The Southridge Chatters is much better for service and product.
I was interested in purchasing a hair product here and was told two different things from two different employees.
Stood in their product section for nearly 15 minutes and looked at every curl enhancer (and had time to read all the ingredients of each) and nobody asked if I needed or even wanted help. Bought my product elsewhere.
I've been to a bunch of places around town and settled at Chatters for the past few years. As a guy, I like: A. to book on short notice (only been a problem a couple of times, but usually ok); B. to give as little information as possible about what kind of trim i want (i finally figured out that the style i go with is called a Cesar. Number 2 on the clippers, please); C. have a backup stylist there if my usual isn't available, and they have plenty of stylists who have been able to step in ably when my regular wasn't available. aaand D. pay as little as possible per hair leaving my head.
D is where they come up a little short: $24 for a trim and wash vs $18-ish for a trim at a barber shop. I prefer to pay the extra though, the wash (aka head massage - when else can we treat our scalps?) and style is worth it.
