Away from the bustle of the city, this was a great place to stay for all of the reasons in the title. Our room conveniently backed onto a yard for our dog, the AC was great, and it was a 2 min walk from the stores/bakery in Beaconsfield.
It was nice to have this quiet, clean, comfortable accommodation available, that is away from the airport and/or not on the highway/freeway, though still close enough to the airport. With wonderful older trees and a quick stroll down to the water -- it was definitely a welcome retreat.
This place is well decked out and nice and quiet location. Walls are quite thin, room is not evenly heated, but the suite is spacious and everything works. Not too overpriced.
I would recommend this place, it's cozy and in a very nice neighbourhood.
We stayed here 1 night to avoid having to worry about driving back downtown after a holiday dinner in nearby Pointe-Claire. The owner, George, was very welcoming, and gave us a substantially reduced rate, just out of holiday cheer! We stayed in the only "Deluxe Suite", which has a whirlpool bathtub that can comfortably fit two. Despite the "deluxe" title,... plus
We were playing golf at a nearby course and looked for an affordable hotel close by - not one by the airport or downtown Montreal and we found the ideal one at Chalets Beaconsfield. The manager (George) was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant in the area (Le Bocage only 100 metres away). The motel is designated 2-star by Quebec... plus
Super friendly management - George answers the phone and is friendly and very helpful. High speed internet, cable with new tv's, and local phone is included . I also trust the cleaning staff - there is no safe but you won't need one in this neighbourhood.
This place is away from the city and close to the water so the...

We wanted a safe place to stow our cat while we went about the area for three days and to save on food costs by cooking in. This was a quiet, clean, pet-friendly stay for us in the heart of the places we wanted to see. They accomodated our wish to not clean the room while we were there so... plus

The hotelier was very friendly and helpful and we felt most welcome during our short 4 day stay. The motel is located in a very nice part of town a block from the water but where traffic was minimal and the nearby stores were friendly and tasteful. The room we stayed in was very spacious and had everything we needed... plus
This motel offers clean, quiet accommodations at very affordable prices. Literally, a couple of minutes off highway 20, it is just a few minutes to downtown Montreal. Free parking at your front door and they even take dogs. Lots of shops nearby too for anything from gifts to groceries to fastfood. Our room came with a microwave, a fridge, a... plus
I spoke with George several times over the phone, and he was very to-the-point (which is always great). What it boiled down to was a change of plans last-minute ON TOP of an already last-minute reservation. Through it all, everything worked out and I can't thank George enough for his help and understanding over that weekend - definitely worth checking... plus
