Family run and operated for as long as I can remember. Restaurant could use an update, but I wouldn't go anywhere else for my Fish and Chips. Excellent portions and quality.
The family sold the eat-in seating & bar area, now called T. William's, just over a year ago I believe. Churchill's has the best fish & chips in Oshawa in terms of value for money as well as taste. Tried a few other fish & chip places that were unsatisfactory (very greasy, overcooked, etc.) and only get ours from Churchill's... more
I've been dining in and taking out at Churchill's Fish and Chips for a long time now. My experience with their food has always been great. They serve huge portions for a great price and always delicious so I would recommend them for sure. Nice family owned restaurant!

We have been ordering from here for years and it is always good. The first time we ordered we ordered 2 fish for everyone, we were eating fish for a week. Now we know about the two fish per order for take out. We have only eaten at the restaurant a few times and the restaurant is old but the... more
We usually get take out from here. They give 2 pieces of fish per 1 order so be careful how much you order. Up to the last visit, it had always been good but our last visit here, the fish was thin and overbattered and overcooked. We didn't enjoy it this time.
I have never been disappointed with this restaurant. You get two pieces of fish with every order. My husband and I always get the three fish and one chip order and are very full when finished.
greasy, the blond owner is very rude, my friend had diarrea after eating there stay awy
the portions are a good size and price is quite reasonable the food is good
I have eaten here a few times. The food is alright for frozen fish I suppose but they do listen to how you want it prepared... and the restaurant, (not been in the pub side) is quite shabby and not always the cleanest. The service is good and the staff friendly but that is about it.
Like the post below, the food is nothing special but the pub is nice and the service is great. Bottom line: there are cheaper places that serve similar quality in terms of food.
This place is divided into three parts, eat in, take out and a convenient pub in the corner that has British beer on tap. The server was excellent but the food was not really as good as can be found many other restaurants. It was not so bad as to put us off forever but not good enough to make... more
