Great delicious Greek food! nice atmosphere, lots of photos on the wall of a big crowd and a belly dancer, however when we were there it was only us and another table and there was no live music or belly dancer but we still enjoyed our time.
We've been going here for over 15 years. we started off loving it, then just liking it, now it's just ok... you can no longer order skewers by the piece. There is less fresh green veg on the plate but more potato and rice? Lamb and beef dishes are limited, where are the grilled and fried calamari, octopus, fresh fish... more
This restaurant is located at a very busy street and it is considered as an upper-middle class restaurant...
a warm welcome is what you experience until you get seated...a variety of dishes that suites many tastes is all available...Waiters knows about the food they are serving...

My husband and I loved going to Christina's as it was a great place to go late night for a meal and bottle of wine. We had not been in a few weeks and decided to go this weekend. When we opened our menu, we were shocked at the sudden increase in price. Almost every dish including appetizers were raised... more
The patio looks nice until you walk in restaurant. The further back you are seated the more it looks gloomy. Hospitality is cold and the waiters are worst and their English is not very good. I had pasta and sea food for $24, my friend had grilled calamari it was not tender but rubbery. All the other Creek restaurant includes... more
I ordered lamb shishkobab last night. It wasn't edible it was all grizzle. The waiter spoke to the manager who said it was because I had ordered medium rare. I have had lamb hundreds of times and this was the worse ever. He didn't come to speak to me he just sent the rediculous explanation. The waiter was pleasant and... more
I had the lamb chops, delicious. The atmosphere is great, they had a belly dancer. Service was excellent. Only negative was the smoking on the patio, right beside the no smoking sign. Appetizers were delicious, we had a sample platter. Various dips, pits bread, pickled octopus, olives and other stuff. Very good.
The patio and open front of the restaurant make it a great venue on Danforth for greek food - the lamb and calamari are reliably good and the dips are outstanding.
I do not think Greek food is the most interesting, but this restaurant does its best to make it, using very fresh, and well seasoned ingredients, treating them with respect. Whole fish is fresh, sweet and perfectly grilled and served with lemon juice and olive oil. Portions are generous, traditional Greek dishes are well represented. There are lots of choices... more
I am not a big fan of Greek food (very few restaraunts in São Paulo) but I did have a very nice meal at Christina´s. We decided to go for a set of snack plates in order to have a little taste of several different appetizers. It was a lot of fun.
I had a wonderful dinner with my boyfriend at Christina's. They had Belly Dancing & live music to enjoy with our meal. I really enjoyed the different experience & will be dining there again in the near future. Opa!
Absolutely the best Greek meal I have had in my 24 years of living with a fantastic Cypriot Greek cook.
There is a plethora of Greek restaurants in this street to choose from, I can't compare them, all I can say is give it a try.
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Worth checking out if you relish authentic Greek cuisine.
Looking for a place that we could hear each other talk since it was 3 generations of family that had not seen each other for a long time.
This place for lunch was perfect, great food, good service everyone enjoyed their meal.
Would definitely like to try again in the summer on the outside patio.
This is Greece! From the food to the music to the relaxed service and the awesome hospitality. By far the best fish soup in the Danforth. A great place to visit if you are from out of town or are looking for a truly unique experience.
Been waiting for our food for more than half an hour. The manager told us it's coming in 2 mins but the restaurant was barely full. They got our orders the same time with the table next to us. Their order came shortly and have been eating already. Very poor service.
Glad we took the recommendation for this restaurant. Searched on things to do in Toronto East and this restaurant was listed as a favorite in the Greek area on Danforth St.
We had great service and the food was awesome. From the fried squids and the spanakopita to the grilled red snapper (fish of the day) everything was excellent. We...

We drive to Christina's all the way from Milton whenever we want a great Greek meal with a live atmosphere. This restaurant is always buzzing with people, has a nice patio, live entertainment on weekends, good service, tasty house red wine and most importantly delicious quality authentic Greek food. A solid 4 star restaurant that we frequent often.
We went to this restaurant as a recommendation from a bartender from an Italian restaurant we visited. I live near Chicago and have been to Greek town several times. We liked the food better than Greek town in Chicago. Would go back again not only for the food, the service was excellent as well.
We went yesterday to Christina's probably for the 10th time. Great place and the best value for money evening. Nice food, with drinks and hours of live Greek music until 01.30 AM for 120 dollars a couple.
Will go back again
If you go to the website, it may seem appealing until you find that it is closer to false advertising than reality.

Restaurant with elegant modern mediterranean design. Food is mediterranean cuisine with some new trends, Atmosphere is always pleasant and welcoming.
If you like Mediterranean style food, and eating atmosphere then Christina's is a great place to go. I think it has one of the best dinning atmospheres for this type of experience in the city. It is small, crowded and noisy, while wonderful aromas emanating from the kitchen fill the air along with wine and perfume. It's perfect. You have... more
Went to Christina's on a Saturday night with 22 friends for a birthday party. The food is amazing, the tzatziki to die for! The only thing is that the restaurant is really small, we were seated like sardines, it was very loud and it took almost 4 hours to have dinner! We waited for a beer for 40 minutes! The... more
That was a great experience. Friendly staff, great service, and good tasting food. What surprised me the most was the server who was wandering around with the tray of the what I am calling trio-fish; that evening's specials. Good location: Typical menu for the location:. But service was somewhat inattentive although food ordered came at a good pace.

Four friends went there on Friday night. The restaurant even was full, the waiters brought our orders very quickly. The dinner was wonderful, as concern the quality, the prices and the atmosphere. I suggest it to other people, without doubt.
We were there with a group of 12 on saturday night. First off the place was packed, not good if you are with a large group. Our food was cold. One person in our group ordered the rack of lamb which was served to him lukewarm with tasteless rice and veggies. When we told the waiter the lamb was cold... more
Over the weekend we thought we would try the Danforth for a change and enjoy some Greek food. With so many places to pick from, it was a little bit tricky. We walked by a very nice looking spot and could hear Greek music being played and looked busy, compared to some of the other restaurant. It was Christina's on... more
Although this place was packed...I'm sure with regulars, I was not impressed. Perhaps the loud atmosphere and young patrons, doesn't allow one to see that this place isn't the cleanest. This was my second visit but first meal. The first time I visited (many years ago), I actually ended up walking out. I won't be making a third attempt. I... more
Best Food and Service.
We've been coming to this great place for years. What brings us back after trying so many other Greek restaurant along this street, is the food and service. Not to mention the that the aumbiance is warm with a great two level patio for those hot summer nights. The weekends are very enjoyable with a belly dancer and a two piece, bouzouki and organ player to set the mood...

Great Greek Restaurant
Visited Christina's couple of days ago. I felt like I was at a restaurant on one of the Greek Islands. There was entertainment, a bazouki player and a belly dance who were very good. For some people they might find it a little noisy, but that added to the atmosphere and it only lasted while the belly dancer performs. The food was great, especially the grilled octopus,...

Beautiful Place to dine! We recently tried Christina's and we must say we truly enjoyed our experience. They have a beautiful outdoor patio seating which we chose to eat. We had several of their dips with hot pita bread along with a nice Greek bottle of white wine.
The tzatziki nice and thick just like we had in Greece, garlicky enough, but not overpowering. Our entrees were cooked just right....

It was my moms 60th birthday celebration this past weekend. We decided to go to Christina's for this celebration. There was a group of 8 and I must say we had a very nice time. We ordered the Christina's pikilia with a variety of dips, dolmades and octopus. The dips had a nice flavour to them as did the dolmades. The octopus was tender and marinated with a zesty sauce. I'm not a fan of octopus... more
Went there for a late lunch on a sunny sunday afternoon.
The calamaries were very good but it was the only thing which was worth the price we paid.
We were very well welcome at the entrance of the restaurant but after it was not the same level.
We decided to sit on the patio to have drinks and appetizers at this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The appetizers were well portioned and reasonably priced. The drinks the same. We saw other people's meals coming out and saw excellent portion sizes too. We will definitely be back for dinner, and hope we're just as pleased with it! I... more

We went there a late Saturday night, for a very late dinner and couple of drinks. Service was relatively fast, drinks were good but the food was average, and that is a push; definitely overpriced. Its been a while since I was at Christina's. The last time I was there with colleagues I came away unimpressed with the management. We were there on Family Day, which seems to be an Ontario holiday. I think the place was unusually staffed and they also didn't have the heat very high since they probably didn't expect much business. But to me if you're going to be open then put your best foot forward.

Especially a nice place to dine in the summer as they have a great patio.
