Excellent interior, perfect location

The hotel is located at the tide bore of the mouth of a river. We arrived at the night of a full moon and watched the tide rising a few feet in an hour. The room is spacious. The interior is well decorated. The location is closed to attractions and groceries. We love it!

Great vistas but a tired hotel

I have stayed at the Château Moncton in the past, when it was younger and more current, but the hotel now needs to be updated. The beds were too soft, the halls too dark, the fixtures were very dated. The location is good and the vistas are great. The staff was utilitarian but not overly friendly.

Stayed here for two nights while travelling the coast. Perfect half-way point. Nothing fancy but large clean rooms, pleasant front staff. Lovely hotel

On our trip to NB we stayed at this beautiful hotel. We have never felt so pampered in our entire lives! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were so friendly. We arrived before our check-in time but it was no problem at all and we were allowed in to our room right away.

A very pleasant overnight stay

We had an appointment in Moncton and decided to stay overnight. Picked this hotel just to see what it was like and it was a good experience. Clean, attractive and good staff. Hadn't stayed right on Main Street for quite a while and if the weather had been warmer, we would really have enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk along the river just behind out hotel.

Unsatisified

We were not satisfied with our recent stay at Chateau Moncton. We specifically requested a Queen Bed and a River View; however, we were not given these, nor were any options given to rectify the situation. The hotel had loud, obnoxious guests on one of the evenings and hotel staff chose to ignore this situation. We will not be staying again.

Ideal Accomodations in Mocton

Chateaux Moncton has, as is said in real estate, location location location. Excellent facility with the most comforatable beds in Atlantic Canada and perhaps on the eastern seaboard. The morning breakfast is very good with many wholesome offerings. What is most appealing is the outdoor amenities of its downtown location.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night in February. The room was large, very clean and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast was quite good. Although we didn't require it, it was nice to see that the room was wheelchair accessible.

Took a 2 week trip thru Quebec and New Bunswick - this was a highlight. Very easy to find, great continental breakfast and large, very clean spacious rooms. Small parking lot - but was able to find parking each night.
