Comfortable and Affordable
I travel for work, locals recommended the place, it was easy to find, met my needs, and the offer a pretty reasonable weekly rate. I found the owner helpful with information about the area, and the room was clean, with wifi and satellite. I found most of the guest to be workers from out of town, quiet, never had a problem or felt uncomfortable.
The best part is definitely walk along the lake, has a cottage feel, I wish I brought my bike!
Where to cheat
Well my stay was not a good one for me but I am sure the hourly's who came had a great time, as it kept me awake. Parking is to tight and my car was actually dented from the guy who parked beside me, i guess when he opened his door. I smelt smoke and not cigarettes either, I got nervous at that moment. My towels for bathing where grey and very thin and they had black hair on them like dog or cat hair. I did notice she had a dog who is to me not friendly at all, not in her best interest to have the dog outside tied up so close to peoples cars.
New Owners, Now Lake Trail Motel
I stayed for a while and have to say very clean, very reasonable and very nice owners. Made my stay in a new town an awesome experience.

Cheaters welcome
April 20, 2011Well if you are from Hamilton this is where all the cheaters go, and they dont say no to them hourly's they make them pay cash upfront. I was treated like one of them with making me pay upfront too, even with me having a credit card. Cozy and affordable!
March 08, 2011It's a small motel, but it's cozy and clean, not to much affordable. I was there in the summer, the motel is located close to the lake, there was a beautiful path along the lake for cycling and walking. I enjoyed my stay.

Great staff
June 24, 2010We pulled in really late but the manager was more than happy to help us out. He even was up early to make sure we had a good stay and help us out with directions.
