I'd skip the seafood next time - but still good

Dining solo - they treated me well, service was prompt. Server was new, so she couldn't really recommend much. I ordered the Cioppino - the linguini and sauce was good, but the scallops, squid, and prawns were overcooked - I don't know if the mussels were or not. The bun was boring.

Excellant Food

The Food is always good, Service is well-done and the food is superior. We have never had a complaint in any of our visits.

We went for a mid-afternoon "lupper." The service was good on the patio and the spinach Fettucini Diablo was superb.

Great food, great service

We ordered food from Chianti's for a double baptism celebration. They have a fantastic catering menu at $10/person. We expected about 40 people and had tons of food left over. Yummy-licious

Chianti's is simply delightful! The fresh pasta is to die for. I love the penne with sun-dried tomatoes in a curry creme sauce! The fettuccine Alfredo & pasta with rose sauce are both sinfully delicious! Perfect place for an afternoon lunch on the patio!

Here for.a good time

We regularly go to Chianti's. Especially when we want an Italian meal. We always get great service and usually ask for a quicken the service as are late for something.
They have really good specials if you like seafood.
Portion sizes are great!

Service was ok the food was below average. The combinations of the pasta were a little odd and the lasagna was a little greasy.

If you love pasta, this is your place

Chianti's pasta, there's nothing better then fresh pasta. They serve a tasty Gelato as well, the service has always been good when I've been there. They are also very accommodating, if you want to slightly switch up how things are on the menu, example switch out one kind of pasta for another with the rest remaining the same.

Another go-to tradition on Whyte

Chianti's is a decades-old fixture on the Ave, and well worth the trip. Excellent pastas at thoroughly reasonable prices - especially on Mondays and Tuesdays.
My personal recommendations are the Fettucini Supremo and Fettucini Du Chef.

We have visited the Chianti Restaurant on Whyte Avenue many times and always have had a consistently excellent meal. We also find the prices reasonable, the ambiance authentic, and the service excellent.

Great atmosphere and great service. Unfortunately they were not able to execute traditional Italian dishes such as bolognese sauce and carbonara. Good menu and average food

Good food, great drinks, nice atmosphere

I went to this location once with my family while in Edmonton and it was great. We all had different food but it was all good. I love the sangria - cheap for a pitcher as well. I would recommend for sure.

Chianti's Gem is Changing

I have been eating here since I was about 7 years old. It is by far my favourite Italian place in Edmonton. The fettucini Alfredo is delicious, I get it every time!

Terrible bland food

The serving sizes are OK but the noodles were over-cooked and the sauces bland. The service was slow. One advantage is that this restaurant does offer a number of gluten free options.

I find that the pasta is overloaded and it discounts the taste of the other ingredients and herbs. Italian but oh so American rush rush. Food is cheesy, aka goopy, but ok if you like that kind of American "Italian" food.
