in the entire restaurant. I had the Banana bread french toast which was pretty good but very filling it says the peanut butter comes whipped but it doesnt) The smoked salmon benedict was very good.
Had dinnar the Cinnamon Bear with the family. The 3 course dinner special was very good value. The server was very good. Convient location.
Had breakfast here one day. It is definitely on the expensive side, but the food was excellent. Probably couldn't afford to eat here for my whole stay, but definitely worth having a meal at.
We spent two days in Whistler, the hotel was very good. This restaurant not so much. The first morning we ate breakfast in the restaurant. They had a little buffet set up. Some items were very good, a couple of others were shopworn. Service was attentive. Price was a little steep but our room included breakfast so not a problem.... more
Not the greatest time there - I've been a couple times and found the staff to be unhelpful and the crowd to be a little rough.
Loved everything!!!! Great meals, great service and great people! Food quantities are for those who are not worried about their waistline.... true melt in your mouth cuisine.
Was a very fun bar with a great atmosphere. We spent the night after Tough Mudder at the bar and it was a great time. The drinks were good and well priced as well.
This is a bar and grille I would go to even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.
We visited on a Tuesday evening in early June. There were only four tables of patrons present. It was quiet but after all the hoopla that goes on at Whistler on a regular basis we needed a well deserved quiet time with a delicious bottle of wine and with an equally compelling repast. After our appetizers, hot seafood creamed corn... more
overpriced and rated, not worth the moniey you pay for... many other options in town for same price range but better food
On our first morning we wanted a sit down breakfast. We went there for the buffet. For two people with tip and conversion to US dollars, it was $70, the food wasn't that good. Service was very slow to get coffee and water refilled. Don't waste your time here!
Good breakfast buffet.... Probably because it was free.... Thanks Hilton Honors!
We were staying at the Hilton so this was a convenient place to have a dinner although we did walk the village and review a bunch of menus before settling back on Cinnamon Bear Grille.
We arrived at the front desk and waited for the hostess to return (we had seen her on our way out of the hotel 20 minutes before). We were waiting a few minutes when a waiter cam out and asked if it was just the...

Breakfast is excellent. The service is awesome. Connie is a very attentive waitress. The salmon benedict is wonderful. The coffee is strong and a good roast. If you are a Hilton Honors member you get points and breakfast. A great deal.
We added CBBG to our list of "must-trys" in Whistler when was saw the head chef face off with Mario on "Iron Chef" and win (at least, that is what my husband's recollection is). For the month of November, the restaurant offered a 3-for-$30 meal that consisted of a starter/appetizer/entree combo. It was like a crappier version of Seattle's 30-for-30 in Whistler, without the extra menu items you... more
Dining room serves West coast seafood and steak, while the adjacent bar boasts everything necessary for après-ski: a fireplace, flat-screen TVs, beer, burgers and billiards. Kids’ menu. $-$$. B/D (daily), L (daily in bar only).
The Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille offers two choices, a pub-like atmosphere on one side with leather armchairs, pool tables, TV, and reasonably priced food and drink. And on the other side, a finer dining experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a good spot to meet some friends for a drink and some tasty food.
