We popped in here for a wing fix recently. The wings were fine although our request to have them finished on the grill was denied. The waitress was very nice and prompt. The onion rings were a tad greasy. Prices were reasonable.

Ok, but not a great experience

We've been to Chaps several times over the years but have come to the conclusion that even for their famous wings, it's not a great experience. I ordered their wings today and found them to be just average much like most everything else on their menu. It was just ok.

Had the ribs they weren't very good kind of cold and didn't seen fresh maybe re heated and not as tender as I'm used too. The lady who served us was nice and friendly.

Hit and miss

Haven't had consistently good food and service @ Chaps. It's hit and miss, which is frustrating. Chicken wings are good, portabello mushroom chicken dry, flatbread pizzas have sweet sauce on them. Very family oriented with a lot of small loud children, so don't go for a romantic meal unless it's very late at night.

I am a chicken wing enthusiast and when tried the medium wings the were AMAZING! double breaded, juicy on the inside....just great wings....the 9.99 portion is sufficient enough for 1 person....get the CHEESE BALLS! But be careful cause they are hot inside! GET THE CARROT CAKE.....GET 2 AND BRING ONE HOME! Service is good...friendly staff....shocking that its not too busy when I go there.

A tacky, dated dump serving huge portions of bad food

This place is a huge disappointment. We wanted Texas Lonestar, but didn't want to drive so far so we tried Chaps. The food doesn't compare - its not tasty or fresh. The portions are massive. It was disappointing in every way. We'll never return.

If you are looking for chicken wings this is a great place. The rest of the menu is above average but the wings are the mainstay and rightfully so.

Avoid big room

Good indulgence food, lots of choice, friendly service. The main big room off the bar is cavernous and very noisy when full, to the point you have to raise your voice to speak. Ask to sit in smaller dining area near Fairview Ave.

Chaps has fabulous chicken wings. They also offer to-share-platters with wings, sweet potato fries, potato skins etc. The nachos are great too. Always great service. If you are looking for a great "wing" place this is it.

Amazing wings at a good price. They have some truly amazing deals during the week. A must visit if you are in Burlington.

Meh, this place is OK. OK food, nice selection of beers, decent patio with slllooowww service. Overall, service was less than stellar (although our waitress was very nice and doing her best)...the young hostess redefined clueless. Cheese balls are still to die for. Our server was fabulous. The food portions are far too large..... Don't order the guacamole if you are having a fajitas... it's not fit for a dog nor is it even the right colour.

I like casual dining and Chaps will likely become another favourite.
The atmosphere was laid back, comfy and casual and our waitress was so friendly. The service was prompt, the food was fantastic - nice big portion and the prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try more food!
Oh, and the menu....they have EVERYTHING!!!

Most of the other food on the menu is pretty pedestrian, but I really can't emphasize enough about the wings!
