this place was very good with a wider menu but the ownership changed and the beef dishes were dumped....the prices went up and the food quality did not really improve...the buffet is horrible and not worth the money..better to order from the menu but expect very small quantities...it does not compare to Winnipeg restaurants in Indian foot.

Chilli Chutney is a fantastic restaurant, authentic decor, great prices and the food is delicious. Buffet is very reasonably priced with a very good selection. A great asset to the city of Brandon.

Great Experience with Indian Cuisine

Had an excellent experience with the Indian buffet for only $15. Servers were welcoming and helpful. Quality and freshness of the food was good. Nice to have a reliable dining option in town that serves something other than fast food. Will be returning without a doubt.

I found myself in Brandon on a business trip and a craving for Indian food. Stopped by Chilli Chutney as it seemed to be fairly well known.

Indian Cuisine

It is wonderful to have ethnic Indian food! The fresh Naan bread is delicious, and comes in many varieties. They have a great buffet! Lots of wonderful menu choices as well. Generous portions, great value.

Nothing remarkable

We grabbed a bite to eat around 9ish, we were the only people there. Server was quite pleasant, though he seemed panicked when I asked him what he liked on the menu.
In the end we did the butter chicken, goat curry and chicken vindaloo. Food was just ok.
Unless I really wanted curry in Brandon, I wouldn't go again.

The best curry around

We are frequents to the Chilli Chutney - Laxman & his staff serve up some of the best curries we've ever tasted. Such a nice, warm atmosphere to share a meal with friends & loved ones. Don't even get me started on that naan bread - I could make a meal out of it alone. Always a pleasure!

Authentic and fantastic

Very good service, food is definietly authentic India, really lovely, great atmosphere, Food was amazing! A bit pricey but well worth it!

At lunch with some colleagues at this restaurant - we all had the lunch buffet. New owners (former cook) and take out buffet for $12. You get a large takeout dish and a small. You can pack it FULL! It already had great food, now takeout buffet. Included is naan bread for the road.
