This is a nice place, nice pool, nice rooms, clean, good food. However, the name is misleading. The "Winery Inn" part is wrong, it is not a winery, it is not a quaint B&B like the name would elude to, but it does the job. Internet was bad however, basically not usable.

There isn't much to say because of how late we checked into the hotel and the fact that we only stayed for one night. But, based on that one night, it was a pretty good stay. Actually, I forgot something important in my room, and the staff was helpful with recovering it. I appreciated their help and the consideration towards the satisfaction of their customers.

French Onion soup was more like a sauce, thick like it had been simmering too long. Dinner was cold, gravy tasted like canned. Prime rib was ordered medium and medium rare, both came back well done and no colour. The waitress however was very good, pleasant and efficient, Should have told her before we did about the meals.

Acceptable rooms but missing out on details- restaurant bad

We needed a one night stay and decided that we had to go back again. It was quiet the night we arrived, but we were still able to get a drink, some food and relax. Breakfast was really good and not expensive (like many chain hotels).

Very Dissappointed

Stayed on January 20th, 2012. Bartender was excellent, other staff, not so much. Lost lights and power in bathroom, couldn't shower in the dark or use blow dryer. Tried the reset button, to no avail. Called front desk...no answer. Called Housekeeping...no answer. Had to leave without showering....not nice.

50th. anniversary-December 24th. 2011, Vintage room

On December 24th.2011, our family and guests had a wonderful time in the Vintage Room. At 4pm we had champagne and hors d'oeuvres delivered to us by a very efficient waitress followed by an outstanding dinner of Prime Rib and Yorkshire Pudding starting with salad and finishing with a melt in your mouth blueberry cheesecake, tea and coffee. Decent and would go back

I noticed a lot of poor reviews but don't understand why. Yes, it's an older hotel that could use a renovation in the rooms. But it's kept up well and everyone was friendly. It was quiet when I checked in so they upgraded me without even suggesting. The place was well-maintained, quiet and has a very nice lobby. What I expected but didn't want!!

I had read a review from a previous guest saying the hotel was noisy due to it's popularity with weddings. Unfortunately it was exactly where I needed the hotel to be so we hoped it would be quiet. Big mistake!! The loud and often obnoxious behaviour from more than a few drunk wedding quests restricted any sleep til early in the a.m. The hotel itself was fine. Great stay once we got upgraded

The hotel is very nice and very easy to get to. It was not busy when we stayed in Sept. Our room was suppose to be king bed with lake view. Turned out to be king bed with QEW view. We complained and they gave us king bed with lake view on 4th floor. Problem 4th floor smelled of cigarette smoke. After complaining they upgraded us free of charge to 6th floor suite. Very nice. A night at the Casablanca

It was a nice hotel, and we got a deal on Orbitz but it was still a relatively high price for one night. We stayed there because there was a wedding, but with their nightly prices the way they are, I don't think we would stay there again. And it's a shame really. They had very nice staff.
